I moved closer to the little girl, afraid that our voices would be caught by the monitor.

I couldn’t put it down. The book started slow but I really could not put it down till I finished it!
Page Turner. This book kept me on my feet the entire time. I could not stop reading it. Truly fantastic, I highly recommend!
Great gothic mystery. A great gothic mystery that builds slowly and while the conclusion is somewhat predictable, the journey there is no less entertaining and enjoyable! Great vacation read!
First wife. Very good. I had to finish couldn’t put it down. I didn’t like that she told Sophie a different story than Lucy.
Good book intriguing story line. I loved until the last couple pages where the mother’s writing to her daughter. Don’t want to be a spoiler but a mother would never write to her daughter like that about her death.
The first wife. I knew by the title I’d enjoy this, no matter what the story was! And hearing what others said “you won’t be able to put it down!” I got quite intrigued. I think I figured it out by the time the heroine did, and I felt pretty good about that. Very unique story actually. It kept me reading!

The First Wife. At first I found the different voices and time shifts in each chapter disconcerting but was intrigued enough to keep reading. I’m glad I did! It was a complex plot with an unexpected conclusion.
The Last Wife. Interesting plot suited to someone wanting some light reading
Simple read. An easy read which was too formulaic and simple for my taste.
