Couldn’t put it down. Was immediately sucked into this book. Lots of emotions. Easy read but not so much that I lacked imagination with it. I would highly recommend.

Very good book. This was a great book. I was so engrossed with it that I picked it up every time I got a spare moment. I felt a satisfaction reading it that only a really good book can give. It was easy to get caught up in the scenery and the characters with the rich description that the author gave.

Great Book!. I rarely leave reviews for books, but felt like I had to for this one. This book was definitely a tear jerker, but am so glad that I read it! Such a great story about love and the bonds that you make and how they will change you. Read it! You won’t regret.

Magic Hour. I love this author’s books, but found myself skipping over lots of pages in this one. I really liked the ending, but some of the events were hard to imagine except in science fiction. The writing is so beautiful though, I felt I was in the forest myself. The characters were so relatable- from Ellie being unable to see the best husband in her own backyard to Max recovering from unspeakable grief. Great book!

Good Read. Good story.

Pure Chic Lit. Why literary fiction is my favorite genre, I do occasionally enjoy a book that’s pure chic lit, a human interest story that mainly appeals to women, with a touch of romance to boot. That’s exactly what you get with MAGIC HOUR. I would rate this 3.5 stars and I would recommend it to most of my friends. But not my husband! A little bit too floofy for him.

Magic hour. I agree, loved this book, and I too have been devouring these books one by one, I've read 8 so far, love this author, True colors and firefly lane are both must reads!

Excellent. Once again- Kristin Hannah’s character development and story are top notch. I enjoyed the reunion of the sisters, new found love, and the unconventional way a family is created. Alice’s story is amazing, and the transformation she discovered/realized with the help of Dr. Julia. Fantastic all around!

Impeccable Book. Magic Hour is a wonderful work of fiction. The story of Alice and her journey is moving and absolutely captivating. Each character has been carefully crafted and the narrative is thrilling and deeply immersive.

WOW. It's been a long time since I have read any of her books. I go through spurts. When I got hooked on kristen Hannah's books I read four in a row. Finally picked up this one and could not put it down. Reminded me of the four previous books of hers I had read. It takes a lot for me to not be able to put a book down. She does it to me every time. Just now getting ready to purchase

Magic Hour. I personally liked everything about this book. Kristan Hannah writes beautifully, not too wordy with as few characters as possible. Some authors use too many characters which leads to confusion and repetitive story lines. I love to read and look forward to reading all of Kristan Hannah’s books! Magic Hour. A tragedy involving a psychologist forces her to return to her childhood home. Surprisingly , she meets a ‘lost’ child and she finds a reason to restart and build a meaningful life .

Amazing read. I love this book so much I finished it in one day! I cried a few times honestly this is such a well written book that pulls on your heart strings and keeps you wanting to find out what comes next. It is a must read!

It was good. I am obsessed with most of her books, but not this one. Just took too long to get to the crux of it all. Took me forever to get through (I have finished other books of hers in mere days)

Magic Hour. A very real and beautiful book. I read it aloud to my wife Lisa and we rarely put it down. So well written we didn’t know whether to laugh or cry so we often did both.

A wonderful escape. Thought provoking chic lit. Simultaneously highly original While also being a Hallmark film come to life. Hannah created believable characters you couldn’t help but root for and a small town with both grit heart.

Not sure. Kristin Hannah is my favorite author. This book, in a way or another, is similar to true colors. True colors remains my favorite book by Kristin Hannah. Magic hour, like true colors, addresses hour broken justice system. It addresses wrongful convictions. I love it! I got to appreciate the characters of both Julia and Ellie, particularly Elli. Kristen has done a magnificent job developing Alice’s character. Very good Read -i recommend it!

Couldn’t stop reading. Wonderfully mesmerizing with words so visually descriptive. As the reader I was completely transported to the small town watching the story unfold while being emotionally in tune with each character. Couldn’t stop reading.

I loved this book.. I recently discovered Kristin Hannah and have devoured them one by one. Night Road remains my favorite but this one is a close second. This is a story that will make you heart ache for each character. It's a good read. I found myself reading slowly so it wouldn't be over.
