What a fun ride!. This was such a fun story to read....the action is great and the story is gripping. From an entertaining level it was stellar but from a real world perspective it was scary as heck because it seemed entirely too real. From everything I've read, Vince Flynn is pretty well connected and much of what he writes is pretty accurate in the counter-terrorism world. All I have to say is I pray to God there is a real Mitch Rapp out there behind the scenes.

Grrrreat. I hardly ever read fiction, but Vince Flynn knows how to capture your attention in this book and never let's you go. I could not put this book down. When I found myself unable to sleep at night, I would grab this book to find out shat happened next. Some things in this book are scary real and know doubt are similar to things which have happened in real life! Highly recommend this book

Exciting ending!. Slow start, but good setup for the non stop excitement at the end! Highly recommended for all adrenalin reader junkies!

A disappointment. You would think someone else wrote this book. In the past Vince Flynn’s books have been character and plot driven. This latest book is short on character development and long on a fascination with explosives. He spends pages describing the terrorists’ devices for destroying Washington, D.C. and very little on the characters themselves.

The best, by FAR!!!. Couldn’t put it down. Seriously...

One of His Best. 5 stars all the way. There needs to be a 6th star for this author. Very well done.

My Fifth! The Best So Far!. I must concur with the others that have commented on this book. The quality has improved over time and writing. Gone are the excessive flashbacks and fluff. Much more compact! Still, I regret that too often events are introduced--and abandoned without a nice closure. I will continue the series because of the character(s), action and the insights I have gained regarding the agencies, technological insights and the (hopefully accurate) knowledge of the culture, religion and territories described. Well worth the read; however... It's difficult to put down; ...just one more chapter :)

A++ effort by Flynn as expected. I haven't read a bad Vince Flynn book yet, and this might be his best work. For those that haven't read Flynn, his books are a bit of a cross between the show 24 and Tom Clancy novels. In other words, they have the heart-stopping excitement of 24 with the intelligence and detail of Clancy novels (although Flynn is much better in this regard since Clancy often goes overboard in the military lingo so much so that they can be hard to follow). Once you read one Flynn novel, you will want to read more!

Memorial Day. Another great read which is what I expect from the series. Looking forward to reading the next book. Never disappointed.
