An Actual Enjoyable Book. The book was such well written that I was never bored with what I was reading, since it was for summer reading going into 10th grade, I read it quick but definitely understood and enjoyed it. The ending was sad, especially owning a young dog having to think of her future. But it also made me appreciate my dog Bailey much more. I will spend as much time and fun with her as I can to ensure her the best life she deserves. The thought of reincarnation in a new life makes me hope it is real. Thanks for not wasting my time and making it a book to remember! 5/5

Amazing and heart warming. I thought this was an amazing book. I also watched the movie but the book was better. Also if you liked this book you may like the book bring jade home the true story of a lost dog in Yellowstone. Overall I would rate this book five stars and anyone who loves animal would like this book. This book really shows the bond that man and dog share. This is a great book for kids and adults.

A must for dog lovers. I am not a big reader but I couldn't put this down. I am now even more convinced than before that my furry children are just that My Children who just happen to have fur and walk on four legs. I will read this again for sure.

My Life as a Dog:The Art of Racing in the Rain. Like some movies I have seen, this book illicited deep emotions in me. I cried at the end. The struggle with daughter custody and loss of wife, and dear pet was well put together. Thank you sir.

Close to my heart. As I walked my dog Enzo at the dog park a gentleman asked me if I named him after the book "The art of racing in the rain"? No, I interestingly replied. I named him after Enzo Ferrari. One of the few men who loves racing more than I do. The gentleman said "do yourself a favor and read the book". Before I would forget the name, I ordered the book. Mind you I have not read a actual book in 20+ years. The book sat for more than a year until a long business trip arouse. Sitting on the plane I opened the book and read the first page, then the second and the plane landed... I was half way done. I finished the book by the next evening. I've always wondered about my love for my dog Enzo and if he could talk what would he say. Here the author has done an amazing job of taking us through the reality and fantasy of life! I have taken a line from the book to remember and apply to the rest of my life. "To which you manifest is before you". Do yourself a favor and read this book. You will laugh, you will cry but most of all you will live!

I give this 5/5, A MUST READ BOOK. I love this book because it shows the pure delight of just having a dog, and maybe what they are thinking as well. Personally, I enjoy most all books I read but this book has more of a personal meaning to me, as well as being a huge animal lover, this also shows the extraordinary talents of this particular person, please continue writing these books, these are hands down one of my favorite books to read and I would love to buy and ready more of these masterpieces.

Amazing book. This book is absolutely amazing. I had it before but lost it, before I could finish it. This version is for younger readers, which I am, and "The Art of Racing In The Rain" is for adults. I have not read the adult version but I'm pretty sure in this book the simplify the words, and explain things a little better. But this book is amazing. I recommend reading it.

Great book!. Wow! This book is great I'm not even finished almost there! I definitely recommend this book! I didn't buy this on iBooks but I bought the paperback at Target for like 6 dollars. I haven't read any of the other of the Garth Stein books but I will you'll see my reviews eventually!

Racing in the Rain. I absolutely love this book!! When I read it, I just simply couldn't stop. It pulled me in so fast and so hard, that it was a battle to put the book down. There are many problems Enzo faces, but many good lessons too. If you read this book, make sure you have plenty of time, because your not going to be able to put on your bookshelf. It will be stuck to your eyes. The only other thing I must say is, READ THIS BOOK!

If there is only one book you can read, this would be it!!!. I am not an avid reader, nor be considered a reader for that matter. The only books I finished reading were those that I had to read to get my degree. Reading is not a hobby, pleasure or any satisfaction for me. Reading a one page article is enough for me. Having said that, I read this book in 2 days. During my flight from Philly to Denver (not the entire flight), I fell asleep at some point. I finished the book in a couple of hours in my hotel room. What is the take away for me? The way I see life, and how I want my relationship with my pup Hunter to be. I now have a better understanding of him and how I would like our relationship from this day forward. We will live our days as if it were the last. No regrets just appreciation and seizing the moments. Thanks to my dear friend Sonia for recommending this amazing book. Thank you to the author Mr. Stein for this master piece. Amando S.
