No no no no!. I have, for the most part, enjoyed Elin Hilderbrand's novels. But not this one. I disliked this so much, I not only want my money back, but also the hours I've wasted reading it.

Good, needed more!. I enjoyed reading this book. I love Elin's novels. However, the ending needed more, it was a good book & kept me wanting to keep reading, but that was the problem the ending should have had at least 2-3 more chapters. This is my 3rd read by this author & I'm going to read them all. I love her books! I have never been a book person. But I'm proud to say I've read lm on my 6th book this year! Wow, me a book worm, never saw that happening! Ü

Horrible Characters. I wish I'd read the reviews before I purchased this book. Almost every character is a horrible horrible person. Quite honestly the whole book disgusted me. Totally self-involved characters with absolutely no redeeming qualities. Do yourself a favor and do not read this book. It leaves you with a sick feeling.

Disappointing. Unbelievable people and ridiculous, unbelievable melodrama.

Unreal. Loved a couple of the author's other books, but this book did not reach those heights. Unbelievable story and characters. Not just dissatisfying, but also rather sickening. It's a mucky swamp.

the worst!. I totally agree with the above review. I loved Castaways, The Island and others, but this THIS should be accompanied by an apology & a check. It is complete with horrible people, disturbing plotline and ridiculous end. I was so mad at the end, I threw the book. Did the editor call & just say end it in one paragraph? If not, no excuse. DO NOT BUY!

Horrible. I have to agree that I not only disliked this book, but I found it disturbing. I'm not even sure why I finished it but I guess I was just hoping it was going to get better. And actually the ending was so bad it made me angry. So the plot was bad and the ending was worse. This was the 1st book I read of hers and it took a lot to convince me to give another book a shot. Don't waste your time or $$ on this one.

Sorry, Elin...not my fave. I have so enjoyed this author ever since reading Blue Bistro. I've read four since then, and find myself wanting to visit Nantucket. Then I read this book. Too dark and taboo. Bummer. Elin, go back to doing what u were doing well.

Good. Loved it the the ending was a little disappointing.

Disturbing. I've read all but one of Hilderbrand's books because they are interesting, light reads that have substance. Typically surprising twists with characters I think I'd like if they were real. Not at all the case with Nantucket Nights. Had this been my first of hers to read I wouldn't have read another. Just creepy characters with a creepy plot. And what was with the B in Cassidy B's name?

Waste. This book was so bad. I will never read another book by this author and I'd like my money back. The plot was a joke and the lead character is a disappointing, vapid disaster. I can't believe that an editor let this book get published! The end was baffling, as was the lead player's use of drugs. Dance away from this listing and buy something else.

Needed more…. Love this author! Such an underwhelming ending. Really needed a few more chapters. Such a bummer.

The ending is trash. The whole build up of betrayal & then nothing but “a new life”? And some so rapidly without a sense of closure.

Nantucket Nights. Summer novels are a treat! This one was so bad I am sick from it. Not worth the time or the money. Read it all hoping for some value somewhere - but alas - none! Story stunk - too many holes - lots of filler - and the ending - well it didn't have one. If this is all she had left to tell - time to start another profession!

Not her best.... I have read 4 of her books. This one, by far, was the worst. I really enjoyed the others but this one was far-fetched and downright silly at times.
