Too ridiculous. The final book was just too over the top for me. Children attacking and killing all the adults in a town is just a bit far fetched even for a fictional book. I don’t recommend

Crazy Ending. Last book in the Devil’s Cove trilogy. Didn’t enjoy quite as much as the others but still a well written story. I will be reading other books by this author.

Enjoyed. This is book 3 of The Devils Cove trilogy. This is a great series. The story grabs your interest and keeps you hooked. It’s been hard to put down. Book 3 is very well written and I recommend reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Devils cove collection. I am blown away by this book. I read his entire devils cove series in 2 days. I couldn’t stop reading it. It’s so scary and gruesome and absolutely gut wrenching at every corner. It’s horror and thriller and crime and gore all mixed into a collection of books. I feel like I need to read something uplifting after this scary series! It’ll definitely keep you wanting more after each book. I LOVE the way the last book ended, I had anxiously waited for that to happen. Great series of books Malcolm Richard’s.

Gripping. The coexistence of monsters and victims in the same characters gives psychological depth to this last part of the series. A plot in which an evil spider web seems to catch everything and makes you feel that there is a kind of darkness impossible to overcome. It shows multiple portraits of motherhood in a very real way, with doubts, frustrations but also commitment and love. The entire series offers a terrifying story that you can't stop reading.

The Devil’s Gate. Malcolm Richards brought this trilogy to a heart pounding, nail biting, unexpected ending. A great read through and through.

Great books. I got the first book free and just had to buy the other two. I don’t buy books often but sometimes I just gotta, and this was one of those times. The theme of monsters and victims was intriguing, the plot kept me engaged and I needed to find out what happened next, especially to Cal. In all honesty, Carrie was irritating to me quite often although and while I can’t begin to know what I’d do in her situation, in my head I yelled at her often. But otherwise I loved these books!

Devil’s Gate. Great story telling. Gut wrenching, hair pulling tension! Totally absorbing trilogy!

Devil’s Gate. These are an excellent read. Have recommended them to others. Thanks k

Devastating Conclusion to a Dark and Twisted Trilogy. This is the last book in the Devil’s Cove trilogy and takes place six months after events reached a climax at Burnt House Farm, with the discovery of the burnt body of little Luke’s father and the video captured by Aaron Black before his death. The video showed Cal killing the man as Jacob, the Dawn Children leader, urged him to whilst surrounded by the other children. Since then, all of these teenagers and the younger children have disappeared and the police have been unable to find any trace of them. Cal rescued his mother and she ended up leaving him in the hands of the police and hasn’t seen him since. Cal in due to be on trial soon, for murder of Luke’s father and the attempted murder of Carrie’s mother. He was placed in a young offenders unit, but didn’t deal with that well and then was placed in a mental health institute. Carrie hasn’t dealt with issues well since her escape and Cal’s imprisonment, with her husband Dylan and daughter Melissa now staying with his parents. She is drinking heavily again and is being told she needs to choose between her son, her first born and then her daughter from her second relationship. She also gets a surprise visitor from her past, who throws a curve ball into the situation. The town is preparing for the annual Devil’s Day parade, where they make a sacrifice – of alcohol – to try and appease the devil and in the hope he won’t take their children from them, as the story goes. Nat has been placed in the middle of helping with the younger kids to create artwork for the parade, mainly by Rose, her foster mother, pushing her into it. Rose is trying to push Nat to go to London for university, but Nat believes she would be thrown out once she was eighteen and that she can’t rely on Rose to help fund her. On top of that, Rose has gotten her a cleaning job at the local caravan park, part-time, but Nat really wants to look into the Dawn Children cult and the devastation they have left behind. She is especially guilty about the death of Aaron Black and feels she ignored him in his time of need! What nobody knows, is that the new leader of the Dawn Children, the young man called Heath, has plans for Devil’s Cove and other areas, making sure that the children can go into the New Dawn, into the Light! In order to make the word safe for the children, those like Luke’s father, who was accused of child molestation, and others are targeted by the Dawn Children cult, with more vicious attacks taking place. But, what they have planned for Devil’s Cove is worse than anyone could ever imagine! Inside information will be obtained from an unsuspecting character, which will make this plan more devastating and terrifying than anyone could possibly comprehend. Another dark and perilous storyline for the main characters from each of the books. The story is wrapped up in this final book, but it is not an ending that anyone might expect! I would advise readers to ensure that have read all three books in order, for this trilogy. Definitely dark and destructive action takes place in these books and they aren’t fort the faint hearted! I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.

The Devils Gate. The finale of The Cove series.what an emotional and beautifully written book, once again Malcolm has surpassed my expectations, he makes you feel as if you are there with the people going through the hell with them. This final book reduced me to tears, left me wanting to know more and if the characters did actually achieve happy ever after.
