Slow start but improved. 2nd book in Emily Swanson series. Difficult to stay focused while reading the 1st part of the book but the 2nd half was interesting and made to story worthwhile after all.

Excellent, exciting, thrilling!!!. Couldn’t put this one down, so many twists and turns I just loved it! Emily and Jerome had their hands full on this holiday!

Fascinating read. To begin with, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this book and had every intention of putting it down but I found myself saying one more chapter and before I knew it, I was completely caught up in the book. Well worth your time!

It keeps you hooked. A group of people get together in their search for healing just to wake monsters from the past and unmask unexpected villains. A plot that shows that something good is also capable of doing harm when used in the wrong way and by the wrong people.

Murder case n Mind. Emily Swanson is a smart funny amateur sleuth; she battles her own demons as she solves crimes with her best friend Jerome who has his own problems. Yet he always manages to find the courage to pull Emily out of the proverbial fire just in the nick of time. Fun and interesting to the end. Keeps me rooting for the duo without getting bored. Great read. I will recommend this book and author to my friends and family.

Doesn’t disappoint.. I was looking forward to reading this second instalment in the Emily Swanson books & I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint as some follow up novels can.

Mind For Murder. This is the first book l have read from M J Richards, and this is the second of a series: The Emily Swanson Series. Emily decides that she need a break, a weekend away, taking her dearest friend Jerome with her. Without letting Jerome know what the weekend is going to be about, they travel to the wilds of the New Forest. In the depths of the forest is a retreat, no phones, no WiFi and no meat. Who knew that you could be so isolated within the UK. A glossary at the back, UK/US l didn’t really think was necessary? Really? Still, I mostly enjoyed this book and will certainly look for further title by this author. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another page turner from beginning to end Malcolm Richards heroines are brave,gutsy,independent, and mindful of how jumping in feet first will affect all of those around them including themselves. Emily Swansea is almost a superhero facing possibly severe consequences on a daily basis almost costing her own sanity. Fabulous book i was so enthralled I read it in a day.
