Masked Prey. This is so bad I could not read it. Nazi`s , white power? Same old tired BS try Antifa at least it would be something new.

Very disappointed in Stanford. I didn’t even read this book, but knowing this book came out in 2020 and seeing the reviews about how he incorporated politics into this novel, I won’t even bother wasting my time reading it.

Masked Prey. Sandford still has good stories to tell. This one wasn’t as good as some of the others. The outcome was predictable.

Relevant. A little slow in the beginning, but then it’s off to the races!

Not his usual. Besides the fact I’ve always enjoyed his books, there is no reason I completed reading the entire book.

Not good. Disappointing. This book just was not interesting in any dimension. Davenport should go back to Minnesota and solve violent crimes with the old cast of characters.

We get enough politics in real life. I look forward to any John Sanford books and have read all of the Prey and Virgil books. This one, Masked Prey doesn’t compare to any others. I don’t like politics and don’t want to read about them. I’m only halfway through this book and keep waiting for it to get better. I’m still waiting. If you don’t like politics, don’t bother reading this one.

Masked prey. Enjoyed this. Have read many of Sanford’s books and have liked most of them. This one was one of the best. Lucas and his friends are fun. Interesting story.

Masked Prey. After reading the last Prey book, I thought that Lucas was finally going to have to hang it up so I was very excited that he's continuing. The way this book ended left me feeling disappointed. This isn't the Davenport that I have come to love so much. That being said, I did like most of this book and I'm hoping that the next one is back to the Lucas of old

Awesome, as usual. If you’ve followed the Reacher series then this will be exactly as satisfying as all the previous books. YES!! Buy this book!

Masked Prey. Another entertaining novel by John Sanford

Can we leave out politics?. OMG Sandford has joined the group of some of my favorite authors who feel it is important to express their political views. I made it as far as page 249 and had to stop reading. I’ve read all the Davenport and Flowers novels and this experience has been very disappointing. I wish I could get my money back. From now on I’m going to read the reviews to make sure I’m not reading a political statement.

Nazis. If you believe in white supremacy, neo-nazis, and they are about to take over the world you’ll probably like this. I found it unreadable and a bunch of crap.

Engaging. A little hard to keep who’s who straight but it ties together well in the end.

Masked Prey. I find it hard to believe that John Sandford wrote this book. I have read very novel ever written by Sandford and always hated to see them end. I could not wait for this one to be over. It was a waste of time and money. Maybe John Sandford was hacked and a college freshman wrote this using his name. Horrible book...maybe time for Lucas and Sandford both to retire.

Love the twists, dead ends and turns.. Lucas Davenport never disappoints. His character keep you wanting him to get the bad guys!

Not the strongest entry. This isn’t the strongest entry in the Prey series, but even so, it’s a solid story.

Not his best work. Lucas is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time and I have loved the Prey and the authors other series but this was the first one where the politics of the author really interferes with the plot/story. It felt like an anti-conservative diatribe as much as a fictional story. It felt like a political commercial. His usual amazing plot seemed mailed in, and seemed only to service his politics, not the story.

Great. Absolutely awesome as usual. Keeps you up for days.

Still A Strong Series. I’ve been an avid reader of the Prey series for some time. There’s a good chance I’m just not sophisticated enough to catch it, but I haven’t grown weary of formulaic writing that seems to plague others in this genre. The Davenport character has matured and is still believable. If you liked the other Prey books, you’ll like this one.
