Best book!. I've read this book about 5 times and i still love it! I recommend this book it has a storyline with a lot of history background.

Kane and Abel. I could not put this book down. Although the story ended predictably, getting there was truly fulfilling.

Kane and Abel. Honestly, one of the best, if not the best that I have read! Jeffrey Archer weaves in the history and creates a story that is heart-warming as well as very sad. I feel I know these characters and they become like family. The struggles for Abel are so wrenching, yet believable. Being of Polish decent, I felt this could have been my ancestors struggle. I absolutely did not want it to end! Thank you for such a wonderful story.

Beautiful, tragic saga of two proud men!. This book is magnificent! It draws you in from the first chapter, and gets you into bed early each night, to read more! It’s a wonderful lesson in forgiveness and pride, that goeth before a fall! I was sad when it ended, but loved the ending! Enjoy

All time favorite!. I'm a college student who read this book after a friend recommended it. As the title suggests, this book ended up becoming one of my all time favorites. The story captures you right from the start and keeps you there till the end. Read it, you won't regret it!

Hard to put down. I was told about this book from a friend at work. It is an excellent work. Being a Chicagoan, it caused me to delve into Chicago's history which is quite colorful. Leob and Leapold mentioned in the novel was an interesting case.
