Guarding Angel- Book One. Like able characters and an engaging storyline—eager to read the complete series to find out what happens next.

Guarding Angel.. This book was a quick read interesting read. The interactions between characters is realistic. I am anxious to find out what happens next.

The guardian angel. The quardian is a very catchy book with detail on every event happening. I love how in depth he goes to protect his long lost love from the drugs and gang evading her shop trying to keep her safe with his navy seal training!

No. Not worth a second chance

Interesting read. I think the story is interesting but the brevity of the book makes it difficult to determine. It has lots of intrigue so I believe the series will be good.

The start of a good story. This is not a full book. This is the introduction to a book. I’d say that it ends on a cliffhanger but truthfully it doesn’t even make it to a cliff— Angel and Dante are introduced, meet again after a long absence, spend less than an hour together, figure out that Angel may be in danger, and that’s it. I did enjoy the characters and rising plot and think it sets up the full story marvelously well. There are complex character backgrounds and emotional relationships between parents, friends, old acquaintances, and deceased family. The setting of a small beach town long past it’s golden age feels new and interesting, and many hints are provided about the dark things that caused its downfall and separated our hero and heroine. I could do without a “billionaire” in my romantic suspense stories, but maybe it is explained why and how Dante earned his billions— even he doesn’t seem to know how it happened in this book. I’m just frustrated that the decision was made to chop up a full book to make a “series” when it’s clearly not plotted for that. It feels like a betrayal, and I don’t want to buy more from an author that does that to their reader.

Guarding Angel. Honestly, I’m not sure what think about this one. First installment ended abruptly and left me hanging, but not in a good way. Sure, it’s setting up to be a reunion of teenage lovers and we all know where that’s going to lead. It seems the book just got started and then stopped. Hope the next are better.

Guarding Angel. The first book in this series has me in a mix of emotions and confusion. I’m not fully understanding the back and forth, and it’s a bit frustrating. But I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with the threat from the dealers.

Loved it. I loved the whole story , I can’t wait to see what happens with Angel and Dante.

Unsatisfying. Odd turns of phrase that feel like inaccurate translations (culinary college), trite phrasing, and absurd dialogue distract from a plot that never quite takes off. Just skip these 179 pages and find something else to read.

Guarding Angel. I think that this book has an interesting plot to it that definitely make you want to keep reading. I like the Greek influences, not something you see a lot.

A cliffhanger, why!!!???. A charming start with two teens growing up together who share their first night as lovers at 18. Guardian Angel by Darcy Quinn. Not a bad read. Little slow to begin with but now looking forward to see what happens.

Lackluster series starter...but a little intrigued!. While I’m not totally hooked on this series just yet, it doesn’t have something I want to continue with. Just got to get past the mills & boon character names - fingers crossed this series gets interesting...
