Fun romp with Dave. I love Dave ‘s humor and perspective. I am a little upset though…. I completely missed the colonoscopy story in my version… or else i missed it while chortling about one of his perspectives on Florida life.… Dave is your best bud in high school who would crack you up just as you take a slug of milk, which would then uncontrollably gush out your nose as you guffawed uncontrollably. ..impeccable timing and always keeping you with a smile on your face and a milk stain on your shirt.

From laughter to somewhat disappointing. This book starts out funny, stays that way for a few chapters, and gets a little too serious at the end, but is still a recommended read for Dave Barry fans

Merely OK. Normally Dave has me rolling on the floor like the pickle that jumped out of the jar.....but this book was not his best outing. The funniest vignette was the previously-published story about his colonoscopy (what is it about rectums that make us laugh?) but that's where the belly-laughs end and the mundanity (OK that may not be a real word) begins. My advice: Save your money for a colonoscopy and don't buy this book - the anesthetics would be more fun. (Sorry, Dave)
