Loved it!. HOW are these books STILL so good?! I’m drawn in to every single book. I’m always so disappointed in myself for finishing it so quickly too - I just can’t put it down! This one was just as great. This woman has a gift.

What a ride!. Denise did it again, she took me on a wild roller coaster ride of emotions. I laughed and cried and felt every emotion expressed in this book.

Exceptional book. I have been reading DGS books for several years. I have loved all of her books and she has fast become my favorite author. Now, this books took me by storm. I had no way of knowing it would turn out the way it did! DGS is a masterful writer that has the ability to draw you into the story so deeply that you can sympathize, empathize and down right despise a character. I get lost in her writing. I went into this book team X (I can't say due to spoiler) and I ended up changing teams.... That is a powerful and talented writer! I felt every emotion humanly possible throughout the book. I love that the characters continue to grow and evolve. I can't say I wasn't sadden by one of the characters actions and the treatment of Rose. However, the books feel real life and completely plausible to me. Kudos to you Denise Grover Swank, you are an exceptional author and I will always be a fan! P.S., loved the seen with Mason, he got a small taste of what he deserves!

Keep up!. For anyone who is a committed Rose Gardner fan this journey is not for the faint of heart. If this is a reader's first experience with Rose Gardner they are lucky to have found her at her most fascinating. Come Rain or Shine will entice anyone who loves to read adventures of bold and daring women that challenge the world as much as it challenges them. The character development and narration engross the reader so passionately that they become raw with emotion. Denise challenges her reader's opinions and ideas of beloved characters and provokes reflection on readers' own experiences while stoking a fire for character and conflict analysis. Denise brings many characters back into the fold and in doing so exposes intense and complex traits. The rate at which Rose encounters conflict in this novel gives the reader an adrenaline rush that peaks and valleys with feriousity. The plotline is beautifully woven with the strands of over a dozen previous storylines. This novel showcases not only character growth and development, it is an example of how Denise has pushed the boundaries of the world she has created and is proving once again that she is a paramount author.

I can’t get enough!!. Denise has once again out done herself! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I laughed, cried, felt broken hearted, felt connected. I’m eager for the next book to follow. Oh, and the bonus scene!! It answered questions and really tugs at the heart strings! This is a must read!

MUST READ. What a fantastic continuation of Rose Gardner, never have I felt such a wonderful mix of emotions while reading. Denise you have done it again . If you are looking for a great series to read this is the one you have looking for starting with 28 and 1/2 wishes you will fall in love with Rose and her wonderful family.

Another great Rose book. DGS really knows how to keep us on our toes. This book was a great page turner. I sure had a lot of emotions in the book and shed some tears but for the most part, I loved it. I’m excited to see where she will take it in the next book. Rose has definitely grown up a ton since the very first book.

I’m dead. I don’t know how she does it. “Oh my stars and garters” is just not a strong enough expression for this. And can we talk about that bonus scene? All I can say is 😱😱😱❤️❤️😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️😭😱❤️😭❤️😵😵😵😱😭😱❤️❤️!!!

Addictive Reading. I read this book in about 5 hours. I knew when I opened it it would be impossible to put down. This the 5th book in the Rose Garden Investigation Series in the 2nd Rose Series. The addiction level of this series gets more intense with very book. The Characters: Rose, Neely-Kate, Joe, Jed, James, Violet and so many more. They bring you into their world to laugh, cry, and grow with them. When the book ends you are left with the biggest book hangover and the want for more Rose. If you haven’t started your journey with Rose yet, pick up Twenty-Eight and half Wishes, the very first Rose book in her first series. Pick up Family Jewels, book 1 of Rose Gardner Investigations. You will not regret it.

A++++++++. Denise Grover Swank continues to wow me with her amazing writing talent every time I read one of her books. I’ve read all the Rose Gardner and Neely Kate books and absolutely love them all. This book was packed with so much excitement and mystery. I laughed and cried many times while reading this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Wow! Read in 1 night ❤️. Oh what a tangled web we weave and there is plenty of deceiving! Criminal underworld, special prosecutor and visions predicting the future in a small “boring” town in Arkansas. One is running, one is chasing and of course one is dying; tie it up with a bow and a grand jury investigation! This series will pull you in as if you were in the car with Neely Kate, Rose and The Lady In Black‼️

Come Rain or Shine. Denise, you have done it again. WOW! To be ready for Come Rain or Shine, I started rereading with 28 1/2 Wishes. All Rose Gardner and Neely Kate books. The book came out and I still had to finish Up Shute Creek. What a struggle to not just jump in and read Come Rain or Shine. I finished Up Shute Creek. I have since read Come Rain or Shine 3 times and then I’ve gone back to read various scenes. I’m not ready to move on. Most of the major characters in this series with the exception of Mason came from physical or emotional abusive homes. They are from poverty, middle class and wealthy homes. Mauve must cringe when she realizes that a loving home does not guarantee that a child will be able to live in love and forgiveness. Masons vindictiveness is so hard to take. Rose once again is faced with decisions that she doesn’t want to make. Denise shows how family is made up of friendship as well as blood. I am anticipating to see how Joe, Neely Kate, Jed, Johna, Hardshaw, Kate, Bruce Wayne, Brox, Marshall, Carly, Margi, Whit and even Dena continue to be involved further in Rose’s adventures and life. Thank you Denise Grover Swank.

Wow!!. This series is just outstanding! Come Rain or Shine brings out every emotion I could possibly have. These characters have been through so much and come so far, and Denise makes me feel like I’m a part of their world. Buy this book and read this series immediately if you haven’t already! I can’t even wait for Dirty Money to find out what happens next! Please ever stop writing!

Can’t Get Enough. This book is wonderful, DGS did it again! I love all of the characters in this series so much. The only bad thing is having to wait for the next book to come out... But all good things are worth the wait.

One of the best in the series!. Congrats Denise! This is one of the best books in a terrific series. The characters have grown, matured, and developed unto multifaceted people with depth - we feel we know them, they are relatable. One of the best in the whole series. I have felt so much over the years as I’ve read through the stories in Rose Gardner’s world, and at times I’ve felt bereft and upset and disappointed at the turns her life had taken but I never thought I’d feel happy and sad at the same time and DGS has accomplished that. I’ve never written a review before, I am picky and critical, so believe me when I say, you want to read this book.

Another hit for DGS. Someway, somehow DGS manages to pull you in and keep you riveted with the story. I have never been a big fan of series. I usually get bored, but DGC cannot write this series fast enough.

Denise doesn’t disappoint!. I have read every book in this series along with the previews series and Neely Kate’s series. Journey of a lifetime!. Don’t read this book if you have to be somewhere! Seriously you won’t make work or an appointment, just call in sick for the day and get a new box of tissues from the start off you’ll need them. Fast paced, entertaining and if you’ve invested your time into Rose then you’ll not want to miss this leg of her journey.

Just wow. Honestly I can’t cope right now with the emotions the book has put me through !! I have been following the lives of rose and her friends from the beginning and just when I think there can’t be anymore twists and turns, come rain or shine happened !! Honestly I have no idea how Denise does it but she draws you in to her world so deep that you feel every emotion, that you are going through everything with them!! Honestly outstanding, I can’t wait for the next instalment !!

Constantly amazed. I have read every single book you have released about “Rose Gardener” or all the in between books giving insights into the different characters, and somehow every time I don’t think it will be able to be topped and yet each new book bring amazing new developments and relationships. I got over Joe a few books ago but in this book his character was exactly what it needed to me. The balance of the new news and the underworld was amazing and I love how you brought aspects of her old life such as the use of the old house and the chaos caused to almost pay tribute to her late mother. My absolute favourite part was the court seen or Skeeters last moments with both Rose and Violet (extra read). I would’ve liked to have heard a bit more from Mason at points because it may have been interesting to may hear from him in court or call Rose earlier on to tell her off for getting him of the case, or even better let him stay as the prosecutor/questioner, but overall I thought it was brilliant he was there! Absolutely amazing book can not wait until the next one! I saw it will be the last Neely Kate book, so what’s next? PS= do not read this book if you don’t have enough time on your hands, you won’t be able to put it down!❤️

Wow! What a Rollercoaster!!. Picking up a Rose or Neely Kate is calling one of your oldest friends for a good natter. This one was no different. Well I laughed I cried....a lot! It was the one I was excited about reading but scared at the same time. But oh my days it sooooo did not disappoint. It is absolutely AMAZEBALLS!! It’s a book that I will adore forever... ❤️❤️

Beyond amazing!. This book is beyond amazing! Epic. The most anticipated book of all the Rose books. And it was so worth waiting! A whirlwind of all the possible emotions. Yes, I admit I’ve been laughing, crying (more than anything else), upset, angry, shocked, surprised,yelling and more.. I’ve been preparing myself to anything happening in this book (that’s what I thought) but Denise proved it was not enough even though I knew it won’t be enough. She is the master of telling the stories of her character’s lives- yes, I believe they live their own lives and Denise puts it in to words to make it available for us to read! That’s a great TALENT! I love the way this story goes even if my silly heart disagrees.. I think there’s no need to say I couldn’t put it down even if I wanted to make it last longer. Haven’t read it yet? Just grab it and prepare yourself for a wild ride! And, don’t forget to read the bonus scene at the end of book! You’ll be amazed more!

Absolutely Loved It. When you love a story so much!!! When you love a series so much!!! When you fall for characters time and time again!!! When I story grabs you so, so much you go through a whole gamut of emotions, before, during and for a long time after, then you know you just read something very magical. The intense anxiety leading up to a new Rose Gardener release is real, especially for die-hard longtime fans... The build-up toward another visit to Henrietta reading more about Rose's life, living it with her, it's so powerful sleep is impossible. When you actually get the book and you hesitate to open it because you just don't know what's truly coming, even if in your head you might have some idea... Denise Grover Swank is such a masterful story-teller she always manages to throw in a few surprises, some good some not so good... But always worth it in the end... I am always still amazed to think after all these books it's only been a span of 18 months for Roses' life... I mean seriously this young woman has just grown from strength to strength, she is surrounded by people who love her and people who hate her just for being herself but I have a feeling the people who Love Rose will always outweigh those haters... Now I'm ready for the next chapter...

Could not put it down. I have been waiting for this next instalment, and devoured it in a couple of hours. Is it too soon to ask when the next one will be written?

Amazing roller coaster of emotions. This book was fantastically written and takes you on a journey of emotion which may not have been expected. Denise is so amazingly skilled at developing her characters in a way that is real and well thought out, so that when twists and turns inevitably occur you can see the characters motivations behind the choices. I read this for in the day and, as always cannot recommend Denise Grover Swank enough.

What good books are made of. I have faithfully read all the books in the series. When the book was released I waited 3 days before reading it. I wasn't sure if I could handle the (positive) emotional trauma it was bound to leave, like all the books before it. Love, secrets, mystery, betrayal, and heart break, all the things good books are made of. The book is laid out so well it plays like a movie in your mind. This book left me bawling and a sucker for punishment, I can't hardly wait for the next book!
