Loved it! Such a fun and delightful read!. Lila Monroe writes some of the best in feels books that always leave me with a smile on my face. In The Romance Plan, book 5 in her Cupid’s series, it was no different. Each book in the series can be read as standalones, but honestly, they are truly must-reads. They are all fun, sexy and just plain delightful reads. In The Romance Plan, we get Eliza, a book editor who loves her job, but the company she works for is not doing well. And the man she shared a delicious kiss with recently turns out to be her new workaholic and distant new boss. They can keep it professional, right? But they quickly realize it is not so easy to turn off the chemistry that sizzles between them. What follows is a story that will have you laughing and just getting lost in the story. A delightful homage to Pride and Prejudice. This is the 5th, and last, book in Lila Monroe’s Cupid series. While the first book in the series was a modern twist on Cyrano de Bergerac, this book pays homage to Pride and Prejudice. Liam Sterling is the illegitimate son of Frank Sterling, owner of the Sterling Publishing Empire. When Frank passes away, Liam is brought in as a consultant to save the floundering company. Eliza is a Junior Editor that just had a very successful book. When Liam tells Eliza that she needs to get the book from famous romance author Verity Lange, whom the company paid a $2mil advance, or she may not be around for long. Of course, this sets up a delightful forbidden romance between the prideful Mr. FitzwilLiam Darcy, oops I mean Liam, and the lovely Elizabeth Bennett, I mean Eliza. This is a thoroughly delightful book. I received an ARC of this book from the author for my honest review.

Love their chemistry 😍. I love Lila Monroe’s books. They never disappoint. So of course, we have another stellar read in her Cupids series. Eliza is a junior editor, helped put Katie on the map in The Break-Up Artist, and is sweet & quirky & fun. Liam, the new boss who comes in to try to salvage the company, is kinda grouchy, closed off & kind of no nonsense. Though definitely easy on the eyes 😍. Eliza goes toe to toe with him, fights for what she believes in, and finds a way to break down his walls. Liam starts to realize there might be more to life then work and tearing companies apart. Their chemistry is spicy, their connection is so loving, and I just couldn’t get enough of them 😍❤️

Couldn’t Get Enough!. I absolutely love the characters in this book. Their story is great, the connection is good. In the end, I‘m rooting for them as a couple. There are just a few things that bothered me from reading other novels in this series. (Possible spoilers ahead!!) 1. Isn’t Katie supposed to be in California?? 2. The story reminds me a LOT of Natalie’s story.

GreatOne-Liners. I hate to sound like a repeat but Ms. Monroe has me rolling on the floor once again. The instant chemistry is out of this world and the main characters are not only likable but do they ever push each other's buttons! I know that when I pick up her books, I am going to start highlighting all the great one-liners 🙂 I would absolutely recommend this book as it is funny and a steady page flipper.

Fun entertaining read. 4.5 Stars for The Romance Plan This author certainly knows how to write romantic comedy and if that’s a genre you love, you will want to pick up a copy of this book which is Eliza and Liam’s story. Eliza loves her job as a junior editor at Sterling Press, she loves the authors she works with and she loves her coworkers and her boss is simply the best but when he dies suddenly her work life is turned upside down when Liam takes over the business. Liam is used to going into companies and selling them off bit by bit and that’s his plan with Sterling Press until he comes across Eliza.... This book ticked all my boxes, the banter us witty and natural, the characters are adorable with sizzling chemistry and I loved the whole office romance. This is the last book in the Cupids Series and it’s a great book to round the series off with. Loved it.

An entertaining, lighthearted read!. The Romance Plan is an easy to read story centering on Eliza and Liam. Its entertaining and lighthearted with characters you would like to be friends with! The banter was great and it was nice to see characters from the previous books in the Cupid series. I rather liked Eliza, who strived to go out of her way for her clients, especially a rather outlandish one in particular, to help get the company she works for not to go under. Little does she know who will be determining whether the company will survive or not. Liam is there to handle things as it was his late fathers company. Did they really kiss that night? How can she move forward with him as her boss? What seems like a love hate relationship, things get decidedly interesting for the pair. It was an enjoyable read!

Enjoyable. Lila Monroe is an author who writes romantic comedy well. Her books are, sweet, spicy, romantic as well as funny and you cannot help but fall in love with her characters and the story she weaves. Ms. Monroe had me from chapter one in this fun and entertaining read about Eliza and Liam; I loved them both separately and particularly together. There was something about these two that got to me, particularly Liam. They were so easy to like and relate to and I could easily imagine being friends with the two of them. It was also great to see some familiar characters show up , it added an additional layer to my enjoyment. An office romance story that left me with a smile on my face and was a good end to the series.
