Hard to Love. I went back an forth between not really liking it to not being able to put it down. So mixed emotions for me. The characters are strong and brutal and the story is both one you want to back away from but you need to know what happens next.

Mind and Heart blown'!. I am catching up on W. Winters Hard to Love series because she is will be releasing book four soon! I am addicted ya'all. Hard to Love has so much angst, my stomach felt like there was a lead ball in it. Laura and Seth's story is still a mystery. There is a lot we learn about the dark life, but so many unanswered questions. Like what is the deal with Laura's dad and her life style before? What happened to the eight years lost with our beloved characters. And the things the side characters go through are heart wrenching. This is a love story about a couple who never stood a chance. The flame is barely alive until you reach the end. Then one flicker happens. The a couple of more. I am not sure what will happen with Laura and Seth. But I am ready for the next book and see what will happen next!

This book was not hard to love!. I was intrigued from the beginning, & as the story unfolded I was entranced with the tension, love, violence and heart break. I loved every minute of it! After everything Laura has been through, she is stronger than she realizes & I felt for her so many times. Seth is a dichotomy - he is powerful & ruthless when he needs to be in business but adores Laura. Their relationship is beautiful...or a beautiful disaster?! You decide, because I recommend this book! Can’t wait to read the next book since that was a cliffhanger ending! I received a copy of this ebook from the author for my honest review.

It’s ok. I feel like this book dragged on too much. It didn’t catch my interest until the last few pages, which made me purchase the next book.

Hard to Love. Seth’s story was worth the wait. Definitely one of my favorites from Willow Winters. So good that I read it in one day. I couldn’t put it down. Be advised that this is a 2 part book so it does end in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait until the next book comes out so I can continue with Seth and Laura’s story.

Riveting, Dangerously Sexy, Willow At Her Best. Hard To Love by Willow Winter is the riveting, dangerously sexy, emotional story of Seth and Laura. If you have read Willow’s Irresistible Attraction Series you met Seth King as Jase Cross’s right hand man and Laura Roth as Bethany’s best friend. You do not have to read the Irresistible Attraction Series prior to reading Hard To Love. This book is different from her other books set in the Merciless World. Hard To Love takes place mostly in the past prior to Seth joining forces with Jase and Laura meeting Bethany. Throughout the book, there is a lot of sexiness mixed with secrets and danger lurking around every page turned. I have loved all of Willow’s books set in their Merciless World but I have to say, this is one of my favorites. She has gone deeper into the mindset of her characters than in her previous books. All the raw emotions are mixed with steamy chemistry. Reading the back story of Seth and Laura gives a new perspective on who they are and why they feel the way they do. Hard To Love does end with a cliffhanger that will be continued in Desperate To Touch. Hard To Love is a MUST READ addition to your personal library. A Must Read. I’ve always loved Willow’s writing and with each book it keeps getting better. This story just blew me away! I loved Seth and Laura! I’m so excited to see where their relationship goes! I can’t wait to read book 2! Highly recommend!

Must Read!!. Amazing!! Absolutely perfection!! Couldn’t get enough of Seth!! This is the type of book that leaves the reader wanting more because it is so well done!! I’ve loved reading each and every part of this series seeing how the characters came to be. This is a stand alone it’s Seth and Laura’s story and you don’t want to miss it!! Must read!!

Mind blown. Oh. My. Freaking. Gosh. I went into this prepared and thinking I would be okay. That did not happen. I was absolutely and totally knocked on my arse and proven utterly wrong. If you think you are ready, you are not. This is Seth and Laura’s continuation and it will rip you apart. There are so many twists that will make your heart stop. I wanted to cry, yell and throw my kindle. There is suspense, angst, secrets, lies, heartache, heart wrenching emotions and twists that will blow your mind. 🤯🤯🤯 I had to take a few days before writing this and I am still having side effects. Just when you think, “okay, I got this,” another twist is thrown at you. You are left stunned and thinking, “I did NOT see that coming!” This deserves more than five stars and is the best Willow book to date. I am absolutely taken in by Seth. Easy to Fall cannot come fast enough. Hold on to your seats, it’s going to be a bumpy and emotional ride. “Her eyes light up, her lips turn up, everything goes up and everything is better when I call her babygirl.” My favorite quote and it sums up Seth and Laura’ relationship perfectly: ““I’ve always loved him and even though...” I trail off because I don’t even know where to start. Our love story isn’t a straight line, it’s chaotic scribbles on a page. It’s f***ed up. “I need him right now. Why would you question that?””

Babygirl. I can't say enough about Hard to Love by Willow Winters. I love how Willow introduces us to various characters throughout her books and then tells their stories through follow up books. It was fun connecting the dots of what I knew about Seth and Laura from past books, and loved the "AH HA" moments that were revealed through this book. So many questions that were in my head of HOW Seth and Laura knew each other, and WHERE the large sum of many came from Laura gave Bethany. I felt like a detective making the connections. Hard to Love was intense. The back and forth of Seth and Laura's banter, stubbornness, strength, love and commitment towards and for each other was heart wrenching. I couldn't get enough of them and I want MORE!!!!! I am a die hard fan of alpha males that can be tamed by a strong, loving woman. That is what Seth and Laura represent in my eyes. It is their love for one another that is admirable, but also the cause for so much struggle, and pain. The battle between what one wants but also of what one needs for survival. This is by far one of my favorite couples to date by Willow Winters. I can't get enough of Seth and Laura and am desperately waiting for Desperate to Touch to come out.

Buyer Beware!. So frustrating when it is not made clear by the author how many books are in a series when you begin reading them! In the Section “Also By W Winters” in the 1st and 2nd books Under Seth’s Story it only lists 3 books the 3rd being “Tempted to Kiss”. So I thought that was the last book....purchased all 3 Only to find out that there is in fact another. This WAS listed in the “Also By W Winters but in the 3rd book Not the 1st or 2nd. Marketing gimmick or not? I will NOT be purchasing another book by this author unless something changes. Seriously when book one is published ALL should be listed as the author knows at that time how many books in that specific series, especially when there are cliffhangers. I try to pay close attention and normally will only purchase once all are out. I really feel misled (whether intentional or not). So just an FYI....there are definitely at LEAST 4 books. Lastly this series spans almost a year....Ridiculous!

A gripping page turner. W. Winters did it again. She grabs your heart and takes it for a ride. Seth and Laura’s story is a wild ride that shows you of love and heartache. “I love the way she looks at me. No one’s ever looked at me like that before. No one other than her.” Seth and Laura story is a gripping, thrilling page turner. It was a story I couldn’t wait to read but it also was nothing that I expected. It was so much more.

Amazing!. Oh my gosh!!! I absolutely love this series! This is Seth and Laura’s story. There’s so much love, tragedy, pain, and absolute anguish in their story. If you’re looking for a love story mixed in with a thriller/suspense story, this entire series is for you. With Willow’s writing, you’re captivated and can’t put the book down. The stories draw you in, and it feels as if you’re right there with these characters. I highly recommend the ENTIRE series! I’ve never read books so fast.

Willow hit a home-run and I never expected a plot like this to divulge on Seth King’s past and the connection it holds to his present circumstance. 3 words (I Love you) to mend or tear apart every relationship become the coin toss of Seth and Laura’s fate. These two will take you by the hand, lead you in blindly and toss you to the side, you won’t even have time to blink. Seth is my new obsession. Never expected this story to hit me so hard! Become a Willow fan!. Laura and Seth’s story begins at their beginning and shows how much Seth truly loves her. Yet it is obvious he can’t tell her. While Laura wants to stay with Seth, danger invades their world. Laura was raised in a world of crime and murder and wants out, all the while knowing Seth won’t leave. And there is a decision that changes their lives forever. It is always exciting to begin one of Willow Winter’s books. I always anticipate her characters anger, mystery, the sexual chemistry between them, and you can always count on the violence to break them free. Yet with each storytelling, Willow has a way of making each story different and Hard to Love is no exception. A must read for all of Wilow’s fans.

Messy. The story here is all over the place, trying to be lots of things, as a result not quite being anything. It is strung out over four books, which I bought hoping there would be a point where the strands were pulled together to make satisfying sense. But it was just messy. Wish I hadn’t been sucked in & had saved my money!

My new favourite. I'm not sure that there is a review that will do this book justice but I'm going to give it my best shot. Holy Sh*t is literally the only thing I could say after I finished this book. I spent much of it with my heart racing. Seth and Laura’s story is FIRE! On so many different levels! Seth and Laura’s story starts before the Merciless series in a different city but eventually in the most heart-racing way we end up back in the Cross brothers world. It ends with a cliffhanger that will piss you off but also love all at the same time. It's definitely a binge-worthy read you won't want to put it down. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!! I LOVE Daniel Cross (Possessive) he will always be my number one favourite book boyfriend before everyone else... But Seth... He is something special.

Good read. I loved the characters and knew when reading other books in the series there was something between Seth and Laura. I enjoyed this book and preordered the next : )
