Homework needed!. Certainly a cosy mystery, but would have expected the author to know that British police do not carry firearms. There is a specialised unit for that. Also the name “Wilfordshire” would work for an English county, but no town in the British Isles would have “shire” on the end of it. Wilford on Sea would have been a better bet!
