SO RIDICULOUSLY UNBELIEVABLE. DNF@48%. Skimmed and skipped until I couldn’t take this nonsense anymore. Plain and simple this is one of the dumbest books I’ve ever read. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Cute. This book was not what I expected which was both good & bad. The chasing factor was cute but when we got to the truth behind Rowan the intimate scene with them up until they had sex was annoying. Also the plot twist was also irritating. I wanted more exploration of their romance but it was good overall just a little underwhelming.

A bit different. It’s different than other novels I’ve read and it’s definitely sweet. It’s not my favorite but I’m glad I read it. It’s not reread worthy but very cute.

Wow. Just amazing

Good story nice plot. Cute love story with a bit More character development and back story on what the couple is going through. Nice to have a few chapters on the boys thoughts.

Good start. I actually did enjoy the majority of the book; the beginning started out well, but the ending was not very satisfying and seemed kind of rushed. The whole dad & Annica plot had potential but really wasn’t developed. Rowan & Demi didn’t really develop at all; she never dealt with Justin & didn’t deal with annica. She let others deal with it & it was so unsatisfying that the only reason annica was out of the picture was because of her injury. I would’ve liked her to truly stand up to annica. Likewise for the dad, nice to see coach step in but the dad plot seemed rushed as it came so late in the story & only added drama for a few chapters. It just seemed partially developed. Also I understand rowan’s reasoning for the annica thing, but the fact that he knew it would hurt D the most & still did it & the fact Demi was so easy to forgive him, it felt unusual for character & very rushed as an ending. Love happy endings but this one just didn’t seem right as they literally went from fighting to I love you in a few sentences & engaged in the next chapter (although it was set a few years later). It felt kind of like whiplash. Overall, I liked probably 80% of the book and the development of a relationship between D&R but the last quarter of the book was hard to read. Adding all the drama without fully developing it, left room for only a rushed ending that I almost DNF. Love your other works, especially Roan’s sorry, but this one wasn’t my favorite. Strong start but a weak ending & development, so I would give it 3.5/5 (rounded up to 4).

Campus player. I was expecting a little more heat. Yeah the descriptions were really good and all but halfway through the book and nothing yet. It a cute romantic novel. A little disappointed with the plot and the character development.

Not you average sports romance. I loved Campus Player, it’s every bit the amazing college/sports romance except both Rowan and Demi were athletes which I absolutely loved! I expected this to be along the same lines as other sports romances were they both hate each other but in reality that’s not the case at all. This was more of a story of judging a book by its cover on Demi’s part. Rowan was a complete surprise for most of the book, he is hard working, dedicated and open and honest about his feeling and pretty much lays it out on the table for Demi when the time finally came down to it. Demi is strong, beautiful, super smart and a brilliant soccer player. Deep down she has feelings for Rowan but thinks he is nothing but a player. The sexual tension between Rowan and Demi are off the charts hot. I think was a great story well written, flowed nicely and gave you some great feels. The side characters are great and I really hope we get to see more about Brayden and Sydney there is something popping off there and I need more. This was the perfect college sports romance!

Great book!. I have read all of Jennifer’s books and have not been disappointed, yet. I hope she comes out with a book on Sydney and Brayden. I would have loved to know why her jealous mentee treated her that way in the book. I didn’t like how things ended with her twisting her ankle. It would have been nice if Demi handled her differently by putting her in her place.

Good read. Slow starting really slow but it was a nice read good characters although the part about his dad could of been more intense and his apology/explanation was pants lol but the ending was very sweet

Disappointed. This book is so terribly written I’m so disappointed. Both Rowan and Demi have the same inner dialogue making it hard to believe it’s written in two different perspectives. Not to mention the dialogue reads more like a 50 year old than a 20 year old.

Don’t even bother. I deserve a goddamn meddle for actually finishing this book because by god it sucked. I honestly don’t know why I continued past the first chapter because at no point was it worth it. I’ve read this author before and enjoyed her writing well enough but this fell well below the mark. I thought that a lot of things were randomly added to give the illusion of a plot line and depth when there wasn’t any. I don’t think I can properly verbalise how disappointing this book was and what a struggle it was to read. Do yourself a favour and don’t read it.
