Darby has a need for family, to feel wanted and appreciation, but he is not feeling that. This leads him to an electric connection to a girl that is so easy to love he just can’t help himself. Waylynn has never felt love or absence of belonging. What does she do with this pull she feels for the youngest Valentine boy? She goes with it & IT IS BEAUTIFUL! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5 BUCKED STARS!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Darby has tested and pushed the boundaries since childhood after what happened, but thanks to Nico he was able to turn his life around and has become the first one in the family to graduate college. Waylynn knows Darby from growing up in the rodeo circuit, and isn’t a fan of him because of his reputation. This pair end up coming together after graduating college, and the pivotal point in their lives ends up being exactly where they need each other. Darby has a hard time with his family because they still see him as a child making irresponsible decisions, even though he’s proven himself tenfold. On the other side, Waylynn has had issues with her parents her entire childhood. While she loves her parents, they aren’t the parental type, and it really borderlines neglect. These two show the others the value in each other as well as their worth, and I love how fiercely protective they are of each other. It was such a great ending to this series, and while I wish we would get Darby’s best friend’s story, hopefully it will be in the cards down the road. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Waylynn & Darby. Can I just say I love Lani Lynn Vale!! Darby - the youngest of the Valentine boys, a troublemaker, a screwup. Waylynn - the daughter of a rodeo man who took Darby under his wing. LLV bringing them together, well this book is funny, sweet, hot & sexy. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this reading their story. You definitely want to make sure to read this!

Review: The Valentine Boys 4: Get Bucked. Get Bucked by Lani Lynn Vale is the fourth book in her Valentine Boys series. This is Darby's story, the youngest brother, former bad kid with wrong crowd sort who has grown up, matured, corrected his bad behavior and lives for his family, until Waylynn shows back up in his life. With her around, the family might just come second to her. Told in dual POV between Darby and Waylynn this books is well-written and well-paced and thankfully, unlike almost all other series I have read by Lani Lynn Vale, the Valentine boys series is low on the danger and life-threatening occurrences scale. There is still drama and emotional angst, just a little less life risk to it. It's nice to see characters get their happy ending the somewhat easy way once in a while, not that I don't also love the drama, the change is nice. Waylynn is a tough, take no crap warrior woman who can handle anything. Well, anything but spiders. And Darby is a total and complete sweetheart. Taken for granted by his brothers, working his behind off not only on the Valentine ranch but also at college, graduating and getting a job teaching at that same college, he is a hard working hunk of a man that also wrestles bulls at the rodeo in his not so much of it free time. I loved reading the stories of each of the Valentine boys and the epilogue was epic! Enjoy!
