Love my first TT by Jen!. Frozen + Twisted Tale (why, yes, I AM Captain Obvious today) My synopsis for this one will be shorter than usual. Take what you know about Frozen. Only this time Anna had to go away after THAT fateful night. And nobody except Elsa and Anna’s parents know. And we all know what happens to THEM! Look, I’m old. I prefer Alice in Wonderland, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and all the classic Disney movies. Anything past Toy Story or Bug’s Life and I probably haven’t seen it. But I have nephews and have been dragged to movies. Frozen (and Zootopia) are the two I have liked. And that durn “Let it Go” is SO catchy! I really enjoy the Twisted Tale series as a lover of retellings! This is my first one by Jen, and I feel she was phenomenal in keeping true to what the original characters were about. She also was amazing at character-building, as I loathed the villains here far more than I did originally! Looking forward to reading her other TTs and Fairy Tale Reform School series! Buy this for yourself or any other retelling fanatics! And if you’re twisted—well, perfect!

Amazing book. Better than the movie. Very interesting plot. I will definitely read again. I am twelve and as a fan of Frozen, this book is awesome. This book is honestly almost as good as Harry Potter and I wish they made movies for the twisted tales books.

Five Stars. I have always loved Frozen as a movie and story. When I read this book, this twisted tale, I saw it in a whole new light. It is great that you can compare it to the real thing and notice something different about the story. I read the book in two days because I couldn’t stop reading it. I really recommend it.

😍. Such an interesting take on the original story! Thing where just so easy to relate to the Disney tale while still being its own story.

A knock-off fan fiction that couldn’t even come up with original dialogue.. I’ve read several books in this series, but this is the first I’ve read by this author and I’m disappointed enough that I don’t think I want to read the other one. This book has a simple “twist” that only seems to serve the purpose of having Anna grow up happy and without the isolation and neglect from the original film...everything else is EXACTLY the same. Even the dialogue. Exactly the same. Villains, plot points, conclusion, and did i mention the dialogue...exactly the same as the movie. At a few points in time I had to check to see if I hadn’t switched to my daughter’s junior novelization of Frozen. For a “twisted tale” the twist was not nearly as compelling as the other books and the whole thing was completely not original and rather boring when you’re not expecting to read the original plot of Frozen. In the end, I wish I had saved the money I spent on this book on anything else to read, because this was so disappointing.

Could have been better.... I was so excited when this book finally arrived at my house... but as I was reading it I was kind of disappointed. The start of the book was amazing, so many details and I loved it! but as it went on, they kept using some of the same parts from the movie. Because the chances of the exact same thing happening are very slim. Luckily the other twisted tale books have different authors. I think it’s a pretty good book but again it could have been better

An interesting Twist. I’ve heard rumors that it would be a few changes from the movie, but after reading this I have to say I’m very impressed. No matter what happened in this story Anna and Elsa found each other in the end. I really love the original Frozen story, but this gave Elsa a bit more action to find the truth about her forgotten sister. So many was to tell a story and that’s what makes them so interesting. Sometimes you can never predict how they’re going to turn out. I’d recommend this book to any Frozen fan. 10/10

The Movie, Reproduced. Pretty much the same story with minor changes that didn’t alter dialogue from the film. Not really a twisted tale at all.

Such an amazing book and fell in love with it. I absolutely adore this book. This is a great choice fractured fairy tale or Disney fans. I saw this on amazon while looking for a book and found this and decided to buy it (probably because my obsession is frozen) and read it. The author really does blend things from the original movies to plot that makes it a twisted tale. This Christmas I plan to ask for the whole series definitely a good buy.

Connected to the Movie. I thought it was very well written and had many of the quotes and actions from the movie into the book. The story was done fantastically with the bad guy still being Hans. All in all it was really good.
