Hard Truth. I love her books! Use of GD is ridiculous, but where is the rest of the book? As if their lives were not hard enough! A baby at the end would have been nice!! Disappointed!

I have no words!. So I just finished this series & I am in tears! I’ve read just about every S.B book available & something has always drawn me to candle when he makes an appearance in the other stories but reading these, I’m in tears! What a story. I just I’m blown away. Oh my heart.

Excellent Read. I loved their story! I loved the characters! I wish it could of ended with her pregnant, but still great read! Only thing I didn’t like was it took 4 books to conclude!

wild. neil has always been my favorite book in the entire series, and tbh i didn’t think i would like candle. but WOW WOW WOW ! these last four books are everything ! couldn’t put this last one down, i wish i could give it 17184938 stars !

They are all good and oh so satisfying. As an old Fla girl I totally get mosquitos,palmettos,gators and salt water❗️ENJOY❣️

This series is insane. Candle/Tarquín and Shaila’s story is a pretty wild one. I was so mad that there was always a cliffhanger in the other books but I also understand that this story was pretty heavy and there’s no way it could have all been done in one book. This book wasn’t my favorite out of all of them but I still enjoyed it. It’s funny how I went from hating Candle in all of Sybil’s other stories to growing a soft spot for the guy. I’m so glad for Shaila and Tarquín finding their way back to each other. Thank you Sybil for giving us this story and always impressing us with your writing. Can’t wait for the next story 🖤

Excellent Series!. I went through all the emotions in this series. I enjoyed it! And I’m glad it tied in other characters I’d read in other books by the author.

The last 2 books were the best. I’m writing this review for all 4 books. Wasn’t expecting the first book to be from before Tarquinius escaping the compound. At first it started out great but got redundant and I kinda just wanted to move on. Book 2 was ehhhh as well felt like book 1 and 2 could have been condensed. But we got to see why Tarquinius was the way he was. I first read about him in Neils book and I did not like his character but know I understood why he was the way he was. But I did feel like his character in that book was totally different from how he was in these books. Which leads me to book 3 where we get to see what his time was like during Neils and Lunas encounter with him and Talerco but he was much for vocal with them all in their books and seemed like he was a good friend and in these books he is standoffish and rude to them. Glad Talerco was in this book but didn’t understand why he keeps leaving his S/O to rescue women. Kendall was also in this book and really not a big fan of her either especially in this book. Book 4 is about them actually coming together and forgiving their past was escaping a better ending of maybe her being with child finally . Book 3 and 4 also could have been put together. Giving it a 4 for the last two books . Just felt like his story could have been better. And his attitude towards others that helped him didn’t change even all those years of being out of compound life .

Team Tarquin. Loved the ending.. though I wish Sybil would continue to write about Tarquin and Shaila’s Happily Ever After. We Need More.. I simply can’t get enough.

Candle...flawed but beautiful. Hard Truth is the fourth book in the Alpha Anithero Series and boy....did it blow me away! I have been a fan of Sybil Bartel books, but she completely blew me away with this series and especially this book. There is so much love and heartbreak in this book. It was so beautifully written that I felt as though I knew these characters personally. Never has a storyline affected me the way this series has. It is gut wrenching at times and then it flips to bring the biggest smile to your face. Absolutely beautiful!! There are not enough words to explain how much I loved this book. Candle and Shaila are both flawed from their pasts, but not from things they chose to do themselves. They are strong and resilient to the people who try their best to bring them to their knees. But they show that love is stronger than hate. This is not a series anyone should miss. Again, thank you Sybil Bartel for this amazing story. You are the best!

Hard truth. Invested in the story but not my type of love language. Still happy I read it to finish the series.
