The Confectioner’s Guild. I loved this book! It was a little slow in the beginning and I thought kind of disjointed but, it all came together in the end! Loved it!

Fun Read. Witty and fun read.

Murder/mystery/romance with subtle use of magic. A worthy entry in an indie fantasy series with a strong thread of mystery/murder and a moderate degree of romance. I enjoyed the interesting twist with food magic, although magic is used rather sparingly to keep it fresh for future books. The main characters are interesting and reasonably complex with the exception of the irresistible, womanizing hunk. There is also the standard nasty beautiful girl, thankfully with very limited exposure. I was glad that the romance element was kept under control for the most part, although the author did resort to the old standby of an “unlikely couple rapidly falling in love.” I enjoyed this book and I have already purchased the next book in the series.

A Magical Read!!. This book was so well written and the story takes you on a ride as magical as the characters themselves!!!! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

A sweet read. Great book, a wonderful description of the cooking profession really pulls you in as if you are either cooking yourself or seated ready to be served the confectionery they are describing. Lots of twists and turns along the way. A true sleuth will find the murderer.
