Sweet and sexy!. A sexy friends to lovers romance. Kane and Molly’s chemistry was instant and hot. I enjoyed their sweet and low angst story and the cameos from another series. Jeremy York and Lessa Lamb’s narration was great and added an additional element to storyline.

Fast forward 10yrs...Mollie is a successful travel blogger and Kane plays second line for the Arizona Vengeance. She thrives on adventure, Kane needs a plan-routine. They both are extremely successful and don’t think anything is missing from their lives. Until... Mollie shows up on Kane’s doorstep after an incident with her ex. Mollie holds secrets that could ultimately get her killed. Kane knows Mollie is holding something back, but decides to wait until she’s ready to talk. In the meantime, he devotes his time to his hockey team as the season is just beginning. When Mollie finally confesses what had her running scared, Kane is livid! A protectiveness he’s never felt before rears it’s ugly head! Kane decides to go “all in” and helps Mollie develop a plan to draw her ex out of hiding. This friends to lovers story was a little different than others I’ve read. Sawyer Bennett takes a conventional friends to lovers, adds a twist, throws in some heartache, before finally allowing Mollie and Kane their HEA! Awesome, captivating story! Even though Kane issues an ultimatum, he quickly sees the error of is ways and is quick to apologize. I love a man who can admit he’s wrong! I almost forgot, I loved the cameo appearance of the Jameson Security guys!!! Thoroughly enjoyable. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

beautiful written friends to lovers romance. Kane by Sawyer Bennett was a beautiful written friends to lovers romance. Mollie and Kane have such a special bond, it is clear to the reader their connection runs deep.... and that transition from friends to lovers burns off the pages. This story flows beautifully the way Mollie shows up on Kane's door and the how these two resolve two professionals with careers they adore pulled at my heart while sometimes wanting me to shake mostly Mollie.....so yes Bennett for me to feel! Kane's desire for Mollie, his embracing of his connection and deepening feeling to her often had me grinning from ear to ear as I am a sucker for hero who WANTS the heroine. The Vengeance cast of characters provided for a great read as it felt like coming home to me. Bennett's created a world rich with connections and often time hysterical banter. Mollie folds into this world, the way she is easily enveloped by the group speaks volumes to the authors ability to write and well the scenes with Kane and Jim Steele have been so excited for more! Yes if you can't tell, I adore the Arizona Vengeance Series and I am so excited for Steele next!

One of my favorites of the series. I love Kane and Mollie. I’m a sucker for friend to romance storyline. These two are adorable and I liked that they got together pretty quickly and the storyline kept me engaged. Also, got to meet the Jameson group in this book. Great read!

Friends to lovers with steam. Where to start with this book.. it was such a great read and refreshing to have steam and love with little drama. Kane and Molly are such a sweet couple that made me wish I had a best friend to fall in love with. As with all of Sawyers books, I love getting characters from her other books that pop up for some fun. You will never regret reading this book!

Awesome read. What do you do when your best friend needs help, why of course you take them in. Kane and Mollie have been friends for 10 yrs. Chemistry took a back burner and the friendship grew. Mollie runs to Kane because she’s in danger. They can no longer act like they don’t want more. In order to make this work, there are lots of obstacles to overcome. I love this story. You still get glimpses of the other teammates while centering on Kane and Mollie!

Not up to par. Disappointment

Love Kane and Mollie!. I adore Kane and Mollie and absolutely loved their story and journey from best friends to lovers and eventually a HEA. When Mollie comes to visit after her latest travel adventure it’s clear she needed a break and some time with her bestie. It’s also clear there are deeper feelings between them that they are just discovering but not quite sure about. But Kane got what he needed to push him over the edge to just go for it and it was a pleasure watching them realize how much they already meant to each other as best friends and that taking things to the next level would only make everything that much better between them. Not to mention they have some serious chemistry to explore! I really liked how early in the book that happened so some other story lines could take flight. Millie and Kane are so perfect for each other and they make each other shine, but is that enough to keep her wanderlust at bay? He certainly won’t be leaving hockey any time soon since he is thriving with the Arizona Vengeance, so things are sure to get a little complicated. I really enjoy the fact that we get more of the other players and their women who we already know and love in this story as well as some new players. I love the storyline about one of his teammates Jim, and as an added bonus we get a crossover with Jameson Force Security as they help out with a scary situation Mollie is dealing with. Hours of enjoyment!! Sawyer Bennett has done it again with another couple’s story in this amazing series!!

Score. This is one of my favorites in this series. Although Legend will forever be my favorite Kane and Mollie are up there, plus friends to lovers are always a good trope. Seeing the chemistry and love grow was so great. I could not put this down and I am now waiting for Jim’s book. Sawyer Bennett has made this series one of the best.

Totally obsessed with the Arizona Vengeance!. Totally obsessed with the Arizona Vengeance! Kane and Mollie have been best friends since college, and while they only crossed the line one time, for the most part their friendship has been only that for years. But when Mollie shows up unexpected at his doorstep after a traumatic event on the road, his feelings start to bubble up more than usual. After his teammate asks Mollie out, Kane decides enough is enough and becomes determined to take his shot and put himself out there with her. While Mollie is surprised to find out that Kane has feelings similar to her, and when he takes his shot she decides to do the same. As they get to know each other in a relationship atmosphere, their feelings grow strong and quick, all the while they handle the scorned ex-boyfriend terrorizing Mollie. But once the threat is eliminated, Mollie and Kane have to decide what their next step is – especially with Mollie’s sense of travel the vagabond lifestyle. I found myself wanting to shake Mollie to come to her senses with what she has with Kane and my heart felt for him when Mollie potentially chooses traveling over building a life with Kane. Thankfully things end well for the couple, and while I was happy with the ending, I really wished that there would have been an epilogue to see what things looked like for them in the future. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Great Read. Kane (Arizona Vengeance, #8) was a great read by Sawyer Bennett. Mollie, Kane’s best friend, show’s up at his door exhausted and scared. She had an incident with her ex and needs someone to protect her. Although they are just friends, Kane will do anything to protect her. Kane is getting ready to start the new hockey season but they decide to start a relationship. I really enjoyed Kane and Mollie’s story and can’t wait to read more by Sawyer Bennett.

Another beautiful romance. Sawyer Bennett once again delivers a beautiful romance with heart,heat and delightful characters! Kane and Mollie’s story is a love story built on the foundation of friendship that after ten long years becomes something more. It’s beautifully written with just enough intrigue and intense emotions to keep you hooked! Love all the men and their woman of the Arizona Vengeance!

Feel good friends to lovers. Kane is the newest member of the Arizona Vengeance hockey team. He is showing his lady friend to the door when his best friend, Mollie shows up out of the blue. Mollie is a travel blogger who met Kane when the were college freshman. She shows up on Kane’s doorstep unexpectedly after a horrific run in with an ex boyfriend. She needs to take a break and she feels safe with Kane. Kane and Mollie are honestly really good friends to one another. Their relationship progressed really fast for me, but I still enjoyed reading their story. Their relationship felt pretty effortless until the very end. Their story was pretty low on angst. There was a slight aspect of suspense. But mostly this was a feel good friends to lovers story.

Fantastic!. This is such a endearing book! It is sexy and super romantic...And at the same time the main characters are so like able and nice that you can’t help loving them and wanting to see where their story goes. This had such a great plot...great banter...Lots of Ah moments...Some spice...Some suspense...Some angst but not overdone. It brought all the feels. Give yourself a treat and cuddle up and read this book...you will finish with a happy face and the satisfied sigh you get when finishing a well written romance! Loved It! Received a early copy for an honest review.

Overall, a fun story with a few intense moments.. As a late season trade last season, Kane is not a well known Vengeance player. He came on the scene in the trade for Rafe from the Cold Fury and we know nothing about his past really. So when his best friend shows up on his door, it's a surprise to all that it's a woman. And I love her nickname (Noodle). Fast forward to why she shows up and both of their latent feelings and a storm is brewing between them. Will they act on their feelings or just remain best friends? Will acting on their feelings ruin their friendship? Everyone already thinks there's more between them, so why not see where it leads. Oh, yeah, and let's not forget about her stalker. I think my favorite part of the book is when Kane goes to visit Baden and he's talking about Mollie and Baden calls him out and actually smiles. It was good to see him engage with a teammate and not just stare out the window. I know there is more to his story, and I can't wait to find out, but until then seeing him interact with teammates is both sad but entertaining when he engages. I was glad to see Kane and him talk and bond. I also enjoyed watching the girls rally around Mollie and offer their support. Even though Kane is not on the first line, the ladies of the first line made her feel welcome and a member of their WAGs group. Overall, a fun story with a few intense moments.

A great story!. 5 Stars Kane by Sawyer Bennett is the eighth book in the Arizona Vengeance series and it was sooo good! It can be read as a stand-alone, but I do recommend reading the others in the series as well. You would think after so many books in a series that it would be mundane. But let me tell you that Ms. Bennett continually amazes me with her imagination and her fresh and unique twists with storylines. Kane and Mollie were two incredible characters. I seriously loved them!! The ease of their relationship was my favorite thing about their story. Hot as hell chemistry, the friendship, and connection between them put the biggest smile on my face. Their journey was everything I thought it would be and then some. Full of love, friendship, and hockey, Kane is one story you do not want to miss!

A fresh friends to lovers story. Kane is a professional hockey player with the Arizona Vengeance. Molly is his best friend and she’s a travel blogger. While they don’t get to see each other in person a lot because of their jobs, there is no denying their bond of friendship. So when Molly comes to Kane needing supper after a traumatic event he takes her in no question. But over time their friendship turns into so much more. The issue is how can they maintain being friends and lovers when they both have jobs that move them around...a lot? Sawyer Bennett takes the friends to lovers trope and makes it fresh for us. You feel every emotion with these characters as they go on navigating their friendship and eventually more. The cast of characters from previous Arizona Vengeance books show up to help them navigate the way to their happily ever after. Plus as a bonus we get to spend some time with our favorite couples and see where they are at now. And we see where possible new books will be popping up in the future! It’s a win-win all the way around!!

Loved. Kane and Mollie have a great friendship which is a great foundation when they transition to lovers. They still need to learn a few things about each other but they are adorable and this book was well written and I couldn’t wait to see how it all ended!

Disappointed. Not my favorite book especially in this series. I have read them all and enjoyed them all but this was too boring to finish. I don’t have a problem bringing back characters from the other 7 books in this series but introducing each character from each book along with a recap of their stories took away form the Kane and Molly’s story. It was dragged out not going anywhere to begin with but then the added summaries of each character made me lose interest in this book all together.

Kane. An absolutely fantastic read . I love this series .

Great Vengeance addition. Kane is a great addition to the Arizona Vengeance family. A longtime friendship evolves into more following an unsettling experience. Love comes in all forms, sometimes starting small, and can grow into more, complete with misunderstandings and arguments. I enjoyed the story for the most part, not overly keen on the conclusion.

Great addition to the series. I love my visits to Arizona and I love meeting new players and catching up with old favourites from the Arizona Vengeance Hockey Team, this is book 8 and it’s Kane Bellam and Mollie Callister’s story. Kane is the Centre on the second line for the Vengeance and Hockey has always taken first place in his life, firstly because he loves the game and secondly because he has secretly been in love with his best friend Mollie who he has known since college. Mollie is a travel blogger and spends her life travelling the globe but when she turns up on his doorstep after her ex has threatened her, Kane goes into protective mode and there is no way the crazy ex is going to get close to the girl he loves. Kane knows he has to be on his A game if he is going to convince Mollie that they could have a future so will this couple cross the line of friendship.....guess you need to read the book to find that out. This book ticked all my boxes, it’s a sports romance with hunky swoon worthy players, it has a woman heroine we would all love in our corner, it has the perfect mix of passion, humour and suspense and it was great to have a connection to the Jameson Force Security guys as well as finding out how previous players are doing in lives. Great addition to a great series, another great read from the very talented Ms Bennett.

Loved it. From the first to the last chapter I was riveted to the story that Sawyer Bennett wove and couldn’t put it down. This is Kane and Mollie’s story, a friends to lovers story and one that drew me in and refused to let me go. Kane and Mollie have been fighting the attraction that they feel for one another for years, both fearing that it could ruin their friendship.However when an incident occurs while Mollie is travelling it is to Kane she comes to recover. The chemistry between them is off the charts and I loved the banter and humour that flowed between them. The fact that these two have been close friends for years, added an additional layer to my enjoyment of the story. Kane is so swoon worthy that you cannot help but fall for him. As always, it was great to catch up on the other couples of the Arizona Vengeance;I love getting updates on what is happening in their lives. Every time I read a book in this series, it feels like I am coming home to family. A great addition to what is one of my favorite series from Sawyer Bennett.

Entertaining off the charts banter!. Where do I even begin about Kane! I devoured this amazing story and it honestly left me gobsmacked and so looking forward to more of this series! Kane Bellan is a fun loving genuine man. The banter is off the charts and entertaining too. Kane has known Mollie for ten years as best friends. Can they really stay that way or is there a possibility for more? Mollie has a rather harrowing experience on her travels and goes to Kane to recover. What eventuates between them is drama, suspense, great friendships and witty conversations. The sizzling chemistry they have is undeniable but is it worth risking their friendship? I read this book in one sitting as I just couldn’t put it down. A definite must read and a fantastic addition to the Arizona Vengeance series.

Kane with a Vengeance. That was a great read. I love this series. Every player has a completely addictive story. Kane is no different. Can decades old friends become more? It was unexpected to have Mollie show up after being attacked and now stalked by the same person. Kane is her rock. I love how the other characters are always meshed in right back to Jameson Security...who help flush out her stalker. While the stories are usually short they are packed with hot sex, believable characters and a great entwined hockey family. I love these for easy reading with a group of characters I have come to love. I love how Mollie finally chose Kane over herself...Now we wait for the next...December.

After Mollie goes on a date with one of Kane's teammates, he realizes that he wants her for himself. Their relationship transitions easily from best friends to lovers. Once Mollie is feeling safe again she starts to itch to return to the road and when Kane proposes they start putting down roots their relationship becomes as cold as the ice he plays on. Sawyer Bennett truly knows how to write a hockey romance. I enjoyed Kane and Mollie's best friends to lovers story. They already had a great foundation that they built on nicely. I loved how Kane was willing to do whatever it took for him to make sure Mollie was safe but at the same time not take away from Mollie's strong independence. I loved the cameo from the Jamieson boys and can not wait to dive back into their world. It was great to catch up with all of the Vengeance members and their lives as well as a glimpse into Steele's book. I enjoyed Jeremy York and Lessa Lamb's job of bringing the characters to life.
