Very entertaining and a lot of action. Lots of twist and betrayal always kept me on my toes

A Great Prequeal. I ended up reading throne of glass first not realizing Celaena’s story began with this one. This was an amazing read and each story helps you understand her story before Throne of Glass !!! A lovely story to read!

AMAZING. A MUST READ. This one was amazing from beginning to end. You don’t have to read this one first unless you want to!

Necessary prequel. Tragic, powerful, complicated love. Sets the stage for the series.

Loved the book, but missing a whole story!. I enjoyed the book, but had no idea I was missing a whole chapter until I was listening to a podcast and realized I had no idea what they were even talking about! Not cool Apple. I would have just bought the physical book!

Missing a Whole Novella!. This book is missing a whole Novella, the Assassin and the Healer! Hopefully it can be updated to include it. It’s also not in the book store for individual sale, so not sure what is going on there. Kindle does have it in their version of the e-book.

Second novella is now here. to all wondering, this version now includes all 5 novellas. the issue with the second novella being discluded has been resolved

An Entire Story is Missing. The stories were great, but where is The Assassin and the Healer?

Perfect backstory. After reading half the series before I read this book, it explains a lot of the events in the books. It’s very helpful

Love it and gave the perfect backstory!. LOVED these novellas and provided the perfect backstory for the entire series! i love the emotion filled roller coaster that we’re these stories. By the end i came to love each and every character and never saw the betrayal and plot twists coming!

Amazing story of Hope. The end always gives me such hope for a better future when I think of it. I love this book and I always will. I’ll hope that when I become a Mom, my kids will enjoy reading this series as much as I did. If I could, I’d erase my memory of this series, anything to experience the shock, tears, smiles, laughs, and triumphs of this series, the ups and downs of it, for the first time again.

Where’s .02?. Buy this elsewhere where it actually has all of the novellas that you thought you paid for.

Meh. After I finished reading the ACOTAR series, I tried to get into these. But they weren’t as good.

This e book leaves out AN ENTIRE section of the book!. There is a part of this book, called the assassin and the healer and it is missing from this version of the book! It is unacceptable for a whole section of a book to be missing. The only reason I caught this is because I had the physical assassins blade book and I was halfway through it when my husband bought me an iPad for my birthday to read books on. I decided to switch over to finishing assassins blade on the iPad and I left off on the healer. When I switched over I noticed that it was completely missing from this digital version of the book. This is an extremely popular book and now I am nervous about buying more books on the iPad because what if other parts are missing from other books?

Great book. A little slow in the beginning but so glad I stuck with it. Great book

Missing an entire novella. This doesn’t contain The Assassin and the Healer, the second novella of five in the prequel series.

The Assassin’s Blade. This book was definitely worth the read and can be read as a stand alone. Though I predicted the would-be twists, I still found myself wanting to watch the events play out, and enjoyed doing so. The stories are well balanced and beautifully written. If I had to nitpick it would be that Celaena conveniently forgot the Mute Master telling her she’d always have a home in the desert, the insert-really-big-number moments feel like cop-outs for making fiscal decisions about this world, and the idea of Celaena being cornered because of her financial situation is undermined by the fact that she hasn’t exhausted all of her options, i.e. cutting costs, squeezing money out of her possessions, seeking other work etc especially when she considers it but chooses to do nothing, which is important since it drives the plot.

Doesn’t have all novellas. This version for some reason doesn’t have all 5 of the stories, it’s missing Assassin and the Healer. Really disappointing to not have the full book, why do that?

Missing whole section. Bought this because I forgot to bring my physical copy of the book to vacation. Extremely disappointed to find out it’s missing a whole section (the assassin and the healer). The section I was in the middle of reading. So disappointed I didn’t realize this before purchasing the book. Not worth it and I can’t even get a refund.

Loved it.. Beautifully written. Great character development. Can’t wait to see what will happen next. By the way, there were no missing parts here as it was mentioned in other reviews. It seems an update was submitted and the missing story was added back.

Missing the second novella!. I loved this book. I read it after HOF, which is highly recommend. However, reading the tandem and realizing I’m missing info….because this version is missing The Assassin and the Healer! Get the digital copy on Kindle or read the physical book for the full version and you aren’t stuck going back like me.

Where’s 0.2?. Great backstory but it didn’t come with part 2 (The Assassin and the Healer). Can’t find it anywhere 😔
