A Must Read. This is a must read for small business owners (and their employees)!!

Come on.. It's okay. But the author needs to consider paragraphs with more than one sentence. And just so ya know, fella, there wasn't a person named Sears Roebuck.

Enlightening and Eye Opening. There are many aspects to this book that I really enjoyed and found enlightening. You get taken through a journey with a small business owner to understand not only very important business concepts and strategy but the mindset and perspective that is needed in implementing them. I look forward to applying all the concepts mentioned in this book and I definitely plan to go back and reread it to break down these concepts further and hopefully gain a better understanding of them. I definitely recommend this book because even if for whatever reason you end up not liking it, you will take something positive away from it.

Fantastic information. This is a great book for anyone that is starting up, planning to start up, or already has a business. The story that is laid out makes it very easy to understand the concepts he is trying to share. I was so motivated when reading this book, that I started worked on my own business plan immediately. Highly recommend. I promise that you won't be able to put it down.

Must Read for Small Business Owners. Great!!

Thought provoking. Had some very poignant passages, very inspiring and presented many brilliant technics. Had a lot of technical terminology that started spinning around in my mind and was hard to remember all of it. I didn't find the abundant philosophical passages at the end very helpful.

This doesn’t do much to help you get into business. This book is geared for people who think, “Maybe I should start a business.” It’s not for people who know they want to start a business. This book will only show people where their head should be at psychologically for a business and nothing more. I would probably never recommend this book.

Good Business Startup Read. Overall well written and good read. Good reminders on how successful business' became successful.

Read This Book. This book is about two things. First, the E-Myth itself. The E-Myth is the entrepreneurial myth, which is: just because you know how to build a better mousetrap doesn't mean you know how to run a company that builds a better mousetrap. There are technicians, managers, and entrepreneurs. Each has a different skill set. A given individual might or might not have the skill set of more than one of these. Second, the book discusses how entrepreneurs focus on workflow processes that allow a firm to scale and thus rapidly increase firm value. This book really is a must read. That being said, I did not care for E-Myth Mastery.

Very much worth it!. This is a detailed guide for any business owner to step back and really analyze what you're doing, why, and how to do it better.

Must read for any business owner!. Michael is one of the best business writers I have ever read. This book will tell you all the obvious truths that you probably don’t see. It will open your eyes to the real business world and it will put a spotlight on all the things you haven’t done for your business to be successful.

Small Business Helper. As I start my new small business (in my case, a franchise), there are days of doubt ... when you get a little lost and directionless. I found that reading a new chapter every morning seemed to put me back on track and boost my confidence to press on. I also found, that my franchisor, who has been successful and enjoyed continued growth over the years, has exercised many of the things that are promoted in this book. That continuity has also been fortifying. I highlighted many paragraphs in this book, and plan to review a "chapter of highlights" each morning going forward to retain focus and guidance as I perfect my franchise prototype.

The E Myth Revisited. Every small business owner needs to read this. Although I operate a small business within an established Franchise System, this book has provided me with the direction I've long been needing. I was the Technician. I will no longer be The Technician. I will apply these learnings to everything I do in business. Sound work.

The book I always overlooked at the store, but couldn't afford to NOT read. Without knowing the meaning behind the title (hint: it has nothing to do with the fallacies surrounding Ecstasy consumption) this book was always left on the shelf anytime I browsed the business section at a book store. In reality, I should have read this 8 years ago when I started my web software company. I'm just thankful that I've read it today, and not next week or next month. If you operate a small business, or that opportunity is in your future, I strongly urge you to read this book. Personally, as my business has grown, we've battled against formality under the guise that it would corrupt our culture. I now see that it will in fact be systems and practices that will instead allow is to retain this precious culture, and without them we will implode. Whilst some of the sales tactics and scripts seem cheesy and insincere, I believe they were new and innovative in the 80s, when this book was first published. In 2011, potential customers are more "switched on" to marketing speak and sales promises, so whilst I will be taking guidance from the suggestions outlined, I will also be considering a modern customer's needs and attributes more closely when defining our company's marketing systems. Now I just need to buy a copy of this book for my business partner.

It examines how the standard approach to small business results in working in your business instead of on your business: being tactical instead of strategic. This book explains how to create systems that will turn your business into the product. I look forward to trying this new mindset to launch my business.

Fantastic. A Great read. Well organized thoughts and plans. A great start when you know what you want to do but don't know where to start.

THE book. This is the book entrepreneurs need. If you are an entrepreneur and don't devour this content, you simply aren't taking this seriously. As a business owner, everything I am doing right is in this book, and everything I am doing wrong is as well. Those with "jobs" wont get it. This speaks to a specific audience. Good luck working with the three people within you and hopefully this book helps you manage your inner team

Emyth revisited. Great book however will not function well in iBooks. On opening reports an iPhone configuration issue and closes. Keep reopening and it sometimes works.

Don’t start a business. Unless you’ve read this book first! If you feel like your spinning your wheels with your current business this will be a great reset and springboard.
