Love in the Afternoon. Good book I love this series I love all of Lisa's books hard to put down.

Fun, but. I have to agree, starts strong, but the author seemed to tire of the characters, and it was a little flatter than the rest of the series. some plot opportunities seemed missed. Still readable, but not the best.

Love in the afternoon. Loves it!!! Finally a great story, great romance without having to live through a tragedy!! It just builds happier and happier. None of that "what if, I don't believe this". Strong characters people you like. No one outshines the other. Amazing!! And only 1 or 2 "throttles" in the book. Throttle, loins and boneless are the bane of romance novels.

Half and half. The first half is good, but the second half feels like it was written to fill the rest of the pages.

Worth a read. Not the strongest of her books in this series or her others but still worth the read! V.L.L-Book Lover

Beatrix and Christopher. The last grown Hathaway to fall in love, Beatrix finds a sweet but tortured hero to do so with, Captain Christopher Phelan. I liked this book as a whole, liked the dialogue and romance, but the ending dragged which was disappointing. Still, it was fun to read about Beatrix and her animals--and the man who would be able to love her and them.

Funny, romantic and a definite buy!. I absolutely fell in love with this book the more I read. It's not only romantic but very smart and funny. A must read!

Lovely beginning. I loved the first half of the story - or I’d say 70% of the book. It was enthralling, well-written and I was consumed with knowing what came next. For that, I’d give the book 4 stars. The rest of the book wasn’t bad, but there was no tension — nothing to look out for, just the learning and evolution of the relationship. Don’t get me wrong, I love that I got to see the relationship moving along, but in contrast to the first chunk of the book, the ending fell short

Bravo!. I read the series. I definitely enjoyed. Three reasons I loved this series: 1) Miss Kleybas marries the heroine and hero before the end of the book; 2) The Family is just plain lovable; 3) Danger/mystery is part of the plot! Clapping my hands! The one reason I hated the series is that it ended!

Awesome book!. I couldn't put this book down! Great writing from Ms. Kleypas. You won't be sorry you bought this.

Last Hathaway book.. I’m sort of sad to leave the family behind. I highly recommend this series. Start at the beginning though. I hope you like them as well as I do.

Page Turner. This novel captured me from the beginning. I am notorious for buying books and never reading them. This one was fabulous, cover to cover; it is the first book I have finished reading in five years.
