Refreshing Breeze. Focuses on the basics of democracy and leadership. We need to refocus on character as the basis of leadership- honesty, integrity, others and the mission before self, compassion, courage, respect for others. Also the leaders need for listening, tolerating constructive feedback, improving morale and negotiating compromises for the common good. Should be required reading for politicians of both parties- and there will be a test at the end!.

Superficial with nothing new. There’s nothing new here and the analyses, if one can call them that, are superficial and poorly written. Others like Woodward and Wolff have described the same situation Much more eloquently and convincingly. There’s just no reason to buy this book.

Deeply Reflecting. I love politics but I don’t understand them. This book has opened my eyes in so many ways. I recognize so many of the questions I have actually asked myself and the answers are here and have been validated. I am not surprised by anything I have read within these pages. Books are simply words meant to teach us , entertain us, and help us, manage our lives. However, this book went much deeper when it forced me to reflect on how I choose a leader. That person should reflect who I am, what I value and what I wish to pass on to future generations. It is A Warning plain and simple and a wake up call for each and every one of us to go protect our Democracy from those that wish to discredit it. Many thanks to the author for his bravery to wake us up.

Take this seriously. If you've been paying close attention, there isn't a lot new here. But it is *still* an important book. The author has an excellent sense of history and context, and does an excellent i job explaining the significance of Trump's actions and demeanor. If you are a Trump supporter, and enjoy his bombastic style, I challenge you to read this book and see if you think that style is producing the results you expect.

Excellent Read. Verifies what any observant, intelligent American has been seeing with their own eyes. I understand coming forth as Anonymous with the type of environment that has developed under this President. Pass the book around!

A Warning. I was not going to read the book as so much had been revealed in advance. And full disclosure, I am a liberal democrat who does not share any of the ideology of the author. I finished the book early this morning was very impressed by it. It was well written, and I feel sincere in the authors’ desire to present an accurate portrait of this administration. Although it did not break new ground in terms of disclosures, it thoughtfully examines both Trump and associates. The motives of those who continue to support him are familiar to anyone who ever attends an American high school-the cruel and stupid bully, the dim bulbs who find shelter in jockeying for approval and those who are canny enough to find a way to benefit from the chaos while sacrificing their integrity in the process. However the author really aims the treatise to the silent majority who just kept their heads down, looking forward to graduation and escaping the mess. The final chapter is commencement address to a nation in dire need of a clarion call to action. We are the ones responsible for the current state of affairs and the only ones who can clean up the mess. Failing to do just that will ensure future graduates will lack to opportunity to do so!

This is Disgraceful.. The US Senate needs to use the power of the United States Congress to expose who this person is and imprison this person. If someone from Obama’s White House has done this they would have been publicly rebuked and would have had their lives ruined by the Media. This is disgraceful.

Scholarly, analytic, realpolitik--a breath of fresh air!. A passionate writer providing dispassionate and historical analysis of how America has become more crude, more divided and less able to move forward with rational analyses to better support our balance of power as it was intended by the Framers. Amazing discussions of what has happened, questioning why & speculating on the future. Can you get a Pulitzer if you are Anonymous? I hope so!

Insightful with Historical Perspective. Reading the "one star reviews", I doubt they paid for and read the book. Most likely, they took time to post the review, to discourage other from learning the first hand facts from a Senior Trump Administration Official, who is obviously a strong Republican. I appreciated the author addressing the reason for anonymity at this time, and it makes perfect sense to me. I appreciated his/her ability to relate what our nation is going through today, to past, historical events. Read through to the end. The author has important advice for all citizens, to help us rebuild a strong nation for our future.

A Must Have Document !. For a girl who grew up boycotting news and cable TVs al together, the internet with all its political gossip platforms and daily political discussions I ppreciate this book. It’s a must have documented history we’re still living and making. A Warning! A well written, well narrated and very well presented, detailing a lot of what was hidden from people like me in this country who living their lives away from the daily - so-called breaking news. To add up to all the ugliness, authoritarianism and inhumanity of the previous guy in the WH and his administration in our near past. A chapter of our history in which we all lived, witnessed and went through its horrors and heartbreaks, Plus our COVID-19 US losses. I’ve picked this book when it was still by anonymous in 2019 and left me thinking a lot and shifting perspectives, making some major decisions in my life for my future children as well. I’d like to have the copy with the author’s name on too ASAP to save it for my children in our homeschooling library, so that we can discuss it together when they become a well brought up adults incha’Allah and I tell them what we’ve done to stand up for our Democracy and show the world what we’re capable of doing. Miles Taylor, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for documenting this chapter of our history in a very powerful and heart touching way! Crucial Reading for All Americans. The anonymous author does an excellent job laying out, in broad strokes, a moral argument rather than a political one. The author’s choice to focus on the president’s character reads as legitimate concern, rather than political critique. It’s clear to me that, whoever the author is, we would likely disagree on many government policies and actions. But we both hold the importance of protecting the United State’s global leadership and moral high ground above any individual policy disagreement. Trump cannot be allowed to drag our political discourse through the mud. Trump cannot be allowed to continue to deny fact. For the sake of not only our own democracy, but freedom across the globe, Trump’s behavior and rhetoric cannot be tolerated. It is our civic duty to hold our elected officials to account when they endanger the basic morals that have made our nation a powerful defender of freedom on the global scale. It’s time that Trump, and his defenders, be held to account. This is every citizen’s job. Our government will not fix itself. If the epilogue of “A Warning” could be summarized in one sentence: Government mirrors culture, and culture is the aggregation of the actions and words individual citizens use in daily life. I am guilty of dereliction of my civic responsibilities. Just like so many others, I have failed to take interest in government. I have failed to make my voice known to my representatives. I’ve failed to resist sensationalist, divisive news that only serves to stir up negative emotion. I have failed to be a good neighbor, to care for my fellow citizens and move my feet rather than just my lips. We have all failed each other. Anonymous has done me a great courtesy in writing this book. I now more than ever feel the weight of responsibility that comes with liberty. I cannot fail in this task. For those of you willing to read this book with an open mind and open heart, I hope that you, like me, come to see government and the larger society in a new light. We must look to each other for strength and guidance in these trying times ahead of us. But with effort, with compassion, and with resolve, we can make real change, and better safeguard our liberty for future generations.

Sobering Insight into Trump’s White House. I’m not sure what I expected, but it is a sobering reality check for those who weren’t already familiar by now with Trump’s scary & criminal behavior on a day to day basis. Must read. I’m really sure now that Trump was never qualified to be President of our great Country.

Incredibly Shocking. Trump is on a mental decline! I am a Republican, well, was until I read this. I can no longer support this incompetent man. The picture is clear and I’ll never forget this WARNING!

Inspired. Inspired me to be a better, more engaged citizen.

Hastily written..... ...and it shows. Most of the incidents reported in this book are already well reported. Not much new about Trump to be found in its pages. I find it troubling that the authors chooses to remain anonymous. He (or possibly she) even made a comment about mistrusting a report that is issued anonymously.

Fact checked.. This isn’t truth. A lot of embellishments, emotion. Just gather narcissists in a room and this book is what you get . You’re better off researching things on your own, look deep, and look at what the author doesn’t say. Very telling

The last chapter is the best. Let’s roll.. Much of this book is already known to Americans who have been paying close attention to Trump’s presidency. I particularly appreciated the end of the book that speaks of the hope that exists for Americans - if we can muster the strength - to join together and reclaim our nation’s ideals. Let’s roll, indeed.

Great Book You Must Read. There are trumpians here giving this book a poor rating because they did NOT read it and refuse to accept the truth. They simply support their corrupt Republican leadership more than the welfare of our weakening country. This book reveals how incompetent Trump is and how his staff try to repair his lies, bullying, misinformation, and ignorance. It also reveals the chaos, obstruction, and coverups of the worst President in U.S. history. Furthermore, it reveals how Trump instills fear in his staff, advisors, and republican members of Congress, or be fired, bullied and harassed relentlessly. 37 of Trump’s staff have been indicted, 6 convicted, and 6 jailed. 24 members of Trump’s team have resigned in protest to Trump’s incompetence.

Name Yourself. If you’re not willing to put your name out there I’m not willing to believe anything that you write. Anonymous is reserved for Fiction, if you can’t be questioned you should be in the Fiction section...or the Fake News section.

A Clear Warning to all Americans. This outstanding book was obviously written by someone very high up in the Whitehouse. He or she describes an administration reeling in almost daily chaos, manned by a staff mortified at the immoral behavior of the President. The author’s use of historical events brings into focus the damage being done by Trump to our nation’s moral direction.

Reviewers of a book should really be those who have bothered to read it. If you’re just here to write a fake review out of fear of others being brainwashed by this book, please don’t bother. And you really shouldn’t bother reading the book, either. It will likely just make you mad, and you’re probably mad enough already. There is honestly little new Trump-centric information included in this book. Some of the stuff was news to me, but most has been covered elsewhere. However, there is wonderful insight. In addition, there is a wealth of information on the actions and reactions of the boot lickers who surround the President. Putting a premium on loyalty at the expense of truth is emblematic of those who aren’t completely at ease in the situation in which they find themselves. Anonymous is a great philosopher, a top-notch author, and probably Mike Pence. Anonymous would get my vote in a heartbeat. In fact, I’m thinking of doing a write-in for Anonymous next November.

Enlightening. Loved this book it was quite enlightening!

Closing moments were strong. I was pretty much seething with anger throughout most of the book. I have developed an abhorrence to this administration, but the author does a good job of catching that and rationalizing a move forward. We the electorate truly need to come together for the safety and success of this country in 2020 and put someone competent, deserving, and ethical in office.

Self serving. Self serving buyer’s remorse.

Enlightening. Nothing we don’t already know, but shines a light.

Good, but flawed narrator. Anonymous wants us to know that things are not going well for the steady state, but isn’t ready for “anything drastic.” Knows the president denies the help he got from Russians in the election, but thinks another election is the ideal remedy. They may be right, but their solution is as naive now as they were when they joined the administration. Here’s hoping we take this warning seriously for our own sake.

An Absolute Must Read.... This book is concise and well written. An excellent, well formulated argument and call to action. A must read for all who participate in the American electorate. Whichever side of the isle you find yourself on this will resonate with you. I believe the author is well intentioned, speaks from direct experience and gives the reader and opportunity to decide for themselves the very fate of the United States of America.

Nothing new here. The book is gloriously well crafted, erudite, and grounded in a deep background in history. If you buy it hoping for a new take or new anecdotes on the Trump Whitehouse, you will be disappointed. Well written, but hypocritical: the book would only have real kick if the author used his or her name. Republicans might be pursued to the authors point of view, that the time has come to risk everything, to stand for principal, if it weren’t for the author’s hypocrisy in insisting others should take on the fire and fury, while the author remains anonymous. Reports on the chaos and anecdotes are mostly those already available on major news channels and in the major left and centre newspapers. Author is clearly a conservative, so may not be aware these things have already been reported, but the publishers certainly should be.
