Loved this story!. When a child is bounced around from one foster home to another, they learn not to get attached. If they do, they know it will just get taken away from them. Chase had learned that lesson well but Douglas Rawlings snuck in under his guard. The ranch was the only place he considered home. Bull riding is the only thing that Chase thought he was good for so when they needed money to keep the ranch running after Douglas passed away, that’s what Chase did. Until the last bull. Now he’s on the ranch trying to heal so he could get back to it but everyone is trying to convince him to give it up. Hailey was a single widow trying to raise her young son., AJ. Her husband Adam was on the bull riding tour & was Chase’s best friend before his ride when bad. When he didn’t survive, she was left alone. Now, she’s accepted the job as business manager for Redemption Ranch. The job is perfect for her & comes with housing for her & AJ. There’s only one thing wrong. Chase is staying there while he recuperates. As they spend time together, the chemistry between them grows & AJ begins to get attached to him. Hailey can’t go through losing another man in her life & Chase won’t consider quitting. Where does this leave them? Ms. Ryder does an excellent job crafting characters that engage your emotions, especially your sympathies. Chase’s childhood was terrible & he really didn’t trust anyone for a long time. He also felt responsible for Adam’s death since he’d followed Chase on the circuit. Hailey’s concern is for AJ & the attachment he is forming with Chase. She doesn’t want him to feel that loss again. I really enjoyed the journey that they went on to find their happily ever after. They both had their ups & downs & disappointments. This was a great follow up to Tara & West. I can’t wait for Ty’s story!

Pulls at Your Heartstrings. An incredible tale that pulls at all the heartstrings! It even touched my soul. This is one of those stories that you’ll laugh and cry right along with the characters. Chase needed to overcome the hurt of his past, and Hailey the pain caused by him. The development of the characters in this book is superb. Nothing better than the love of a cowboy. Very satisfying story and can hardly wait to read more books by this author. I received an advanced reader copy from the publisher in exchange for my volunteer review.

Hot Cowboy. Coming Home to the Cowboy by Megan Ryder is book number two in the Redemption Ranch series. This is Chase Summers and Hailey Spencer's story. Hailey was married to Chase’s best friend who died in an accident four years ago. Chase has always felt an attraction to Hailey but he feels it would be disloyal to his best friend’s memory. I enjoyed the interactions between them. They need to let their guards down and take a chance on love and happiness. Hot bull-rider Champion, sweet romance, and intense chemistry what’s not to love! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Coming Home to the Cowboy. Really liked the story.So many emotions. Fear, happiness, Love, (Lots of Love- between brothers, within family) anger, excitement, and much more. Nice small town atmosphere where everyone knows everyone. Loved the Ranch and what it stood for. The story only gets better as I read the chapters. So much going on. I Thank you. I recommend also.

Coming Home to the Cowboy. I received a complimentary copy of this book and I also purchased a copy (I absolutely ADORED this!) I couldn't read this one fast enough but at the same time, I had to re-read certain parts. I was completely enchanted with Chase and Hailey. Chase, is a former foster child, who inherited one quarter of a ranch that became Redemption Ranch. He shares ownership with his two other foster "brothers" and the former owner's daughter. He is a bull rider and would send money home to help with the expenses of running the ranch. He became severely injured after riding a bull. The bull took exception to the 8 second ride and made a pin cushion of Chase. He comes home to heal before going back out on the road again. Hailey and her 6 year old son, A. J., come back to Granite Junction to help her sick mother. She takes a job with Tara (from the first book in the series) at the ranch. She is afraid to run into Chase as she and her deceased husband, Adam, were best friends with Chase growing up. The events of Hailey and Chase becoming involved is such a delightful story. Chase has never spent time around children and he has a lot to learn especially with the adorable A. J. The ups and downs of their journey is one that shouldn't be missed. I adored seeing West and Tara from the first book, along with Ty (the third foster brother) and Emma the waitress and Cam a local rancher. I so hope Cam and Emma get together in a book in this series (HINT, HINT!!!) Having a dual POV really helped me to fully understand Chase. Being a foster child and his mental roadblocks, would have been difficult without having insight to his thoughts. It really helped me to understand him and his need to ride bulls. Hailey being a widow of a bull rider and her position was such a heart-breaker. I so look forward to more of this series. I can't get enough! I highly recommend anyone over the age of 18 to read this. There are some scenes that may offend some but those really are not written in an erotica manner. While you could read this without reading the first book, I highly recommend reading A Cowboy's Salvation because it really is a great book that leads you into this one with greater understand.

Coming home to love!. Wow, what a fantastic addition to the Redemption Ranch series. I loved it! A must read. Chase, one of the foster brothers, had been in so many foster homes as a youth that he didn’t think he’d ever have a real home or anyone could ever love him. Hailey, Chase and Adam grew up together and were best friends. Hailey and Adam married and had a son, A.J. Adam followed Chase on the bull riding circuit, but one disastrous ride left Hailey a widow with a 2 yr old son to raise. She comes back to Granite Falls and gets a job at the ranch but dreads coming face to face with Chase. A well written storyline and wonderful, intriguing and emotional characters. There’s so many emotions in this story. Can’t wait for the next one! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great return to Redemption. I love Redemption Ranch so much!!! I was so curious about Chase in the first book. Why is always on the road, why does he seem to avoid home, who is going to be the woman to make him put down roots? Everything about Chase's story made my heart ache and want to wrap him up in a hug. I can't think of a woman more perfect for him than Hailey. I wanted to wrap her up in all the hugs too. She's been through so much by the time she takes on the job at Redemption Ranch that I wanted to cry for her. I loved Chase and Hailey's story. Their friendship from their teen years and the growth they experience as they get to know each other again as adults was beautiful. I was rooting for them from the very beginning. I love this family and I can't wait to return to Redemption Ranch.

Cowboy Romance. Hailey and Chase were attracted to each other, but she’s his best friend’s widow and she has a young son to think about. Her father was a jerk at first putting her down and offering her a teller position at his bank when she has a CPA. I’m a CPA and work for a bank would have been insulted too. I love that used her business skills to partnered with Tara to help get her guest ranch up and running. Her son A.J. was precocious and a handful. Chase dealt with lot in foster care, so kept running the rodeo circuit afraid to put down roots. It’s scary how dangerous that sport is. There were plenty of sexy scenes in this cowboy romance.

Good emotional read. This was a very emotional read. The loss of a husband, the loss of a best friend, the loss of a father was sad but the potential for even more loss in one life was even sadder. This book had me in tears many times throughout it & that is what I look for in an author. Can they make me feel the emotions happening to the characters & author Megan Ryder did just that.I enjoyed the dynamics of the relationship between Chase & his brothers as well as with Hailey. I loved his determination to not give up on the abused horse. The character of little A.J. was also a sweet compliment to this story. As per my usual I started a new to me series a book in so I’ll be looking for book 1. Definitely recommend. I received this book from the publisher through Bookfunnel for an honest review.

This pair absolutely broke my heart. This pair absolutely broke my heart. They didn’t take me to quite the same place of deep angst as Tara and West, and for that I’m a little grateful. Chase has never found a place where he “sticks”. A lifetime in the foster system being bounced from placement to placement meant he never really had someplace to call home. Until Redemption Ranch. The still-looming threat of their unpaid bills has Chase doing everything in his power to earn money to make sure they keep the ranch. Hailey lost her husband – Chase’s best friend – to the rodeo. The pair have always had a connection and now she’s worried that history will repeat itself. But hers isn’t the only heart involved anymore, there’s her six-year-old son who’s already lost one father to consider too. It bears repeating: Chase and Hailey broke my heart. They feel so much for one another that it resonates off the page. But they’re both fighting so hard against all those emotions. I was so worried that they’d wouldn’t find their way through all the baggage keeping them apart to find their forever.
