Meaningful Read. Character development, romance, and educational, true to the Nicholas Sparks style. Learned a lot about PTSD and bees. His love of the south and it’s natural beauty blossoms again. Loved the ending, BTW.

Great read for busy people!. This is a great book to read if you’re busy with life and need to “unplug” before bed. It’s an easy read, but the story is still captivating with a few unexpected twists. Plus the chapters are a nice length to read in under 30 minutes. I’m not a fan of books that don’t get me hooked quickly, and this one definitely did!

Hard to get into. I kept reading this book as I’ve always been a fan of the author. It was, however, tough going and not really worth it in the end. This was certainly nowhere near the level of his previous works.

So boring, great book to put you to sleep. I had high hopes for a Nicholas Sparks book, but this was as dull, slow, and uninteresting as any book I’d every read. I thought he was a romance guru, but this one lacks any momentum and excitement. The plot is very slow to work out, it takes forever for anything to build. Don’t waste your time, seriously.

Too much detail and drags. The PSTD recovery would have been a more interesting plot than where this story went. It was a chore to finish reading.

Extremely boring and not a believable love story.. This was a rough one to get through. I gave it two stars because the ending wrapped up nicely but I truly did not enjoy this book. Which is out of the ordinary for me with Nicholas Sparks. I almost DNF in the middle. The two main character’s love story was not believable in any way. They fell for each other very quickly - after one or two meetings. Then how much the main character, Trevor, fell apart after they split was over the top. Who does that after knowing someone for such a short time?? Callie’s story was more interesting than Trevor’s. A bit shocking to me, didn’t see it coming, but definitely a better storyline.

The Return!. I enjoyed this book, it was just what the doctor ordered after reading a compelling biography documenting the 45th president in his final year in office. This book was a bit sophomoric and I always knew what was going to happen on the next page but it diverted my attention long enough. Thanks for that, Nicholas Sparks.

A fine read but I wish I wouldn’t have purchased. I’ve read just about every Nicholas Sparks novel over the years, and it bums me to say that I feel the quality of them is declining with each one. This story was short and sweet, but didn’t really need to be written.

Love it. I love this book. The flow is Smooth and Trevor’s character is attractive. I like Natalie’s personality, how mysterious she is. Better yet, I like Callie.

Worst Book by Nicholas Sparks by far!. I can’t even begin with how disappointed I’ve become with Nicholas Sparks. His books are getting more and more boring. I can’t believe I wasted money on a book that has barely any story line at all. 400 pages in and I’m still bored out of my mind. I wanted to commit to it but I quit. Waste of time

The Return. This was a very deep read. It’s about a man who has issues to deal with while coping with the passing of his grandfather. While living in his grandfather’s house he meets two people who forever change his life.

Great Read. I absolutely love Nicholas Sparks. His books are romantic but also have another meaning to them. This is a great read, and the way he built the characters was great. He did a wonderful job at walking you through the characters lives and all the things they need to work on and grow to learn. Wonderful story about love and forgiveness. Definitely recommend
