Great Book. This book was so great, that I am going to tell all my friends and family about it.

Sort And Sweet. I wasn't really scared at all throughout this in the least but, I absolutely love the ending. The ending leaves it feeling complete and it was just overall a good ending, hence why I give it 5 stars.

It Was Alright. I can tell why it’s free. It’s not a terrible read, but it’s no masterpiece either. It almost feels like it was translated from another language, unless the author writes in that tone. The wording was just weird. The ending was alright. Not as spooky as some make it out to be. I recommend for a good short read, or like when my cousins and I used to do, when we’d gather around and read scary stories in the dark. It’s free and short so I say get it if interested.

Scary but with flaws.. I did enjoy this. But a couple things did throw me off. Such as not knowing the main characters name until half way through. Unless I missed something. But all and all is it scary? Yes.

Good but needs improvement. It was a short but pleasant read. My main critique are why was the girl in the hotel, who was she, who was she always talking to on the phone, what was her business in town? Next, a girl drinking a whole six pack of beer and eating a bunch of burritos seems unlikely. Also, why would she watch a scary movie if she is afraid of the dark. On the other hand it had a good ending.

Very very suspenseful and well detailed. As a fellow author, I look up to great projects like this one. One thing to appreciate is the "voice" of the narrator. Doesn't sound too proper, yet tell vivid details. I'd love to read a full length novel of Leckman's. But all I did was search "horror" and this was one of the first pieces to pop up. I see why!👻

I was alright. The book was interesting but when it came to the last page I was completely lost and confused because it didn't make sense.

Not amazing, nor was it bad!. Although I would like to give this a 4 or 5 star rating, I am slightly apprehensive to do so because this book is marketed as a horror, although it is only slightly scary. I understand other people might find this scary, but if you have a “high tolerance” to horror, maybe don’t read this. BUT if you are just looking for a decent book and not wanting to get scared, this is very good! Thanks!

Well worth the time. Just when you are settling in for a nice creepy little tale, this one slaps you across the face with a definite "not this time lad" and you get a very original hook. Very fast, enjoyable read.
