Good Book for Battle of the Books!. I'm currently involved in a group at school called Battle of the Books. It is fun for me and the list this year for books had Dinosaurs Before Dark. This book is a great book to read in the group because it is simple to read. Honestly, I don't think that this is the best book for me. Younger kids would enjoy these types of books. When I was younger I read these books and loved them. Magic treehouse books are good books to start getting into series. I would recommend these books to younger kids, because this series is easy to read for older readers, like myself. That is only my opinion on this book, so you might think differently!😊

GREAT!. My 7 year old daughter loved this book! She read it in a matter of only a couple days. It's the first chapter book I could convince her to read and now she is begging for the next treehouse book! I am so pleased that she enjoyed it. Definitely worth trying for those Children who say they don't like to read.

Great. I read this book when I was younger, and it was my first chapter book, and it was very worthwhile. I like this series.

Engaging for students. This is a wonderful series for primary and middle school students. I use these with students whose first language is not English and they love the series! My own daughter learned from the same books a decade ago.

Love This Book. I LOVE THIS BOOK SERIES!! Started Reading when i was in first grade (like in 1999 or 2001 cant remember) and loved it. our 1st grade teacher read it to us every day. I HIGHLY recommend this book for your kids or even teens/adults!

Nostalgic. I read these waaaay back when I was in elementary school and had to start my kids off with them! They both enjoyed so much and already want to read it again! On to book 2!

Great setting too. I like the setting, creativity and the adventures. The illustrations are great too.

Magic tree house #1. This book is amazing, it taught me how to read and from that I Love books and magic tree house right now I'm reading Dragon of the red dawn!!!!!!!!!! Perfect for Grade 1!. This is a great early reader, for kids just getting the hang of reading. I read it to my Grade 1 class and they were so entranced by the story! Made for great imaginative play too! Not too scary even for the more sensitive kids.
