Fake. The female lead in this story was extremely unlikeable. I made it about halfway and stopped.

The Billionaire’s Fake Fiance. I loved this book!! It was witty, charming, and funny! I loved all the characters in the book and couldn’t wait for more throughout the book! It was such a fun read!!!!

Eh. The first few chapters I was willing to overlook the immaturity of the main girls because there were some legitimate funny moments and I’d liked other books by this author so I kept hoping it’d get better. Then halfway through, it became a different book. I saw the twist coming from a mile away because I’d read it before. Which brings me to my next point. Romantic tropes are fine. People know those and working within them is part of the genre. But if you’re going to go outside of the normal tropes, be original. If you’re going to blatantly rip off Nicholas Sparks, at least make the story good enough to be worth it. I think I’ve written two negative reviews ever and only write this one to warn you. I like this author. This was not an overall good book. Don’t let it give you a sour taste for her other good works.

My boyfriend Max Parker. Loved, loved this modern day love story of a pretend boyfriend who only becomes very real. The chemistry between Max and Charlotte is off the charts, witty banter, tension and fantastic sexiness these two are meant for each other. The connection that links them is a surprising story filled with both love and grief. It was nice how the author revealed this towards the very end to keep the reader guessing just a little bit. Readers not only will you be laughing but, there are some steamy scenes which will get you all hot and bothered. Enjoy. I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.

Must read!. This book is my favorite kind of book. The combo of witty banter and chemistry between the characters was perfect. It had me laughing. Not just light chuckle, but full on belly pain laughter. I absolutely loved to twists and turns. A lot of books I can figure out what’s typically gonna happen and this book kept me guessing. She really out did herself on this one. If I could give 10 stars I would. Don’t miss out!!

Loved it. I absolutely loved this book!!!! Charlotte was so funny with how angry she was when she lost her job and then anyone and everyone that would listen she told she was with Max. My favorite part was at the bar with the kiss. Max was a billionaire miss understood i think he came off a rough and tough one but deep down he was a good guy! The email banter was so funny i wish there was a lot more of it. It was well written, witty story that had a great HEA!

A must read!. What a tear jerker of a read! This hate/love romance read was entertaining from start to finish. Then we get to the chemistry between Charlotte and Max, it was fun, delightful, steamy and add in the twists that just made it emotional to the max. I was cheering for their HEA and with the unexpected that will give your heart the feels, this new release made for a wonderful story that doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait to read the last book in this fabulous series.

Falling for the Enemy!. Interesting twist in this story! Charlotte has lost her job and doesn’t know how she is going to afford her rent. Max has wanted to meet Charlotte, but is not sure how to go about it. Charlotte learns that she and her friends can benefit from throwing Max’s name around, so Max approaches her with a story of needing a fake fiancée. This story has some interesting twists in it, but it keeps your attention from the start. Great Read! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Entertaining and Fun!. Witty, funny and poignant… excellent read!

Sweet and Romay. This book had me close to tears from laughter to heartbreak to how sweet it was. This has all elements of real romances day not just something to far fetched to be true. I received this book as an ARC reader. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a true love story.

Must Read Romance. Charlotte is a young professional just starting out in the world of graphic design. Working for a company that has been bought out and then fired has her world spinning out of control. Wondering how she will pay her rent and continue to live on her own she turns to her friends and shopping for support. As Charlotte complains about Max Parker and how his company has destroyed her life, Charlotte is misheard and realizes that spinning a simple white lie has people bending over backward to help her because they think that Charlotte is Max's girlfriend. Things spin out of control when Max Parker confronts Charlotte about the lies but instead of asking her to simply stop, he asks her to become his fake fiance. Charlotte agrees but with a contract and a list of do's and dont's. Teasing, heat, sexual chemistry make this a must-read! J.S. Cooper has written another page-turning, fun, smile-worthy book!

Max and Charlotte - a love story. 4.75 stars Prepare to sink your teeth into this happy, feel good storyline with a twist and once you start, you will not be able to put it down. Charlotte is a warm and caring woman who goes through a huge life change when the company she works for is bought out and leaves her jobless. Max is the sexy billionaire who has taken over Charlotte’s company and in essence gets her fired. The banter and attraction between the two is off the charts. Ms. Cooper really puts these characters through their paces and the hijinks that go on between them is rip-roarious. I cannot wait for the next book in this series! Funny entertaining. This book is very funny. Charlotte pretends to be the girlfriend of a billionaire she had never met. Max finds out what she is doing. The chemistry between them is off the charts. The ending is unexpected. Must read

Little white lie turns into real love. Charlotte looses her job due to a takeover so she fuming mad complaining to her friends about Max Parker who she thinks is some stodgy old man. She’s overheard by a hostess at a restaurant that she and he friends are trying to get a table at and out spirals the lie that she is Max’s girlfriend. Charlotte continues to drop his name and before you know it her little white lie spirals out of control. This was a great quick read with humor and swoon worthy moments. Average writing. Not much depth to the writing style. Characters were a bit unbelievable.

Funny. Charlotte is out of a job and very upset at Max, whom she blames for her unemployment. At a lunch with her besties the hostess overheard her say Max Parker’s name and suddenly doors are opening for her and she decides to drop his name several more times. Of course it can’t be that easy, and soon enough Charlotte has to face Max. This is a fun, flirty and in the end a sweet romantic story which I enjoyed very much.

Fake. I loved this book. Charlotte had me shaking my head and laughing. Lies on top of lies to the one person she shouldn’t had lied too. The person who turn out to be the fake boyfriend. The twist toward the end I don’t see that coming in the beginning of the book. Great job.

Funny and Swoony. This short read is hilarious, sexy, and so sweet. To be honest, I wish this book had been longer and a dual POV so that we could get a better glimpse at Max and Charlotte’s past demons. That being said, this book really is amazing and there is absolutely NO dull moment in Charlotte and Max’s story. I love JS Cooper’s instalove- like stories and adored the interactions between every character especially Charlotte’s best friends. Charlotte is one of my favorite JS Cooper heroines! She’s witty, brave, fun, is hysterical, and outgoing. Max is such a catch! He’s rich, caring, handsome, quick-witted and brings all the banter! I could not put this book down and throughly enjoyed this couple.

The Billionaire’s Fake Fiancée. This has to be the best ever novel J.S. Cooper novel! I read in one night. I couldn’t put this down. This book started off so funny by the lies Charlotte tells to get things in the city. Thinking that it wouldn’t hurt but it gets into the paper and then Max finds out. Omg how embarrassing!!! I love the back and forth of emails from Max and Charlotte. Max needs Charlotte just has much as she needs him. This book was hot, sexy, and so dang funny. You will love reading this book.

Enjoyable well rounded read!. Sooo good! I enjoyed this book so much. It had sad parts, happy parts, hilarious parts (even a tad of mystery). It had it all. I haven’t felt so into a book in a while. Char and Max are just too cute. The tension is there from the beginning and you get to enjoy all of it. Don’t forget about the plot twist! It’s in there and you’re going to love it. Anabel and Emily also just take you on their own journeys. They are just amazing friends. It’s been a while, for me, where the friends are actually good genuine people. They were refreshing. Another thing that I loved were the emails. Just you wait and see. It’s an amazing read.

A sweet heartfelt love story. Such a sweet love story that I couldn’t put down. Charlotte and Max leave your feeling good and wanting more. A young woman with a broken heart and a man with mystery surrounding him. Add in the chemistry and the laughs between them, what more could you want, and the fact that there is such great supporting characters that you can’t wait to get more stories for makes this book even better! Charlotte and Max are what love stories are all about!!!

DEFINITELY worth the read!. This was my first read by J. S. Cooper and I couldn’t have enjoyed it more! I instantly loved and laughed along with Charlotte and her friends. Max, I’m pretty sure I had hearts in my eyes and a flutter in my heart over him! Max and Charlotte’s chemistry is steamy, funny and overall just perfection. Without giving anything away this definitely isn’t just your average “fake fiancée” trope and I LOVED that it took me by surprise. J. S. Coopers ability to write details and dialogue that comes of as so smooth and effortless is incredible. Just loved everything about this book. I have so many books by her in my TBR and I can’t wait to read them all. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this book! You won’t regret reading this it. And then she discovers she isn't the only one telling lies and keeping secrets...Loved this book and highly recommend it. Can't wait for the next 2 books about her friends. Really Funny. A really funny book with laugh out loud moments but also some touching poignant moments. At first I was a bit confused about Charlotte and Brandon’s relationship but I should have trusted that all would be revealed. Charlotte had me in stitches during the first part of the book with her hilarious OTT drama but I also found her to be likeable unlike some other OTT characters in other books. Her unlikely relationship with Max was a little unbelievable at times but again became more feasible as the book went on and completely understandable by the end. I really enjoyed this book.

Entertains and witty. I smiled, l laughed, this book was so entertaining from start to finish. I just loved the interplay between the two main characters. Enjoyable read. If you have read books by this author before you known that it going to be a page turner. Right from the start the plot drew me in. The chemistry is great and the characters bring the story alive on the pages. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

The best parts are the email exchanges between Max and Charlotte as they are fun and will make you smile and laugh!
