The Reversal. Great book, could not put it down. Would highly recommend this book for anyone's reading pleasure.

Now my favorite Haller & Bosch book. This book has been so much fun. About half way through it was hard to put down.

No reversal of quality. This was classic Connelly and it doesn't get any better than that when it comes to crime fiction. Other authors in the genre start going downhill with repeated books with the same lead character, but that hasn't happened with Connelly and Harry Bosch. If anything, his later Bosch is even better than his earlier.

Captivating!!. A real page turner. You get to see Mickey with his difficult family relations. A definite game changer with the plot. Very enjoyable.

The Reversal. Amazing! Couldn't put the book down. So interesting and kept you on your toes. My new favorite author. On to the next novel !!

Awesome. Awesome as always

Ending. Interesting characters, good plot, moves along nicely, keeps your interest. However, it ends a bit abruptly and leaves a lot of unanswered questions. What happened to Sarah? What was Jesse’s motive? Was he a serial killer? Were there other bodies? Etc.

Ending Sucked. I really enjoyed this story. I have nothing but superlatives about the story, the characters and the writing style. Then I came to the end. Either Michael Conley doesn't know how to wrap up a story or he's trying to sell another book, but I hated the way he closed the book. I will not read another of his books if this is his style. It's very frustrating to invest time to this read then being dropped! It's like having good sex without a climax!

Frightening. How close to the justice system this book stays. Wonderful read if you don't like sleeping.

Brothers united. Bosch and Haller together are less exciting than either one of them apart. Connelly has been setting us up for this union of try two half-brothers for some time, but whatever tension or drama might come from putting them together at last goes unexploited. Bosch is his usual tough- minded detective pulling rabbits out of the hat for Haller; Haller is his usual quick-witted trial attorney dodging and weaving his way to verdict. The fact that he's recruited as a special prosecutor and working with his ex-wife Maggie McFierce doubles up on the nepotism but doesn't really add much. To Connelly's credit as a reporter he allows these folks to get their jobs done well, quite independent of the fact that their lives are intertwined. Their children meet up for a homely scene, but whatever twists the family ties might add to the plot never materialize. The story is plotted so that Harry and Mickey trade chapters, a slightly confusing device the start that actually works quite well as tale unfolds. A lot of time is spent developing the case to set up the trial, so the first half of the book drags a little. Once the trial starts the book heats up and Connelly holds your attention. It's a good book, not one of his best and not the place to start unless you've read the earlier ones that give depth to Mickey and Harry.

Great read until the end!. This was a great read until the end. I felt like it just stopped midway through the story without any real conclusion. Can't recommend it for that reason. I've read many other books of his, but this one leaves you wanting more-but not in a good way.....

O M G. This book kept me on the edge of my seat I have ready every one of the Lincoln lawyer books this is a must read and a change of venue that has you begging for more !!!!!!

I love Connelly’s books, but not this one. It was confusing, and difficult to hold my interest. I will pay more attention to the ratings from now on. I just assumed all his books were great.

Vintage Connelly. A taut thriller with a lukewarm ending that left me “up in the air”

Excellent!. Connelly did a good job with his best characters, Harry Bosch and Mickie Haller. You just don't want it to end.

The Reversal fails to impress. This is a disappointing effort after so many great novels. The conclusion is weak and obvious and the whole novel doesn't offer the usual pace Connelly excels at. Maybe time to retire the Lincoln Lawyer...

Great read. This is the first Michael Connelly book I've read - but it won't be the last! I have been a Prosecutor for over 20 years and have tried many Jury Trials. Connelly nailed it here!

Justice...?. A good look at what our court system is all about. Not always a pretty sight.

Not his best book!!!. After reading a bunch of books by this author, this is not his best work. Is good but something' missing.

Loved it!. I was getting bored with the not so great books available right but this one perked me up. Smoochie Pig gives it a 5!

The Reversal. Michael Connelly is excellent as always. He is by far the most entertaining detective crime novelist of our time. I love that Harry Bosch is back here, I miss his presence having read all of his books in sequential order.
