So where's the Bonus Book?. I purchased this book weeks ago and still haven't received Brad Meltzer's bonus book...nor has there been any explanation from the Apple store.

I thought it was a fun read. I understand but don't agree with the criticism for this book. Is it a pretty much action packed book that goes from action scene to action scene? Sure. But that is the story. And, I must point out, Relic and Reliquary were similar. Yeah the opening was lengthy, but they have big plans for Gideon so I understand why they did that. And yes, I was jarred by the quick ending but only because I forgot about the free book attached and thought there was much more to the story coming. But that isn't a fault in the story. The only disappointment I felt was reading that Michael Bay has the movie rights? Was that a joke? I hope so!

Epic.. It's really good! I started reading and couldn't put it down.

Gideons Sword. Not one of their best. Don't think I'll be buying any more of this series. Disappointed with the character. Too much none essential info. Muddies up the story.

Terrible. This book is terrible. It reads like a comic book. It is also VERY short - a bad deal in many ways.

Not their best. I have read all of their work. I bought this without even reading the sample. I will not do that again. Slowest plot development and too much extraneous info.

Explosive read. This is an excellent departure from the Pendergast novels, loaded with action and having such a fun and fearless new main character. Pendergast still rules the roost for me, but I'm eagerly waiting more in this series. I can't wait for the movie too, I can see Brad Pitt as Gideon.

Great as usual. Another great book. As always a cover to cover, can't put it down, read. Thanks guys I will be waiting for your next creation.

Good, but...not what I wanted.. I'm an avid fan of Lincoln and Child, and have read every one of their books. So, forgive me for being critical. Ever since Cabinet of Curiosities, the books have become less involved, and seemed to have lost the atmosphere and intrigue they did so well with Pendergast and Constance. Cabinet of Curiosities was the apex. Now it seems like I'm reading made for TV movies, entertaining for sure, but not what I want from these guys who I know can do so much better. If I have to I'll write my own novel, called 'Constance', her past is so haunting and so deep I'm dying to fill in all that space, even if I have to write it. Time to rewind guys, you've built some great characters, and have much more to do with them, you're losing me with the side stories.
