Loved it. ARC Received for a honest review... as you may know it should know we met cash in the Love Hurts Duet. .. and as much as he totally pushed me off I just could not hate him and after reading From the First Verse.... Oh CASH CASH CASH.... ❤️ oh how I ❤️ you!!! Monica as I always say... YOU HAVE COMPLETELY OUTDONE YOURSELF!!! This book will bring ALL the tears so make sure the tissues are handy!!!! Cash all though he may be Dylan F***ing McGraw’s boy he gives me the Austin (from crave me) feels... cash - wanting noting more then to be a rock god and had his dad approve... gets sucked down a very dark & dangerous path of self destruction... Journey (aka our Junie) grew up loving Cash.. he was her first crush and love. And when he left her and his family to follow his dreams... and not return.. it left her crushed... I looooove that our Queen gave us cash’s pov or a more in-depth part on the Harley/Baby part.. to understand why he did/said what he did. I need Till the Last Lyric like yesterday!!!! Monica.. you never sease to amaze me... you are frigging amazing!!!! “I’m going to show you what love is, Cash McGraw! You’ll see! I’m going to show you!”

Deep. This was amazing!! I am now on pins and needles for the last part. It was, dark, gritty, and angsty. I am now more afraid of the last book. Mowing I am going to have to read the epilogue before I can read the rest.

Amazing book!. Wow!!! This was a phenomenal book! M Robinson outdid herself once again with From The First Verse. Her writing captures you and grips you by the heart. Emotional, raw and full of angst to the very last words. I wanted to hate Cash from the beginning with the way he was in the Love Hurts Duet, but seeing his point of view throughout this book is heartbreaking. This book definitely will give you all the feels just like all her other books! This one is now one of my favorites wrItten by M Robinson! I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for Til The Last Lyric!

Cash and Junie🖤. You know Monica *almost* had me fooled. I was soooooo close to asking her was she trying to write a slow burn because Cash was everything I expected. He’s the epitome of sex, drugs, and rock and roll from the beginning and I expected nothing less. But, then right when I thought I had everything figured out, there came Journey. Whew! I’m sure Cash felt the same way. You can feel the angst, passion, and hurt between Cash and Journey pouring off the pages. Of course Cash is flawed. He wouldn’t be a Monica hero if he wasn’t. But, Journey is a force to be reckoned with, like a typical M heroine. Right up until the very last line you’ll feel tied up in knots and by the end you’ll feel buzzed like you just left the most amazing concert of your life. I can’t wait for Cash and Journey’s conclusion!

Amazing. No words can describe how excited I was for this book. And let me tell you the hype building up to this release didn’t disappoint. Monica always knows how to draw us in and leave us wanting more. With Cash and Journey’s story you’ll feel the raw emotions of how they got to where they are. “Music is what feelings sound like.” It was great to see Cash’s side of things that have happened in previous books. Cash and Journey’s story is far from over and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds more and ends in the next book. Well done Monica, you definitely have another hit on your hands with Cash McGraw

Loved.. I am speechless with a torn heart, mind reeling and emotions are just raw. Monica Robinson has written one of her best works to date in this first book and of course packed with the angst in her style.

Perfection. Monica you evil 😈 woman you!!! I LOVE how your wicked mind works because it helps you create these beautiful amazing stories that leaves your readers like me emotionally distraught 😭 and WANTING MORE!!!! My heart ❤️ is literally hurting right now from Cash. Oh how Monica can make you feel every emotion of her characters. I just want to put my arms around Cash and hold him for life and take away his pain. I was so mad 😡 at Cash for what he did to Harley but I’m seeing a side of him I never expected to see. Let me not forget about “Little Miss Thang” Journey. I always love her fiery spirit and am so happy to see she still has that. I can’t wait to see wants to come of her and Cash....keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 for a happy ending!

Our Queen of angst did it again!. When I opened this book I knew I wouldn’t sleep til I finished it. This book has all the emotions and roller coaster ride. My head is spinning with all of the angst in it. I was so upset with Cash in Jackson and Harley’s book but reading Cash’s POV, my heart broke for him, over and over. I couldn’t help but to love Cash more and more. This book is phenomenal and you will not be disappointed. This is Monica’s best book to date! I highly recommend this book! You will love Cash and Journey as much as I do. I can’t wait for the second book “Til the Last Lyric”
