One of my favorites. I remember reading this book after seeing the movie adaptation. Even as a teen I could appreciate well written stories like this one. It still makes me smile and cry now even after 17 years. It's my absolute favorite novel of his.

Beautiful!. I read this in freshmen year, 2 years ago and loved it very much. I wish to read it again but I figured I shall give it a review so others can know how good this book is. At first, I wasn't so sure about it. And to be honest, we always had to read for 30 minutes in English class so I would get a random book that looked interesting depending on the cover. I saw A Walk To Remember and read the description. It seemed interesting so I took it and started reading it. I figured as I always did, that I would return it and pick a different book the next day but I didn't. I even snuck it in my backpack to keep reading it at home! That's how much I loved it. I soon finished it and was in tears, the book is definitely better than the movie. I wasn't aware of a movie until I saw it on Netflix last year and remembered it was from a book I read so I watched it. A few parts were different and that kind of bothered me but of course a movie can only have so much from a book, it was great nonetheless. But I recommend to read the book first, you will not regret it.

Good. I thought this was a good book, much different than the movie but in a good way. It was also very easy to read compared to other authors, can breeze through it in just a couple of days.

Simply amazing. Marvelous.. In ways that I could say that this book is simply heart warming. I had watched the movie but I feel that the movie had things that didn't align. Don't get me wrong the movie was an amazing hit. I will have that movie as my favorite movie of all times. I'm not a big fan of reading, but this book ,is just simply remarkable . I found out so much of the book than the movie and it had a better understanding of what happens. I would recommend teens, adults and even the elderly to read this amazing book. Of love, and courage, and to show that God and the individuals in this world have good in them and love can conquer anything. And in the plus side I read this on Christmas Eve and Christmas. I could say it was worth it for the Christmas spirit.

Good Read!. A Walk to Remember, by Nicholas Sparks, follows Landon Carter and his story of learning more about himself and how he feels for the “nerdy” Jamie Sullivan. Landon is your average teenage boy. He only thinks about himself and his image. Thought the story and going to dances and helping in plays he first learns to tolerate spending time with Jamie, even if it embarrassed him. This later turns into a romance with a twist ending. In this coming of age story you can find drama mixed with romance. Now I have never been one for drama filled books but that all definitely depends on the person. Even for me who usually doesn't enjoy these types of books it was still a good read I didn’t want to put down. I would recommend it for those who enjoy a good romance book that's full of twists and new surprises. Overall I enjoyed reading this book and believe it is very well written and interesting! For a girl around this same age of the characters in the book, it makes me think and questions many things about life I probably wouldn't think to ask before, making it even harder to put down.

Fantastic. This is an amazing book. Made me cry. So different from the movie (which i loved) but in the book, I finally understand why it's called A Walk to Remember.

ABSOLUTELY MARVELOUS!. I loved this book so much I couldn't put it down and finished it in 2 days! It was very well written and is a real tear jerker! I have never cried about a book before and this book had me go through a whole box of tissues! I would highly recommend it.

Marvelous. As I sit here wiping away tears, I feel compelled to write this. If you've never read this book before, I promise it is not a choice you will regret. A touching story of what true love is supposed to be. In no way do I bash the movie, but this book is nothing short of marvelous.

Easy read-- very good, great plot. Only other book by N. Sparks I've read was "Dear John" and I had mixed emotions about it.. But this book was very good! It was well written and very engaging. Bought it because I liked the movie but as with any motion picture, it didn't resemble the book's plot. Book was very good nonetheless.

I absolutely love this book, I had read this book Years ago and decided to read it again, I enjoyed reading it for the second time just as much as the first, it’s such a sweet story about being in love and how god can work in such mysterious ways! It’s very easy to fall in love with the characters of the book, and the story flows so nice, I recommend this book to anyone who is needing a good cry or even someone who is needing to find some faith, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing, just Amazing. This is my new favorite book. It moved me to tears many times throughout, and I could not put it down. It was amazing, and really made me step back and take a look at life from the view of Jamie, her optimistic outlook on life, and how different people choose to see and live it. This is a book about life, happiness, and the true meaning of what it is to be in love.

A Walk To Remember a good book?. I really did enjoy reading the book "A Walk to Remember." I would rate the book an 8.5 out of 10. In my opinion it is better then the movie. I think that not all people would like this book because it is written as a sad love story and not everyone likes that, but I do. With Nicholas Sparks books you will never be disappointed, he knows how to add enough detail so you can imagine it, instead of giving it away. The book "A Walk to Remember" is taking place in a teens life, they are not fully adults yet, they are kids so that helped me knowing that they are near the same age as me, but they are still a little older. A Walk to Remember is a wonderful book, it is a perfect like read for most teens and adults. This novel reminds me of a book "The Fault in Our Stars" both books are about love, and sicknesses. They aren't the exact same but they are somewhat close.

Reply to book A Walk to Remember. From a student's point of view, who is in the sixth grade, I think this book is emotional, which helps me understanding deeper things. Also since i have seen these kind of emotional problems, I like this book way better, it made me visualize what happened. I think that this is a really great book, not just because it relates to other things i have seen, but because i can understand these kind of things. I am not only a kid who has a different understandings of love, but I'm also a kid who needs to learn more about these kind of different things, knowing love is not the only important thing. In school, sometimes i lose hope, knowing some of the work i receive from my teacher is too hard i want to give up. But some people just cheer me up, my friends, who is there for me, supporting when some things are new to me. My friends show some part of Jamie, being kind. I know i am kind of talking about my life, but all i want to say, this book is a great example for not only adults but also for kids in my age. Showing that there are more things important in life, love, kindness and caring for God and believing in him.
