Eyes wide open. Very exciting book. Would recommend to anyone who likes suspense!

Huh. Based on the review I was expecting a fantastical thriller. This was just another who done it. Very ho hum

Eyes Wide Open. This is a terrific page turner, fast paced and ever winding. Keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end. I will read other books by this well versed author

Sad. 3 Stars. I only gave it three stars because that’s what it seemed to deserve.I will never forget this book though. Because my little brother died while I was reading it. It will be burned into my mind. It’s a book about devastating loss. How is it this is the book I was reading when I lost Michael? It’s really bugging me. My brother didn’t die as a result of violence as in this book but from an undiagnosed medical condition. Just because he was too busy for doctors. Please, anyone reading this, make time for doctors. Tell the people you care about that you love them. Every time you see them. This book was sad. But it does make a point of loving family, and always being there for them. It’s a vitally important lesson. I loved my brother and have no idea what I’m going to do without him. At least reading gave my mind a little break.

So-so. His other books were more interesting. This was a disappointing read. I lost interest partly because the plot was both jumbled and confusing, and because none of the characters were interesting enough for me to care what happened to them.

Great book.. The first hundred pages were a little misleading in how the book was being directed. But after that, fast, interesting, really a good read.

Manson Redux. Nicely written, but borrows extensively from the Manson murders. Only the names and locations seem to differ from the original horrific crime, making Eyes Wide Open seem plageristic.

Eyes wide open. A captivating mystery novel that draws you in and keeps you fascinated. I did however feel like I was reading about the Charles Manson murders. I don't know if that was the authors intentions but I was a little disappointed by that because it didn't feel very original but I still enjoyed it and couldn't wait to get to its end. A good page turner.

Eyes wide open. I liked the way this book was written. I suffered the lost of a son to suicide a year ago and all the storyline happening s really are on target. It helped me work through some of the issues with acceptance I have had. Thanks!

Well written and suspenseful. This was a well written novel with straight-forward dialog and plenty of suspense. The plot was quite straight-forward and the characters very believable. It seemed very realistic to me and evoked memories of events from the 60s. The fact that the inspiration for the novel arose from real events which directly affected the author makes this an even more poignant read. The tragic loss is even more real. This was my first read of author Andrew Gross but it will not be my last.

eyes wide open-fun to read but implausible. enjoyed reading but inconsistencies in the book and laughably impossible medical scenarios took the thrill out of the book. Was he stabbed to death or was he stangled? Zorn's death is attributed to both...yet apparently the strangulation wins out. Was Dr. Erlich's blood pressure and heart rate low or was it back to normal minutes later after he gets brutally assaulted? Sigh....as an ER/trauma nurse in a Level One truma center, these types of inconstencies are pretty obvious. Fast-paced and a fast read.
