God did not. "live in darkness" Author needs to read the Bible!!

Perfect. The best bible-related book ever. Great for kids too!

Good. Good story

Socialist agenda. This book is rampant with misinterpretations, mischaracterizations, and gives the reader a false narrative of why things happened. Though the author of this book is indeed a talented storyteller, his interpretation of scripture is abysmal. I could not longer read this to my kids when I came upon the tower of babel narrative. God is painted as unaware and trivial when the writer says that because of all the hammering God noticed they were working, and that he was 'amazed, and pleased at the finely laid out streets, and stylish houses...' really?... And then miles tells his readers that God suddenly has a thought. Oh no...these people want to be seen as the greatest in the world...and then they might actually be seen as better than everyone else. I have to put a stop to that! - excuse me? That's why God did one of the most astounding miracles of the Bible? He just wiped almost all of mankind off the earth because of their wickedness before Him, and He's going to now create brand new languages from nothing, cause everyone to start using them, and just to play favorites so that everyone is equal for a little while? What you seem to be oblivious to, miles, is that God confounded the languages due to the extreme pride of these people, not in relation to men, but in their relation to God. The bible says they were building a tower to reach all the way to God. They were following in the footsteps of the very first sin, when Satan decided he wanted to be God. Please don't make the Bible another piece of socialist anti-capitalist propaganda. It makes me sick to my stomach that some people could be led to think of God as so fickle and flighty as you have portrayed Him. Roger - vancouver WA

Noah's Ark and Other Bible Stories. Perhaps the author should have studied the Bible prior to undertaking the awesome responsibility of teaching children about God and His written Word, the Bible.

Inaccurate. The book starts off saying ... In the beginning God lived in darkness... Ummm...that is ridiculously false. The author needs to go back to school. Very nice illustrations but if that is how the book starts out, I'm not going to waste time (or my kids minds) on it.

Christian. This book is unscriptural. Therefore it misrepresents the biblical accounts it is trying to portray and is actually misleading.

Great fairy tales. This is a nice collection of fairy tales to read to little kids. The stories could have some better morals in the end, but you get what you pay for with a free book.

THREE STARS NOT TWO!!. Good little book, have used this to educate my niece and nephew in simple terms they can understand. They were as disappointed as I in the fact that the stories are not very long. Good use of language. I have rated this three stars although because of Raynauds Phenomenon in my hands (causes exceptionally cold extremities as veins go into spasm, it's also very painful!!), my phone screen sometimes does not recognise my finger taps, which at times is very annoying!!

Bible stories. Sad that children are being introduced to outdated stories at such a young age without the context of Jewish or christian belief needed to give these stories the meaning needed for contemporary life in a scientific world.

Not bad. God was all like "Noah help me" and Noah was like "Sure" and they got like some gerbiles on a boat and that was pretty much it. Not a bad bit of fiction, but its no Shakespear!
