Wow. This is the best book I’ve read since getting back into reading in my adult life. I had no idea how the author would connect the beginning to the end, and let me tell you it was nothing like I thought. This was the first book I read by Rebecca Serle but it definitely won’t be the last!

Not that great. I was excited to read this book because it sounded right up my alley. I was disappointed not only throughout the entire novel but especially at the ending. Not a great plot and not well written either. The main character is self centered and boring.

Loved it!!. From the beginning I was pulled into this story of true friendship, love and loss. I could not put the book down. I like that a book that is enjoyable and also pulls at the heart strings. It was well written.

Quite literally one of the worst books ever. I won’t even waste my time writing a coherent review because this book was not. It was incredibly ridiculous…the ending was just…WHAT. I will give it to the author, the idea for this was amazing, it really does sound like a phenomenal story on the blip on the back of the book, but dear god if I could forget this book, I would.

5 star. Honestly, great, emotional, messy. Wow.

Quick poignant read. I really enjoyed this book. It was a gentle reminder to stay present and enjoy the time you have with the people you love!

Spontaneous, over easy. She captured her readers in a way that only you would know. If i knew what my life would be like in 5 years, to have that i would. the book made me question myself about the five years of my life but it also made me quite frenetic. If it helped me get out of a book slump maybe it will help you too.

Unexpected. Loved it!. I love the way this book is written. The way things are worded and the way she forms sentences. The story was unexpected had me looking forward to reading more each day. It’s deep. Highly recommend.

Bait and switch. Spoiler alert here:. Spoiler alert. This book is about someone dying a painful graphic death from cancer. Not cool. Readers should know in advance what they are choosing to read. Tragic death holds trauma. Do not surprise readers with that. Book description is not accurate. It’s a good book but I didn’t appreciate that.

Ehh…. I feel like I read for three years to get to what I was waiting for and then nothing happened… far fetched and just bleh…

Must read. Couldn’t put it down. Not what you expect

Not what i thought was going to happen. Before buying the book and reading the description, in my mind I thought it was going to elaborate on her waking up in a different life - that, that was going to be what the book was about . But i never would have guessed how the actual story plays out & what happens.

Real friendship. Get tissues for this book.. you’ll need them. I read it in one sitting.. this book reminded me what friendship is really about. So happy I read it

Binge Read!. The fastest I’ve ever read a book! I devoured this book in ONE DAY, I have two little kids so that’s a nearly impossible task. The story, the characters…everything. Just such phenomenal story telling.

Delicious! I’m sad it’s over. I didn’t want it to end.. I could feel Danni’s love for Bella and her heartbreak.

Really great read that pulls you in. At first I thought this would be any other romance novel but it is anything but. Brings you in to a really powerful story about friendship and letting go of trying to control your future

Quick read. Really enjoyed this story and how one particular scene can mean two different things based one where you are in your life at that time. Finished in just a couple of days while traveling. Definitely recommend

predictable, but not.. I throughly enjoyed the emotion expressed through the beautiful writing in this book, yet I found it to be a bit short and slightly predictable. The ending was expected, but I think the character development was a bit underdeveloped. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick book to get you out of a reading slump, this is for you.

Unexpected emotional twist!. At first I was upset at the twist this story had but then fell in love with how emotional and sweet this ended up being. I started reading not knowing it was going to be such a sad story but I did smile in the end with the way things fell into place. Ending being about friendships truly made this so great. Her friendship with Bella was beautiful and Bella cared so much for her. I would a sequel and to know where and with who Dannie ends up. Dr. Shaw or maybe Aaron!?!

Gave me tears and joy. It’s an amazing book with the lovely New York City in it. I learned so much from these two amazing best friends. I cried a lot but also laughed and made me realized of so many things we don’t think about because of ours rush speed lives. Please read it, it will give you something special too.

Amazing, I have no words. When I fall for. Book, I fall for it hard. This is what happened here in less than 24 hours I finished this book. I laughed, I cried, and I understood so much that I can’t believe it’s over. I’m so glad I read it and hope many more people read it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Never cried like this. This isn’t your run of the mill romance. This book features a lawyer and her relationships with her partners and best friend. This book will make you cry, and hug your friends even tighter. Don’t read if you want a happy book, or even a romance story

Decent but nothing special. It is a nice story of friendship and grief. I picked up the book thinking that it will be deep in ways that will leave a lasting impression on me, but it didn’t.

Hmmm. Yet another story about the privileged and pathetic class. Oh dear let’s weep over a glass of barolo as we feast on the name dropping restaurant fare. Shall it be Paris or Morocco while we celebrate greed as a trait to aspire to. A clueless angst ridden story with shallow characters who have no idea what loss is that floods the lives of people on a daily basis. Perhaps the author may benefit by living in a country where the children make their home in garbage dumps or where families survive in toxic environments or constant wars. OMG tragedy, the wine glass is empty…give me a break E

Not at all what I was expecting!. This book was not what I was expecting! People that know me know I like to plan life like a 5 year plan like the main character of the book Dannie. I ‘m a numbers girl. But life is not like that as we all know. This book was refreshing! It is about the importance and significance of friendships. We often take for granted our friends in our lives. This book reminds us of what is really important. Great book for an easy read!
