Without Remorse. The Best novel from Tom Clancy, was unable to put down. Read from start to finish without stopping. The movie was horrible and totally unlike the book. A must read for Tom Clancy Fans.

Not into books like this but This is a Great Book. Cant remember what drew me to this book....but this is the best book. I have tried to read other Tom Clancy books but never was pulled in like this one did. Maybe its the lead characters. Is just a great story. Would read it again and again.

Great book!. This thriller is "Death Wish" for military techno-geeks. From Vietnam to the mean streets of Baltimore, the action is relentless. I have read several Clancy books and this is one of my favorites.

Without Remorse (Tom Clancy). Tom Clancy is my favorite author and Without Remorse is my favorite Tom Clancy novel. It is gritty, personal, deeply character driven and even somewhat inspirational.

Good read. This was a bit off from the normal Clancy work but it was still a good read. It was a bit confusing at times as it jumped from one place to another but I did enjoy it. Few loose ends that I would have liked to see wrapped up.

Great book; horrible TV Amazon movie. This is one of Clancy’s best. The only Clancy book that revolves around John Clark and tells his back story. If you haven’t read the book but started watching the Amazon Prime Video movie and we’re disappointed, I definitely recommend you read the book and don’t waste time with the movie. Once again Hollywood has managed to screw up a great book when transforming it to the book screen. I love Michael B. Jordan as actor, but he isn’t John Clark. He’s a terrible John Clark. Casting Jordan as Clark is almost as bad as the decision to have a Black woman take over as the next James Bond.

Another great one!. At least my 3rd read of this novel. Always intriguing with plots intertwining and eventually becoming a single strand. I have read all of the Clancy novels. This one builds as much background for Clark as Patriot Games did for Ryan.

Without Remorse. I’ve stopped reading this book. I have enjoyed some of the author’s other books but this one seems like he went out of his way to tell some of the most disgusting and morbid tales about killing people. This is not entertaining. It’s like watching a horrible train wreck. Fortunately, I quit reading to minimize exposure to what I feel can only be pandering to borderline sociopaths. I’m wondering if this encourages revenge seekers. Don’t know but wondering. Yep, that’s how I really feel. Hope this is just a blip in his writing.

Puzzle Piece. This is my second time around reading "Without Remorse". Even better the second time some 15 yrs. later. Clancy paves the road for Clark, often a supporting role in the unfolding career of Jack Ryan. The novels featuring Ryan are usually the more popular because of the movies made about them. To read this is to find the missing puzzle piece, giving you a greater grasp of who Clark is, and why men like him are needed in this world. You will not be able to put it down.

Fantastic. Clancy's ability to draw you in and keep you invested is so evident in this masterpiece of intrigue and suspense. If you enjoy the 'revenge' theme this book is for you. A 'can't put it down' thriller.

An awful story. I love Tom Clancy and have many of his books in my library. This book is disturbing and unnecessary. The absolute vulgar abuse to women throughout every single storyline is hideous. Where he got this is really unclear. Why so many people love it is horrifically disturbing as well!!!!! The only Tom Clancy book I never finished

Always A Great Read. While the character in the movie was based on this book, that’s where the resemblance ends! The book is an amazing read even after 5-6 times. Don’t let the movie discourage you, the book is 1,000 times better!

A must read.. It's always awesome to read a book and at the end of the book swear that the characters are living. Even after my third time reading this book (first time on my iPad) I couldn't put down the book. You won't be disappointed if you buy it.

Great. start to the Jake Ryan Books!

A great and exciting read. Kelly is a well written character that has more to give than just a well placed bullet. With a story that has you rooting and anticipating the next move I love reading this book. When I recommend a Clancy novel this is always included.

TC's Without Remorse: It's in the details!. First book read on an iPad. The details of character buildup made it unable to put down, even this new format. The suspense of what was next (even when the story told you) was amazing. I wanted to know how and every detail. Not that many before me don't already know this, but this was a really good book.

My favorite book of all time. As a Jack Ryan fan this is a must read to understand John Clark’s origin. The book involves numerous story lines, great action as you’d expect from Clancy and a compelling story line that engages you from the outset. Probably read this 10 times already and am sure I will read it at least 10 more!

Wonderful read. Great to read a book where the writing style is both riveting (in the adventure sense) and tender (bring one to tears). Of late books in this genre seem to have forgotten how to so both. It's not enough to relate what's happening and what's said; it's also important to help the reader see the environment and see what's going on in the characters' heads too. Recent Clancy books have been focusing more on the first two aspects of writing and much less on the last two, if at all.

Fantastic, On the edge Read. Great book from the very beginning all the way to the end it was really enthusiastic and fun to read. I looked forward to this book more than any television show or movie I ever have previously and I’m glad it took me as long to read it as it did because I got to enjoy it for a long period of time unlike some of my faster or weekend reads. Thanks again Tom, You always get me!

Without Remorse. I could not put this down. I have read it in hardback, paperback, and now electronically. This is a must read for any thing to do with Jack Ryan. This is his beginning. The infamous Mr. Clark shows his ruthless side and his soft side in this intense thriller.

Without Remorse. A very typical and excellent Clancy effort. Just like so many other Clancy novels, he weaves a series of multiple story lines into a tapestry of intrigue. The hero of this story is driven by justifiable rage and revenge. If you like seeing the good guys making the bad guys pay, at any cost, this is a good book for you. I found it hard to put this book down and wanted to read it as quickly as I could, all the time wishing it wouldn't end.

Would make a great movie. I loved the story, a little long at times but glad I persevered. Look forward to more.
