Amazing!. This book is a bit more serious and dark than the first four books of Harry Potter, but is an incredible novel and I recommend it to everyone ages ten to fourteen. Will start book two ASAP!

Really good!!. I read this book for my needed book for English, and I LOVED it. It has an interesting plot, many twists and turns, and the language isn’t too hard. It is a little big, and you have to keep track of who the characters are, but it’s still an amazing book.

Amazing!. This series is like an adorable version of Harry Potter. The characters are lovable, but there are many big concepts between the lines about friendship and loyalty. A fantastic series!

Best Series I've Read. Angie Sage's Septimus Heap book series is by far the best novel series I have ever read. Her books are fascinating and I find it hard at times to put them down. I will read for hours captivated by the adventures the characters go through and I laugh at times at the humor she puts in her books. I found that book one "Magyk" is my favorite but thats mainly because its the one that opened up this world and ushered me in. I have all seven of her books on iBook and I haven't regretted a single purchase. Each book keeps me on the edge of my seat and I find myself cheering for the good guys. The only thing I regret is the end to her series. I will be sad when I read the last book, which is the one I'm on now, but I will just end up opening book number one again to delve into the wonderful world of magic, castles, dragons and all kinds of adventures. I can't wait to see what adventures the last book, Fyre, holds.

Needs more. I really like the story and all but I think it needs more characterization and more personality

Best!. Loved this book! A great read :) When you start it though, don't expect Harry Potter, because the only relation between the books are the wizards and magic (or magyk) really, everything else is different.

Indescribable. This is hands down the best story I have ever heard / finished reading. Having full taken in the magnificent imagery and amazing storyline cover to cover 3 times now, I can honestly say I have never been more taken away. This story really let's you into the world of Septimus as do the rest of the books. I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone and everyone it would be a shame not to read this! I for one would not want to be in the world were I had not found this incredible novel. Thank you Angie, and mark!

Just as good as when I was a child.. I remember reading this book in my elementary classroom, and recently decided to reread it as an adult. It is just as good, if not better! The plot lines and characters are all so complex and intricate, and the way they all interconnect is incredible. I love the writing style, and this is one of my most favorite series of all time. I can’t wait to reread the rest of them!
