Meh. This is her first book that I scrolled through most of. Disappointed. I usually love her stuff.

Dark Song. Another amazing and thrilling book by Christine Feehan. The beauty of Elisabet and old world Ferro make their journey together the best they can with love and devotion. You can’t help but want to read this story over and over.

Ya Killin Me. I have read so many of Christine Feehans stories but this was my least favorite of all. Not because of the main characters Elisabetha or Ferro but the horrible redundancy. The repetitiveness was pointless and trivial. We get that they speak another language! We get that she has some PTSD to overcome!! We get that they live outside their time but you can literally find the same phrase all over this book. This ends my saga of the Carpathians because I cannot take it anymore. Save yourself. Don’t buy.

Love the passion in the books. The adventure of each couple is intriguing and the passion with each other is wishful, only wanting it for myself.

Never disappoints!. I always look forward to Christine Feehan’s books. The detail is rich, the story flows so well and the many characters that she introduces,but only gives small pieces, about lets you know that there is definitely more story lines to come. I have been reading the Dark line for years and I definitely want them to continue. I also appreciate the length of her books. I am fast reader so being able to read for a couple days instead of few hours makes them worth every penny!

Love it 🥰. These books, I cherish if for the sheer pleasure of seeing each couple come together and their characters come to life. Although some parts repetitive, I’ve come to expect that and just simple skim over to the unknown parts that makes up these storylines. These books is all I read now. So many to keep me well entertained and satisfied in each and everyone of them. Some folks do complain of how something’s are repetitive but I also understand why. Never know if someone will start at the beginning of each series. I didn’t and had to do some back tracking to know who, what and where. I also love when they’re connected to others, I mean when we have known visitors and they’re given hope that their species continue to grow. I wish their was more trusting but also again, I understand why they can’t let their guard down especially since the vampires are now finding ways to hide themselves and it’s just makes me upset that these big beautiful strong men are so behind in the modern world. They have accumulated wealth so why do they know not know something’s of the modern world and by now should have more of a plan to defeat these vampires and their pawns. Anyways, nothing deters my enjoyment and happiness when they find their saucy life mates. It makes me happy too that the men do not control their women in some medieval attempts. Love this book. Love her coming into herself or I should actually say, finally able to be what she was born to be.. well done🌹

Dark Song. Christine Feehan. No disappointment here! Worth the wait!! You can feel the build in each book, towards a momentous point that will change everything. Something big is on its way, just hoping Christine Feehan could churn out more books in the series “Carpathians” the Dark series. What’s next !?!

Centuries earlier a teenaged Elisabeta was abducted by a Carpathian male nearing the end of his life of honor but in the ensuing years the male would turn vampire using and abusing our heroine, starving her in the hopes of recapturing his soul. Upon her rescue and recovery in the healing soil, Elisabeta would trigger Ferro Arany’s emotions, and find herself waking as the lifemate to an ancient warrior but all is not well as Elisabeta’s rescue has angered the master vampire, the remaining Malinov brother, and his vengeance will target many people at Tariq’s Carpathian compound. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Ferro and Elisabeta, as the master vampire enacts a well conceived and intricate plan of revenge against the Carpathian warriors. Elisabeta Trigovise grew up never knowing how to be a Carpathian female. Stripped of her memories of a time before her violent abduction, a fragile and broken Elisabeta struggled to perform the basic of needs yet within days of her claiming, our heroine would become one of the Carpathian’s most powerful females. As an ancient warrior, Ferro Arany knew very little about the modern world and battled to accept the rise of feminism in the Carpathian community thusly, Elisabeta, from a time long ago, is the perfect foil for a man who prefers his woman submissive and meek. The relationship between Elisabeta and Ferro is a fated mating. Elisabeta’s rescue and ultimately her voice would trigger Ferro’s colors and emotions, and in this there are no questions as to the reality and truth of who is her lifemate. Elisabeta struggled with her freedom, preferring or opting to have Ferro speak when spoken to including the inability to acknowledge her brother’s love. Ferro ids a warrior who never thought he would find his fated mate. His patience and need to protect the woman he loves manifests with songs of love, nature and a time long ago. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters. All of the Carpathians remain guarded at Tariq’s American compound. Several of the original Carpathians return to help fight the master vampire including Josef but much of the other’s presence is more by way of acknowledgement and mention. As to the master vampires, once again, Ferro recognizes a number of his former warriors and friends-the list of names and connections are many. If you are a long time reader of the Carpathian series you will recognize a familiar format and pattern to the author’s latest story line-reminiscent of Xavier’s attempts to destroy the Carpathian’s and of one woman’s ability to heal the wounded. Saying that, when an author recycles and repeats a previous formula, I question the author’s lack of innovation and imagination as he/she is relying on the success of a former story line arc. I also struggled with the heroine’s earlier fragility and inability of comprehend basic personal needs and survival skills, yet within days she is one of the most powerful females with abilities beyond comprehension, and is able to direct the most skilled of warriors. The information she reveals and her competence and skill level is a complete shift in direction to her initial introduction and behavior yet there is no mention of hidden abilities that seemingly manifested overnight. She waffled between powerful or apprehensive on numerous occasions. I would also like to note how Feehan’s vampires have evolved to modern day IT techs and wizards….something I didn’t see coming ! DARK SONG is an intoxicating tale. The premise is familiar yet captivating; the romance is seductive.

Incredibly Romantic. An absolutely amazing read. Christine Feehan has outdone herself. I loved Ferro and Elisabeta. Mix in the old favourites and it was pure joy. Ferro was an amazing lifemate to Elisabeta. Held captive for centuries and scared senseless, Elisabeta had a spine of steel. Ferro was there for her every step of the way. Incredibly romantic book. Just when I thought, I had things figured out, Christine threw a curve ball. I didn't see that coming and I am beyond excited for the next books in the series. Carpathians are love 💕 Made me realize why I love this so very much and why Christine Feehan is one of my favourite authors. Five amazing ⭐️s
