A Masterpiece. What an incredible story-- truly captivating from the first page to the last!

Awesome Book💎. Very good book really worth your money. READ IT!!!!!😝👍👍👍👍👍

Wonderful!. I will probably wait until my children are 8 or older before sharing this book with them, but I didn't want to put it down. It was a complete surprise, unpredictable and mesmerizing. The use of language made it a joy to read. Adults will absolutely enjoy Bod's tale and the fantastical world where he resides.

Hauntingly Good. I quite liked this book. I go back and forth a lot on Neil Gaiman. I like his ideas, but not always his writing, and sometimes his characters are grand, but sometimes not. I adore Stardust, for example, but could never really get into American Gods. The Ocean at the End of the Lane lies somewhere in the middle. But I LOVED The Graveyard Book. Bod is a perfectly likable character. He is sweet and endearing, while also being very prone to trouble and doing the very opposite of what he has been told. I liked Sylas. I liked Liza Hempstock. I love the fact that there are three different books with the Hempstock women in them, and I like how that ultimately plays into the story from The Ocean at the End of the Lane. I like that Bod is always genuinely apologetic. I like the world that Gaiman builds. It is just one step over the line from ordinary to curious. He's very good at the aspect of "just beyond". Just beyond the gate, just beyond the wall, just down the lane... there is a world of magic. All in all, this is an excellent book. The ending is sweet and sad, and I won't give it away - you'll just have to read for yourself.

Intriguing. Neil Gaiman is the Tim Burton of the literary world! Ghouls, ghosts and odd characters abound in this fantasy set in a graveyard in England. A young baby miraculously escapes being murdered along with his family and is the brought up by ghosts in a graveyard and his guardian Silas until he is a young adult. His name is Nobody Owens. Someone is still out to kill him, but he has the underworld on his side... The story is both touching and suspenseful and enjoyable. The prose is literate and flows extremely well. Reading Neverwhere was my first experience reading Neil Gaiman's books. I found it to be like reading a modern version of "looking through the glass darkly" aka Alice in Wonderland, and thoroughly enjoyed it, as I did this book. Imaginative, very well written, fantasy filled. The only caveat is that these books are a bit "different" and perhaps lack mass market appeal. That being said, please try it on for size!

yes!. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME

amazing. one of the most interesting books i’ve ever read

Not just for kids!. I heard this author interviewed on NPR and was enticed to read the book. I am a former high school literature teacher and couldn't help but to read this on a more intelligent level. The characters are perfectly developed, the themes are sublime, and the end is emotionally surprising. It is captivating! What an imagination the author has! I wish there was a sequel.

Pretty darn rad. I am in 8th grade and I first read this book in 5th grade for a program at my school called "Battle of the books". I have read this book every year since then. I love this book so much and I recommend it to 4th-8th grade!

Even I liked it.. I am not much into the whole undead scene. The writing was so good however that I completely enjoyed it. I would not have even read it except an excerpt was included in a book of short stories I was reading. I fell in love with the character and setting and enjoyed spending more time there.

A great coming of age tale for all. It’s a book that leaves you with wisps and wonders, and will haunt you for a good rest of your life, and after. I wish I had read it as a young teen, but am happy I read it at a good mid twenty all the same. I also wish I had better words for it, but it’s much more of an experience than I can describe. Nob is a bit of all of us, and none of us at all. It’s captures the fleeting but foreverness of life in such a beautiful way. As was said deep in these pages, I can come back, but it will be a place, not a home.

The Graveyard Book. Amazing this book rocks!!:) I am only12 and it was magnificent. I loved it especially the ending!!:)

Pop. I like book it be gooood

Yearly Read. Read it once a year around Halloween. It’s a classic to me.

This man is my new favorite author!!. This is the second book I’ve read of Neil Gaiman’s after Coraline. And I thought this would bring some sparks and spooks than it did with Coraline but this had a whole new sets of world-buildings and main focus of the graveyard. I mean this book gave me the feels of Alice In Wonderland vibes! Anyways pretty good, a smooth quick read 🩶🩶

What a great read. I love this book. What an interesting concept. Everything I’ve read by this author is amazing.

Love it. I loved the book but it is a little bit confusing I do not recommend this to people who do not like blood spookiness and murder

Great reading for any age!. I totally enjoyed reading this story. It is everyday life, and yet engages the imagination in new ways, with different twists. I love that good triumphs evil in the end!

Intriguing. Overall a good book, I feel cheated there's no sequel. Not just to enjoy the characters but rather conclude some of the ideas brought up in the book that never fully feel explored. Concept of the book might be more intriguing then all the ideas it sums up. All in all a good read with very interesting and unique concepts.

Great book. This must be one of my favorite books I've read this year. This book tells a good tale about a young child that grew up in a grave yard learning to do and see things only ghosts are supposed to do. I think every one who likes action and adventure and murder mystery books will love this book.

Great for adults... Not for kids. The Graveyard Book is a deep and sweet book.... For adults. My child read this as a summer reading and had nightmares for several weeks. Now if your child likes scary books, then this book would be good. But all though it gets good at the end, it scared my child to the point where they had to sleep with a lamp on. Sometimes my child would wake up afraid of this book. Reading that book for me was amazing- and horrifying. If I was a kid I would have been scared to death. My kid still can not drive by a graveyard without freaking out. I don't blame them. It is not meant for children. Over all it's a good book for adults, but not for children.

Great!. Loved it. Loved all of the characters. Loved everything about it.

A Classic Feel. Thoroughly engaging and enjoyable. The characters are developed sufficiently for young readers to relate beyond simple good-guy, bad-guy story lines.

Wonderful. Harry Potter... take notes. This is a REAL young adult masterpiece.

Amazing. One of the best books I have ever read

Noice again. As great as the audio book

The Graveyard Book. Wonderful fantasy. Dark, funny, thrilling.

Amazing. I had this book for a school book report. The book was so amazing. You should bye the book and read it for yourself.

More Engaging Than You'd Think Possible. Yes, it is a book for youths, but don't let that stop you if you're less than youthful. I'm 60ish and was completely taken with it. Mr. Gaiman is unique, but if you like Jasper Fforde, for instance, you probably would love this book. Witty, and never a dull moment.

Fun read. I have enjoyed several books by Mr. Gaiman and was happy to learn this is as good as his best. It has his simple, compelling narrative and characters who have depth but are still simply drawn. This is what a good imagination reads like.

Great for all ages not just for kids. I always loved Neil Gaimen's work this really made me love it it's a must read

A favorite!. I've read this book twice. The first time I wasn't aware that it was a young reader book. It is a timeless story; sweet, exciting, layered.....

Impressively Good. This book was so scary and horrible it gave the willies. In a good way 👍

The graveyard book. This is my favorite book of all time!!!!! When I read the first sentence I couldn't stop!!!! I checked this book out A.F.A.P and read all the way through it!!!! Thumbs up to Neil Gaimen

Great book. I'm not a reading fan but I love this book it's worth the read

Awesome!!. My favorite book

Cool Book. Read this in school...would read it again!!!!!

Good book. Great

Wonderful Book. I really enjoy this book. I have been reading it in school and I am trying to hold myself back from buying it until we finish the book in class. I feel like sneaking a peek at the ending when the teacher is not looking so I can see if it does or does not have a good ending!

Love It. Omg, why can't they make a second one. It was so good. I've read it over and over again. 😄😄

my first and I am hooked. this was my first NG book from years back, and since then I have just been mesmerized and haunted by his storytelling and his unique take on religion. such amazing amazing talent.

Awesome!. Love his dark take on Kiplings "The Jungle Book" dark and mysterious but never inappropriate! Quick read, good for most ages.

Great book!. Had to read this for a report and found I was reading it for pleasure! It has a great storyline as well!

Extremely Perfecto.. It was a very nice and interesting book. All the chapters wanted to make you read more and more. I highly suggest you get this book and read it yourself if you like adventure and ghosts!

I like this book. I bought this book at an airport, and I really enjoyed it! Loved this book, and Neil Gaimen! One of my favorite writers, and my whole family loves his works!

Great for all ages!. My daughter picked this book up at a school book fair, and she didn't get through it, but I found it on the shelf and thought it was interesting. Inside I found what has become one of my favorite stories of all time. I love this book. There are some great lessons to be found within the pages of this story. There are some wonderful moments. Some heartfelt. Some scary. Some just pure entertaining. A great great for people of any age!

The Graveyard Book. Absolutely refreshing. Could not put it down!

The cemetery book. Was a great read ,enjoyed the characters very surprising thoroughly enjoyed the book and would recommend to buy . Said it was for the youth but as an adult I still felt it was for a mature reader
