One of the greats of all time. Wally LAMB can write like the mastery writer imaginative and creative complex dynamic human experience can really be. He doesn’t hold back the ugliest the horrors or the abuses and oppressions that some are causing to others out of plain social status bigotry and ignorance but he can come to express the beauty the empathy the compassion and courage humanity can be as well

Long but good. Very good book. Enjoyed reading it and getting lost in the life of the main character. At times it gets slow..too detailed....but still. Very good book.

Worth every moment and every page. Amazing storyteller. There were times I had to “rest” from reading this book but was quickly drawn back and anxious to continue. Interesting and multifaceted characters, a bit of history and heartfelt life lessons. It’s a long and sometimes painful story but well worth every moment and every page. At times had me wondering when it would end but was disappointed when it actually did. Highly recommend. I’ll read more of Wally Lambs books.

Great so far.. I'm 12 yrs. old and currently reading this book. My mom recommended it to me and it is just AWESOME. Although I wouldn't give it to a nine year old, I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great book.

Fabulous!!!!. This book is so gripping! It had me so engrossed that I even missed work to finish reading. I could not put it down once I got into it! Real life is messy and this book is a sweet celebration of embracing that messiness, living life on life's terms and the victories that can be had on the other side. It is Lamb's portrayal of a complex web of relateable characters and how he develops them thru initmate dialogue that makes this story so compelling. The story puts in perspective the spectrum of emotions we all experience and ultimately proves the redemptive value of forgiveness, yet illustrates that it is the freedom to experience the more "ugly" emotions that paves the way for the surrender that can lead to the heart of forgiveness.

I Know This Much Is True. I enjoyed this book tremendously. It is a very heartfelt story about twin boys, so alike yet so different. The story kept me interested from beginning to end!

Wonderful book!. It took me a while to get into this book. It was one of those I picked up and put down quite a few times in the beginning, but when I finally settled into it, I couldn’t put it down. There’s a lot to be learned from this book, from our history.

A good book. I want to start by saying how much I loved "She's Come Undone", the book was moving and emotional, I still miss reading about those characters. However "I Know This Much is True" fell short of moving me as much as the first Wally Lamb book. I Know This Much is True" is a good book, yet much of it seems forced or simply unrelated to the story line. I don't want to spill any spoilers so I will not go into great detail. Only thing I will say is the off track manuscript that takes over the last few portions of the book was a bit daunting to read, I skimmed much of that section. As the book continued the manuscript one of the characters is reading does start to actually pertain to the story line and becomes more readable. Another thing that left me not loving the book so much was how every single loose end was tied io in the end, I think a little more mystery or imagination left for the reader would have been nice. That said who am I to critique someone's hard work? The book was good and I am glad to have read it, I thank the author for sharing his creativity with us readers.

Long and laborious read. The first half of this book felt disorganized and repetitive. It improved during the second half but overall was much too long for the story it told. It’d skip this one, there are better reads worth your time.

I know this much is true. I loved this book! What a great read. The characters were definitely unique and I'm so glad it was recommended to me. Wally Lamb wove the plots together to make a book I will never forget!

One of my Favorites. The only disappointment about this book is reaching the end. This is probably why I have read this book over and over again, along with another one of Lamb's, 'She's Come Undone'. Wally Lamb is one of my most favorite authors- I wish he would come out with a new novel! I have a hard copy of this book, and I had to have it in digital as well.

Excellent story. I absolutely love this book! I grew up with a mom who was bipolar and a brother who was almost my other half took his life! It just made me think so much of my life! The ending was beautiful! Just like my mom’s life and who knows maybe my brother’s!

Don't stop!. Amazing book. It took me a long time to get into it but the excellent writing and knowing it was my mother's favorite book kept me going back to it. It is an awesome story with complex and interesting characters. Recommend for all.

Best book!. To this day, I Know This Much Is True is the best book I have ever read in my life. I have yet to read a book close to as good as it.
