wow!!!. I was laughing and crying. this book was so good. i am sure i got stares as this was my read on the commute home. i can’t wait for the next chapter. It left me wanting for more. i am not saying too much because i don’t want to give anything away. a must read. Brava

The Playboy. Can we just start with the ending??? I’m still sitting here with my jaw on the floor. I mean it just can’t be, it’s not possible... these are thoughts reeling through my mind. Of course if we rewind now to the beginning I pretty much fell for Oracle instantly and maybe even a little Jackson if I’m totally honest. The chemistry between Piper and Oracle is palpable. Oracle and Piper take us on an intriguing, steamy, and mystery filled ride. One where you just can’t put the book down and are left needing so much more. This is a must read!!!

Ends on a cliffhanger, but it is sooooo good!. Sweet, check. Steam, check. Intrigue, check. Told from opposing POV’s, The Playboy is book 1 in The Players Series. Oracle is a Hollywood movie star and Piper is an author. She’s in LA for a girls trip and they initially meet and instantly connect in a cupcake shop while he is in disguise. The chemistry between them is off the richter and unfortunately, he leaves without getting her phone number. When they meet again later that night, he’s himself and she is not impressed with the Hollywood heartthrob. Instead, she leaves him hanging and he’s even more intrigued. Circumstances bring them back together again and as they get to know one another, their walls come tumbling down. As their story unfolds, we learn that not only is Oracle a very private person, but he also has secrets he wishes to remain hidden. When he thinks that Piper has ulterior motives to betray him, he leaves again in the coldest way possible. This book sucked me in from the first chapter. It is a fast paced story, with plenty of sweet and steamy moments. The characters have depth that I haven’t seen before with Ms. Cooper’s characters. I generally hate cliffhangers, but this book is so well written, that it is worth it. I’m anxiously awaiting Secrets of the Playboy to find out what happens next. Hollywood guy meets girl next door. Wow, J. S. Cooper! I loved it! What an ending!!! No spoilers here. Definitely left with a few questions, I so want to know the answers to. I read an advanced reading copy of this book! In this book you’ll find there’s humor, romance, hot & steamy passion, blossoming love, drama, lies, secrets and few mysteries. A definite book to add to your to be read list! Can’t wait for the next book!

HOT. This is an amazing book!! I loved the characters and how a movie star could meet just an ordinary girl that didn’t throw herself all over him. I loved that she didn’t take any crap off of him because he was famous.

Romance with a twist!. JS Cooper’s ‘The Playboy’ is a fun, modern romance with an unexpected twist. Piper is on typical girls weekend with her BFF Alexa in hopes of finding some fun and excitement. The last thing she expects to find is herself wrapped up in the drama of hot mega star Zach, aka Oracle Lion and his best friend and equally attractive star Jackson. Piper hates Oracle and his ego the second she meets him in a nightclub and he has never had to try to gain attention from a woman in his life, so he is definatley intregued by Piper. The two of them are left alone while thier best friends go off for the evening and lets just say that there is some connection that neither of them can deny. You will find yourself smiling and giggling while reading and then be totally surprised when you are hit with the plot twist; this is not just a romance book!! There is a suspense twist thrown in here too!! I was like ?!?! I did not even see it coming! I loved this story so far and CAN NOT wait for the second half of it to come out. I read this book in one sitting and promise you will love it. What is better than an amazing and fun romance? One with a twist!

Wow!. The playboy is about a celebrity hot shot and a regular girl and the attraction between the two. It was hot and steamy with romance and laughter built in. A quick easy read that I did not want to put down. All I can say is, is the next book out yet?

This playboy wasn’t playing around!!. The Playboy wasn’t playing around! This book was steamy hott with a touch of mystery. Zach Houston, aka Hollywood heartthrob Oracle Lion, and his buddy Jackson hit the big time but they also left behind some secrets along the way. Piper Meadows is an aspiring writer trying to catch her big break. She and her best friend Alexa take a mini vacation to L. A. and meet the two famous hotties in a bar. Piper can’t believe that THE Oracle Lion is totally in to her. I mean how many people dream of meeting their Hollywood crush? I loved that she didn’t let a Hollywood bigwig think he could walk all over her. While the two make a connection, Piper and Alexa also make a connection to Houston, Jackson, and a missing person. Cooper does a great job of dropping clues to the mystery of the missing person. Leaving us to question the hero’s character. The book does leave us on a major cliffhanger but luckily the next book is soon to be released. Looking forward to some much needed answers.

REALLY. I could not put this down. Woke up at 2:30 AM and had to stop to get ready for work at 5:50. As soon as I was off I had to finish it. Will be impatiently waiting for the sequel to come out! Love reading this authors books!

Playboy captured my attention from page 1. Playboy captured my attention from page 1, and held me there throughout , then intrigued me when Piper stubbles upon some very interesting yet damning information, and doesn’t know what to do with it, or how to proceed, after everything. I love, love, love Zach and Pipers chemistry...she is not your typical Cali girl, and she definitely isn’t falling all over Zach aka Oracle Lion, just because of who he is. I cannot wait for book two. J.S. Cooper you have me biting my nails awaiting, after that monster of a cliffhanger..

Does the Hollywood star have a secret to hide?. Piper and her friend Alexa travelled from San Francisco to LA for a girls weekend. Piper had a funny encounter in a cupcake store with a disguised Oracle. Oracle/Zach is a handsome, egotistical Hollywood star and Piper writes historical romances. That evening Piper and Alexa head to a club where they meet Oracle and his childhood friend Jackson, now a rock star. After a lot of bantering and talking Oracle and Piper leave together and just talk. The next day they end up together and hook up after getting to know more about each other but Oracle storms off when he mistakenly thinks Piper is a journalist. Alexa then informs Piper that she thinks Jackson and Oracle are involved with the disappearance years ago of Radley, heir to billions. Will Oracle and Piper clear up their misunderstandings and have a future together? What is the secret that Jackson and Oracle share about Radley’s disappearance? I liked the book until the point where I realized it was a cliffhanger with questions left to be answered. The characters were well developed and the story was entertaining. Hopefully the mystery will be solved in the next book and we won’t have to wait too long. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

just ok. I typically find these books fun and entertaining for a quick read. However, it seems as though the female leads get more ditzy and airheaded with every book, and this is no exception. The dialogue between Zach and Piper comes off as cheesy and unrealistic (it often becomes down right painful to read) more than fun and flirty. Dante is the only recent book I thought was really well done and looking forward to the sequel!

Every girl’s fantasy!. Ordinary girl meets Hollywood hunk makes for an intriguing,sexy, steamy romance with a suspenseful twist. Once again J.S. Cooper does not disappoint.

Must read!. Omg! She did it again! I loved this book! The ending!! Omg the ending!! My jaw is on the floor! Don’t want to spoil anything. But WOW. I am left with some questions. I can’t wait for the next one! This is a must read! It’s got it all! Humor, mystery, romance, drama. Love love love!

Cliffhanger. This book ends with you on the edge of the seat, and I need answers! These characters are on fire for each other. They have undeniable chemist but can't seem to stop talking in riddles. Part of me wanted them just to spit out what's on their minds, but good things come to those who wait, and I'm hooked with these two. Zach, aka Oracle, is a fit, cocky actor with a secret and a life that isn't bringing him much joy lately. Piper is a goofy, corky romance author who's love life is in a rut. A fun girl's weekend is just what the doctor order before finishing up her new book. She's quite secretive with the details of the book to Zach, and Zach is well quite secretive in general. These two are quite a match and exactly what they both need!

The Playboy. Omg where do I start! Such a freakin awesome book. It caught my attention with the front cover! This book is funny, steamy and sexy! It started off with a famous actor dressing different so no one knows who he is at a cupcake store. =) then they meet up again at a night club. The attraction is firework. I love the way JS Cooper writes because one chapter is how Piper thinks and next is how Oracle “Zach” thinks. The teasing between them is so funny. A must read book.

Wow. I love reading every minute of this! I don’t want to give anything away! The suspense is killing me I need to read the next instalment to find out who, what, when, why and how! My heart raced through the entire book! I love Piper and Zach (aka Ocean) if they were real people they would be made for each other!

Sexy romance with a touch of mystery. I received an early copy for an honest review. I would rate this 4.5 star just because of the cliffhanger however we only have to wait 3 weeks so not too long. I really enjoyed this book from page 1. The characters were instantly engaging, including the secondary characters, with plenty if chemistry and a touch of mystery. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the sequel.
