Beyond belief. Great book, easy read. Unbelievable story that should give hope to others struggling with addiction.

Wow. As a baseball fan and a Florida marlins fan, I admire Josh Hamilton all the things he went through and how he let the Lord take over his life. As a police officer I deal with these type of people and will definitely recommend this book to anybody struggling with addiction. God bless you Josh.

Truly Amazing!!!. I've always enjoyed watching Josh play, one of my favorite athletes (I have been a Texas Rangers fan since I was a little girl), but after reading this book I have a new respect for him. A truly amazing story and a must read for anyone as it is so inspirational.

Wasted my money. I understand Josh is human and has been battling addiction for many years. I hope someday he will find peace, and stay clean and sober. But, I think this book was written too soon in his recovery. The audiobook is very good, and the message is inspirational. But, it’s now only a good story. I wish him the best as he continues his journey in recovery.

Motivational. This is a great story about man's addiction and his recovery to being one of the best baseball players the game today. Josh Hamilton doesn't push religion on you just tells you the story on how christ saved his life. I highly recommend this book for all to read.

Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Nothing else to explain this book.

Great message. One night I sat in a small room at work when the 2008 home run derby came on. I had never watched and haven't watched one since. But that night I remember calling everyone I knew to watch Josh Hamilton crush ball after ball. Fast forward to July 2015. I was getting a hair cut and talking about baseball to my female barber. I began talking about watching that 2008 derby. She told me I have to read this book, beyond belief. Little did she know, I began my own road through addiction of prescription opioids around 2012 and finished a rehab in 2014. I have told people several times that I no longer believe in coincidences. I guess Josh and I have that in common. As well as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Inspirational. A must read!

The title of the book says it all.. I've read a lot of books about recovering drug addicts and their road to recovery, but this one hit home. I myself don't have a substance problem, but I found myself relating to different scenarios throughout this book and could relate them to different aspects of my life. I recommend this book to anyone seeking guidance in their life. I promise you this will give you a different kind of respect for those trying to straighten up their lives whether they are having a substance abuse problem or any kind of addiction they are trying to recover from. 5/5 stars all day baby!! Btw GO RAYS!!!!

Must read. Just finished this book tonight and can't say a bad thing about it. This book was written very well in first person. Josh Hamilton is a true inspiration and should be looked at as a true hero and not what he formerly was before he got sober. What a great book!!!

Fantastic. This is a great story. As a baseball fan during a time where performance enhancing drugs are prevalent, I have a greater appreciation for Josh's talent. I'm happy that he's cleaned up and I wish that more people could battle addiction successfully.

Amazing. I purchased this book after hitting rock bottom in my own life. Never a reader, nor a man of Faith...but definitely a fan of Josh Hamilton and the Texas Rangers. Less than two weeks later...I have found some guidance from a higher power. A feeling I've never had before and hope that will help guide me for the rest of my life...to be a Good Father, Husband...and most of all, a good ME. I always have loved baseball and never into really into books but wow the moment I picked up this one I was drawn into a personal life of one of the greatest current ball players. A must read for anyone as well as family member or friend whom deals with personal demons that steal away what blessings that are meant for us all that believe. Touching story. Josh is so inspiring. He really is an incredible ball player with loads of talent but a horrible drug & alcohol addiction that he encountered after high school. It's really amazing how he got out of his addiction and chased his dream of being a professional ball player. This book made me love watching Josh more, because he had gone through so much. A really touching story that hopefully has passed for good.

What resulted was a peace and calm he could not describe. How was he to know that God had a bigger plan for his life? Ultimately, a new calling in life Josh believes was gifted to him from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I could not put the book down, Truly amazing!

We can all relate. Very inspiring. You don't have to be addicted to drugs to relate. We all have problems and Josh's openness is encouraging an inspiring and I don't even watch baseball.

Beyond Belief. There is nothing better, more pleasing, and inspiring for me, than a true story with a happy ending. Here's the story of an anomaly, a guy with talent beyond belief, who almost lost everything. With Gods grace (Good Orderly Direction), he learned how (Honesty Openminded Willingness) to get sober and receive Grace (God's Riches At Christ's Expense).
