Least favorite and confusing at best. After I previously read this more than once just to get some clarity and some kind of understanding of this particular dark bully enemies to lovers story, I’m unable to give this an three or four stars. The guy, Hunter Price, the usual typical alpha dominant college quarterback is a real jerk at best!!! I mean, all throughout the book he emotionally and sexually tormented his ex-girlfriend Skye Sinclair to punish her for breaking his heart when they graduated from high school. Then all of the sudden after finding out the real truth about why Skye had broken up with him and learning her father was dying of cancer, he did an immediate 180 by saying he still loves her?!? Who in their right mind would want to have a second chance with a bully who was once the love of Skye’s life? I mean he really treated her like dirt then Skye would give him a second chance? I admit their sexual attraction are steamy in a very unusual manner!?? I felt it rushed after all Hunter’s unrelenting revenge and anger toward Skye then toward the end all is forgiven with an HEA?!? Well, I guess it’s called an Enemies to Lovers story for nothing!??

Couldnt put it down. This was a book I didn’t want to put down. The author left me on the edge of my seat throughout the book. I look forward to finding more of this authors’ novels in the future!

tear jerking. I was not expecting it to pull at my heart strings the way it did. A true rollercoaster of emotions.

Disappointing & Uncomfortable. The storyline lacked depth and was relatively unoriginal. The revenge he’s seeking through sex felt pushy and at times not-consensual which made me uncomfortable while reading.
