The Corp. This book is not up to Griffin's standards. The story is not well developed. Especially did not like the way it ended. It just stopped suddenly. Was disappointed with the book. Not worth the money!

Not exciting. Verbose,very dull in large sections.

Great book. While I have read other books regarding the people in this book,this was a good account of what happened prior to the other things that happened to k. McCoy.

Feels right. I'm a former Jarhead, and this book just has the right feel. The author has done a good job of capturing the essential nature of the Corps. On top of that, it's the first book of a rip roarin' tale that's good fun to read.

Semper Fi. I stumbled onto this author and loved the book. Just finished it which left me with two hours sleep. Going to read more samples tonight unfortunately.

TheCorps. Great read

Semper Fi. This first book in the Corps series does a great job of introducing the characters who will enthrall you as you make you way through WEB Griffins historical fiction of World War Two. The book also introduces the marine Corp with all its pomp and tradition. To the uninitiated this series brings to life one of the most challenging chapters in our history and does so through the lives of fictional characters that you will come to know and love as if they were your own flesh and blood. These chapters are thrilling page turners that truly bring history to life.

This is the book that introduced me to W.E.B Griffin. Picked up my first copy in 1987 because it looked interesting. USMC? Ok. Lets give it a try. I’ve read The Corps series four times since, along with the others by the awesome and entertaining author. I’ve just started Semper Fi again this week and it’s just as enthralling as the first time. I plan on going through the entire series again. Was saddened to learn of Mr. Butterworth’s recent passing.

Literally my Favorite book. I've read this book 3 or 4 times now and it was worth every minute.

The Corps - A long standing tradition. This is probably the 10th time I've read this book. Griffin never fails to capture my attention with his incredible ability to develop characters and describe their normal day-to-day activities. I can't recommend this book - or this series highly enough.

Another great book from W.E.B. Griffin. Another great book from W.E.B. Griffin. I only wish two things: 1. That the books were longer, so I could keep reading, and 2. That I had read Griffin's books in some semblance of order.
