Murder mystery. Rather complicated murder mystery, old case from a decade prior being resurrected by a relative for solution. You should just read it if interested-too complicated to discuss.

Review. This was one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! Will keep you on the edge of your seat!!

Wow!. I have to admit, after starting it and meh...put it on the back-burner, picked it up again and it pulled me in. The more I read the more I had to read! I wouldn’t recommend waiting as I did. There are a lot of characters and I had to go back to remember who’s married to whom.

Pretty Killer. I really liked this book. The authors did a great job. It was fun to find the hints and clues that made sense later. From these authors it was not a surprise that the story was so good.

Pretty Killer. Looked like it would be a takeoff on Agatha Christie but with a twist. Well done. Easy to follow even with the past brought in.

Fantastic, make it a movie!. What a fantastic book! I love a good twist at the end! This would be a phenomenal movie…I pictured Morena Baccarin as Harper during the entire read…she has the perfect calm voice for the character. Great book!

Pretty Boring Killer?. I tried for 125 of 500 pages but couldn’t get interested in this story.

Pretty boring. As much as wanted to read it it was just plain boring, I just couldn’t get my self to read it. I skim through most of it and still nothing seem to grab my attention.

Pretty Killer. I hate books that jump between past and present. This one was so farfetched in trapping guests in a restaurant and playing one off another. Lots of repeat scenarios. Bad guys stopping exits. It’s like a little mafia thrown in a Miss Marple senario.

Killer story!. What if the secrets you kept came back to haunt you? 12 dinner guests, all invited to the same dinner party, all for very different reasons......or so they were led to believe. Pretty killers is a fast paced thriller about how even the decisions we make as far back as high school, can resurface in our adult lives. Never once considering how actions can affect everything and everyone around them, the guests at this particular get together are about to find out just that. It starts the same as you would imagine, couples and singles who are getting ready to go out are preparing. Getting dressed up, putting on pretentious airs to impress the people they couldn’t stand in school. Each one with the assumption that they’ve done so much better than their peers. Once there, they come to realize that none of them are any better than the others. Everyone has skeletons in their closet they don’t want anyone to discover. The doors are locked, there is no escape from each other, or their self loathing. 12 place settings... 12 sealed envelopes... Their gracious host arrives. Not one of them recognizes her, nor has any idea that she knows them, almost better than they know themselves. As she invites them to eat, some guests ask if they can leave. “Of course you can, you will have to address the matter of your envelope first however”. What could the mysterious envelopes contain? Secrets, much like any weapon, can harm, destroy, and in extreme cases kill.

Pretty Killer. Started out interesting. By the last 50 pages I was screaming “get on with it”. Wore me out.

Dark but entertaining.. Even though this was a bit dark and totally unbelievable, I found I couldn’t wait to find out who caused Casey’s death. There were definitely some twists I didn’t see coming, hence the 5 Stars. My only question is why it was written in the future and not present day?

Pretty Killer. Excellent novel. The writing of this novel was very intriguing and kept the reader hooked. The twists and turns of this novel kept you guessing. I could not put this book down. I was completely surprised at the end. I thought the person who murdered Simon was Noah, but the surprise at the end was fabulous. Highly recommend reading this novel. Will reread just for pure enjoyment.

Its okay. The shifting between time and the 12 different points of view were challenging at times. The overuse of curse word was jarring and it eventually cooled down. It was the use of the word “doodad” for their phones. It felt like a place holder word and they forgot to change it. Then the end well it was cheap attempt to be clever. It had a 13 reasons why vibe but that series was not good either. So would I recommend this book? Yea... it’s okay.

Amazing story, delivered perfectly.. Loved this book so much. Kept me guessing all the way till the end. Great characters that you loved to hate and also hated to love. Anytime I read a book till the very end and haven’t figured it all out is a great book, and this is the first book in years I hadn’t figured out.

Read Again!. I love mysteries that pull you into them making you believe you can solve it. This story full of so many secrets and so many intertwined lives has the reader questioning it all. There are surprises and hints that keep redirecting the blame for what happen ten years ago. The words are woven to capture and immerse the reader into the story so that the want all the answers to what happen. Each character supplies a piece but not the total of the puzzle. The ending comes as such a surprises it makes you want to read the story again. I would suggest the you read the authors notes at the end of the book there are some interesting information in them.
