How do u not love PEPPER😍. Ok first of all I LOVE PEPPER every story I have read was amazing all in different ways she is absolutely talented she can write dark romance and then turn around and write The Boy and his Ribbon now that’s a writer...my first series of Peppers was Monsters in the Dark Tess and Q’s story I was hooked from then on I read anything she wrote and never have I been disappointed which leads me to this new Myth series I love how she went back to Tess and how Eleanor came from the same twisted environment but Sully is nothing like her other characters nowhere near as dark and twisted which is why I think he’s my new fav I love the chemistry between him and Eleanor I can’t wait to finish this series and see where they end up bravo Pepper another amazing story. For the reviewer that said Pepper is money hungry because her books are a SERIES are you serious? What a joke every author writes a series🙄 what good story these days isn’t no one likes to read a book that’s been rushed like all of sudden the book just ends and your sitting there ummmm ok that’s it?? ignore the haters pepper your amazing

Cliffhanger. So much build up to be left hanging.

WOW. There is something about Pepper’s writing that just consumes me while I am reading. Her attention to detail is spectacular, and the depth of this story just blew me away. This is the stuff that makes a book so much more than what it is. I don’t think Pepper could have given me a better present than this book. It’s everything I wanted from her, and then some. The angst of this story is my favorite part. I love that this is more slow burn romance, and that she didn’t just throw them together. GAHHHH the last two chapters…I died. This is heart-stopping, wickedly hot, and so scandalous that Sully will be the death of me.

Absolutely Brilliant!. Absolutely Brilliant! I need a moment to bask in this masterpiece I just read. A brilliantly dark, depraved and sensual romance that will have you begging for book two!! Lovers of The Monsters in The Dark Series Get Ready!!! You are in for a treat! If you haven’t read that story, well what are you waiting for? Eleanor Grace is taken captive at 21 yrs old and sent against her will to where fantasies come true...for the right price. Sullivan Sinclair is her new owner. A ruthless, hardened, mystery of an alpha antihero. He sells the fantasy at Goddess Isles, his private island, but at what cost? Are you ready for this dark and dangerous pièce de résistance? If you love your dark romances the darker the better, then you will LOVE this one! I also loved how there is a cameo from a certain someone. The writing as always is superb and the characters are rich in depth. This ends on a major cliffhanger so be prepared! FYI: this book is not for the faint of heart as it has some intense scenes. Told in dual POV

Bait and Switch - Don’t fall for the trap!. As usual if it sounds to good to be true it is. This “free” book definitely is a TRAP. It not a complete story, it is the beginning only with a GIANT cliff hanger. This author can certainly write but her true gift is in leading her readers on FOREVER until she gets them addicted to her characters and willing to keep paying and paying and paying until they have nothing left or the story mercifully comes to an end. I love her writing but I feel like heroine addict after they come down from their fix. I hate myself for falling for the drug/book again and buying the next book when I know that won’t be a complete story either. I love Miss Winter’s talent for the tale but I hate her money grubbing ways in equal measure! And if ur asking...yeah I preordered the next book. (Loathing myself as the author is laughing maniacally and counting her dough...)

Have you been sullied?. The darkness in me craves the darkness that radiates from Sully’s core. Pepper has introduced another infuriating swoon worthy Alpha male whose tortured soul makes you want to slap and kiss in the same breath. I’m ready to trade place with jinx in a heartbeat. I can taste the elixir off the pages. Pepper is a able to stir a delicious thirst in me that can only Sully can quench. Will continue follow Sully and Jinx on their journey of pleasure! Prepare to be sullied!

I couldn’t devour it fast enough. This was my first book by this author and I am so happy to have started with this book. It was everything I didn’t know I needed lust, heat, intensity, passion and so much more. The story line is brilliant drags you in. Sully is a tortured sexy soul for sure. I can’t wait for the next book! This is a top read for me for 2020.

Intriguing, Spellbinding & Full of Angst. This story is intriguing, spellbinding, and full of angst and suspense. Sullivan and Eleanor will have you on the edge of your seat. I definitely enjoy their interactions, especially their back and forth banter. Their chemistry was undeniable. Pepper is amazing at delivering stories where your darkest desires brings you the greatest pleasure and this story left me feeling euphoric. I was hooked. I want more. I need more. I'm craving more! I cannot wait for the next book.

TRIGGER WARNING- SA. The book was well written and enticing; the concept was forbiddingly hot, but I couldn’t continue reading as the subject of the book brought up things I’d thought I’d long forgotten. If you’ve ever been a victim of SA, this book is not for you.

This is classic Pepper Winters!. Ahh, this is classic Pepper Winters!! She has always been my favorite author when it comes to reading dark romance and this new series felt just like coming home. I don't know what that says about me that I enjoy her stories so much, especially with what they entail, but I could not put this book down. I was completely enraptured with Sully and Eleanor. Eleanor - or Jinx as Sully calls her, poses quite the conundrum. He has never been tempted with any of his other goddesses, but this girl, young woman, tests him at every turn. She causes him to lose that carefully controlled calm he has perfected. Sully, I haven't decided whether I love him or hate him just yet. The things he does are disgusting, buying trafficked women to provide sexual services to clients on his remote islands. The way he sees these women is positively barbaric, and gross and makes you want to kill him. But the subtle hints we get along the way tells me there is SO much more to Sully that we haven't seen yet, and it is going to be quite a journey getting to know him. I really loved the conflict between Sully and Eleanor. She's a proud, willful, strong young woman who is not going to submit to Sully and what he expects of her. And Sully is absolutely going to do whatever it takes to get this woman to kneel at his feet like all his other goddesses have done. There's just something different about her though, and it doesn't help that she fits the description of his perfect, ideal woman. I have to admit I would love to spend years on Sully's islands, just not doing what is required in order to do so. Pepper is just scratching the surface with this first book in the series, and I am dying to see what is in store for the rest of this storyline. If you've read Pepper's other dark romance stories, you will feel right at home with Sully and Eleanor. If this is your first foray into her taboo world of human trafficking, strap in tight for a dark and twisted tale.

Worthwhile read. I loved the concept of this dark romance,it’s definitely a twist on the kidnapped into sexual slavery. Eleanor is strong capable character fighting to hold on to who she is,while Sullivan is a complexity to be revealed. The hot factor is a five. Overall a very worthwhile story, maybe just a little less internal thoughts from the characters.

Holy Hotness!!. This book was absolutely dirty, sexy, and everything you could ever want. Sully is who I will now fantasize about🖤 Pepper Winters doesn’t disappoint !!

Disgusted. I hate how this book tries to justify human trafficking. How can you humanize a human trafficker and make the poor girl seem like she is ok with it. Don’t romanticized human trafficking. it’s a sensitive topic and shouldn’t be used for entertainment.

Enjoyable. I found the writing enjoyable, however, I did not like that the human trafficking aspect of the story was romanticized. I enjoyed the story don’t get me wrong, but there were several parts of the story where I was incredibly uncomfortable.

Once A Myth. When I downloaded this book.I didn’t think I would like it but I did. Hopefully the second book is just as good.

Holy Mother!. Holy Mother! Pierce my heart and bleed it dry! That’s exactly what Once a Myth has done to me! Once a Myth starts as a total nightmare for any young adult girl. Eleanor doesn’t truly know what her life is meant to be, so she decides to travel the world to find her life’s meaning. Along the way she is plucked from a peaceful existence to an absurd fantasy world of sex and drugs not by choice. Get ready for a dark and wild ride that is completely raw and honest! Sullivan is a very successful businessman that has inherited his parent’s pharmaceutical company. He’s also decided to live a very unconventional life in a remote area. When “Sully” meets Eleanor he knows his life will never be the same. Gah! CAN NOT WAIT until Book 2 in this series is released for me to devour! I’ve not read a book this fast in over 6 months! This is my first read by Author Pepper Winters and I’m mystified! *This is not an ARC review. I have bought and paid for this awesome book and my opinions are my own.

love love love. This book let me start off is AMAZINGLY written. the ONLY down side is the fact that it doesn’t tell you the full story. it is a book apart of a series. but i could imagine that its worth it. although i personally will not continue it...maybe

Not the quality I’ve come to expect. I rarely write reviews, but I felt so compelled this time. I’m not even sure Pepper wrote this story. It begins choppy and has none of the usual flow we’ve all come to expect from her stories. I’m only a third of the way through and I’ve already put it down to find something new. I’m so disappointed. I normally tear right thru her stories.

New Pepper SERIES!!. Need more Sully! Pepper is in her true form with this series, I can already tell. There will be several installments with this being book 1. They look to each be full length. 💕💕 Bring on more Sully and Eleanor. This was just enough to get me interested 😍

Once A Myth. Three cheers for this story, fantastic fantasy, amazing characters. Can’t wait to read the rest in the series.
