Meh. I was really excited about this book and maybe my expectations were too high considering it’s a wattpad book, but I was just severely disappointed with this one. I have no problem with Brett, he’s a decent character with problems and he was decently written. My problem came from Becca. While Brett is a stereotypical football player, he does have redeemable qualities and he seems like a feasible person. Becca seems very hard to believe. It’s not fair to compare this book to “To All The Boys”, but I feel like for the sake of understanding what went wrong this is inevitable. Laura Jean has other interests and traits besides books. Becca does not. Becca is too deep in trying to be quirky and bookish while this prevents her from being a feasible human. Her flaws aren’t flaws and humans have flaws. She wasn’t relatable and I was frankly quite annoyed with her character. If the book were from Brett’s perspective alone it would’ve been a solid 4/5, but they had to have the typical unbearable wattpad protagonist. It’s simply frustrating that the two perspectives were added because it’s poorly executed and Becca isn’t a great character. I probably wouldn’t recommend this book, unless cheesy romance is your thing. Even then, I think there are better books out there.

Opinion. LOVE THIS BOOK IT WAS SO WHOLESOME AND CUTE This was the first book i read to bringing me back to my romance reading phase and i think this is a good beginning book it had no smut but so fluff and cute<33

Couldn’t finish. This book was hard to read. Dialog felt forced and juvenile even for young adult. Not very immersive scenes. I kept trying to finish it but I just couldn’t. I got to 90 percent done and just couldn’t waste anymore of my time to read the end.

Ok. The characters weren’t all that developed but other than that it was an easy read.

Love. Such a cute book, an easy and fast read. Definitely satisfied my yearning to read something cute and wholesome. There were some cliche parts but honestly I loved it lol!

PLEASE READ❤️❤️. This book is personally one of my favorites!!!! I just love how I can relate to a character like Becca Hart. She is an introvert and she questions the whole meaning of love. Meanwhile, a boy she never thought she’d fall in love with, Brett Wells, shows her the true meaning of love and what it should be. Despite their stories behind closed doors, they both managed to stay above waters and lean on to each other. They both discovered that not everything is perfect as they expect it to be. And they realize to see the scars that were once open-wounds.

Loved It!. This book is a quick, easy, and fun book! I loved the storyline and the characters! The characters are well written and this isn’t your typical jock falls for nerd story! If you’re debating buying, do yourself a favor and do it! You won’t regret it!

Good book. Incredibly sweet and totally adorable. A bit childish but definitely cute. Glad I read it.

Decent. This book was pretty slow. I was in a slump before I started this and unfortunately this wasn’t the book to help me get out of it. Once I got to the middle it definitely started picking up and I really enjoyed the ended, I probably would not read it again but it definitely was cute!
