What?. After reading that Stephen King loved this I thought I'd give it a shot. Don't get it. Seemed like a retread of other "Oceans 11" groups of people investigating a house. Convoluted plot. Nonsensical, unexciting conclusion. Want my ten bucks back.

Amazing. I finished this book in 3 days ! That’s how good it was that I couldn’t stop reading, at work, at home, in between being a mom, wife, co-worker , this book kept me so hooked it was definitely a Great read !

Horror at it's best. This is the kind of book that makes you paranoid & uncomfortable while reading it. Next best thing to a great horror movie. Heart pounds. Sweaty hands. Neighboring sounds put you on edge. I swear I was being watched while reading it. Ha! What it boils down to is his words come alive & you find yourself so engrossed that time stands still. Absolutely incredible. Thanks to Stephen King for mentioning on his book jacket that Matheson was his inspiration to write. It inspired me to look him up & I soon discovered that a few of his books became movies. Awesome movies too. :)

Great Book. One of the best ghost stories that I've ever read. Matheson never disappoints!

No For Me. Overly lewd - uncomfortable to read as a woman. Reads as smut passing off as a horror book. I like Stephen King and read because of him, but this book was not scary in any way, just perverted and strange.
